I believe, with my twenty years of teaching experience as my guarantee, that my student is absolutely not that kind of person; she is innocent and blameless."

"Well... Teacher Shang, I understand how you feel. How about this, I will have the Academic Affairs Office look into this matter thoroughly. If your student has truly been wronged, the school will definitely give her justice. However, if she has actually committed such indecent acts, the school will handle it strictly."

The principal emphasized the words ’indecent acts,’ making it clear that he was aware of the issues surrounding Gu Qili.
