Bai Xifeng began to store the liver and heart of the boar inside her space storage. She also stored the skin of the boar.

"Why are you storing the skin? We don’t need the skin." Baishe saw she doing so.

"The skin is very thick. There must be a price for this skin too." Bai Xifeng smiled.

Baishe was speechless. This girl even thought of making money at the time like this. Bai Xifeng finished dismantling the boar.

"I want to wash the blood and the meat. Do you know where is the river or clean water?" Bai Xifeng asked.

Bai Xifeng left the array bringing out the meat. They found a small river. She cleaned her hands and the meat.

After she cleaned them, they returned to the array. When she entered the array, she was surprised by another presence inside her array.

She looked at the person with vigilant. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" She asked.

Bai Xifeng saw a man who wore the fox mask sitting inside the array. She was afraid that he was from the same group that wanted to get her.

"This Lord is just passing the area and notices there is an array here. So, I come to see. I don’t expect to see a young woman here." The man narrowed his eyes when he mentioned a young girl.

Bai Xifeng could see that became more alert when facing this man.

"Don’t worry. This lord did not mean any harm." The man stated.

Bai Xifeng still looked at the man. Well, from his feature, Bai Xifeng knew that he was a young man. Probably a few years older than her.

"Hey, Baishe, why can he know I am a woman?" Bai Xifeng asked Baishe and of course, the man could not hear the question.

Baishe did not have an answer to that question. Probably this man had some treasure that could cancel the illusion magic on his side.

"I don’t know. But I can tell you that this man did not have any malicious intention toward you." Baishe stated.

"Are you sure?" Bai Xifeng raised her eyebrow.

"Hmm..." Baishe nodded.

Bai Xifeng became relaxed. She remembered that she wanted to cook the meat. Ignoring the man, she began to start the fire after collecting wood.

She used her power to start the fire. She could admire the power.

"It is so easy to start the fire using my power." Bai Xifeng said to herself.

The man just observed what Bai Xifeng tried to do. After a while, he figured out what Bai Xifeng tried to do after a few observations. This woman was trying to cook in the middle of nowhere.

This action was so bizarre. He could see that Bai Xifeng started to cook the meat.

"I should bring some cooking utensils in the future." Bai Xifeng mumbled.

The man heard that. He could not understand this woman at all. This woman kept showing up on this mountain, fighting with the beasts. And now she was cooking here. It was his first time seeing a woman like her.

The meat was finally cooked. Bai Xifeng started to eat. Then, she remembered the man who was with her. She lifted her head, looking at the man.

"Do you want some?" Bai Xifeng was just asking.

She thought the man would not dare to eat her cooking but who knew that this man suddenly stood up and sat nearby.

Bai Xifeng had to give the cooked meat to the man. The man took the meat and started eating.

Once the meat entered the mouth, his eyes slightly opened. He could not believe that the meat could be this tasty and juicy at the same time.

He did not see that this woman had done anything special to the meat. He wondered how the meat could be this delicious but he did not ask her.

They kept eating and eating until the meat was gone.

"I wish I have a beer or sake." Bai Xifeng sighed.

’What is that?" The man asked.

"Well, they are kind of drinks." Bai Xifeng automatically answered.

"You meant wine?" The man asked back.

"Hmm... something like that, I guess." Bai Xifeng thought.

"What are you doing here?" Seeing Bai Xifeng did not mind talking to him at all, the man asked the question.

"I am practising, fighting the beast and also finding the herbs." Bai Xifeng answered. She asked the question back to the man. "What are you doing here?"

"The same as you." The man answered.

"I see." Bai Xifeng did not dig anymore.

She believed Baishe’s statement that this man did not have any malicious intentions toward her.

"Are you not afraid?" The man asked.

"Of course, I am afraid. But I need to build up my strength to protect myself and the ones I love." Bai Xifeng said.

She did not want those people from Bai Family and Royal Family to step on her head just like that. Her pride would not allow that. Not to mention that she was from a modern world in which equality was everything.

"Oh, someone is targeting your life?" The man narrowed his eyes.

"Well, not now. But who knows in the future? I can not let myself be weak so that those bastards can do whatever they want to me." Bai Xifeng exclaimed.

In the future, she would pay for everything that those people had done to the old Bai Xifeng.
