Chapter 379: Chapter 379: Pharmacist Leng Came Knocking

Actually, she could just use her fire element attribute but why should she waste her energy when she could use another method? The medicine that Old Madam Lei needed did not require her to use her own fire.

While waiting for the pot to be hot, Bai Xifeng started preparing the herbs. She needed the essence of each of the herbs. She began to extract the essences.

She used her cultivation power to extract them. She separated every essence and put it in the bowl. The process took almost two hours to extract all of the essence from all the herbs.

Yu Qi took some water from Mirror World and drank it. Lei Family saw it and thought Bai Xifeng possessed a Qiankuan bag since they saw Bai Xifeng take the water from a pouch. Then the misunderstanding began.

Bai Xifeng ignored them and continued the process. This time, she would pour each of the herbs one by one while stirring the mixture. It would not be stopped.

The mixtures started showing a light green colour. After a while, it became crystal clear colour. Bai Xifeng nodded herself after seeing the colour. She stopped stirring the mixture. Then, she chchannelledhe the Qi into the mixture.

Lei Family was surprised to see such a pure Qi. Then, the Lei Family started to smell the medicine.

Bai Xifeng continued doing that. The smell began to spread widely. It also spread outside Lei Mansion. Everyone around the city was surprised.

"What a rich fragrance."

"I heard my body feel better when I smell this.

"What kind of elixir it is?"

"Where does it come from?"

Of course, Pharmacist Leng also smelled it. He was surprised. He also thought it was a good fragrance. He immediately stepped out wanting to know where the fragrance came from.

He followed the fragrance and he stopped at the Lei Mansion. There were a lot of people gathered in front of Lei Mansion. They also followed the fragrance and it led them to Lei Mansion.

The people noticed Pharmacist Leng. They were surprised that Pharmacist Leng was there. Actually, they thought it was Pharmacist Leng who concocted the elixir which gave this fragrance. They knew that Lei Head’s Family sought Pharmacist Leng’s skills to treat his mother. If it was not Pharmacist Leng, then who concocted this?

Pharmacist Leng frowned. He also wanted to know who concocted this elixir. He must be a skilful person.

Pharmacist Leng knocked on the gate. He wanted to enter. He had permission to enter Lei Mansion because Lei Aiguo gave him that permission to treat his mother. He wanted to enter the mansion and find out who the person was. However, to his surprise, his entry had been denied by the guards.

"Do you know who I am?" Pharmacist Leng asked.

"I know you, Pharmacist Leng." The guard replied politely.

"Then, let me in." Pharmacist Leng demanded.

"I can not do as you order because Master Lei already told me that we are not receiving any visitors today." The guard said.

Pharmacist Leng was angry when he heard this. How dare Lei Aiguo treat him like this? Did he want his mother to die?

Lei’s guards also noticed there was a crowd outside the mansion. One of them was asked to go and inform their housekeeper about this matter.

The housekeeper rushed to Old Madam Lei’s courtyard because he knew that Lei Aiguo was there observing the process of Bai Xifeng concocting the elixir. He entered the kitchen silently and went to Lei Aiguo’s side. He whispered something to Lei Aiguo’s ear.

Lei Aiguo was surprised. He turned to his son.

"Wait here. I have something to do." Lei Aiguo said to Lei Anlei.

Lei Anlei nodded. Lei Aiguo left. It was like the guards said. There was a crowd outside. Lei Aiguo stepped outside.

The moment the crowd saw Lei Aiguo, they immediately barged Lei Aiguo with questions.

"Head Family Lei, why strong fragrances are coming from your house?"

"What kind of the elixir it is?"

"It feels good when I smell it."

"My body feels light."

"Everyone, please calm down." Lei Aiguo said.

"Lei Aiguo." Pharmacist Leng called Lei Aiguo.

"Pharmacist Leng." Lei Aiguo said.

"What is going on?" Pharmacist Leng asked.

"Oh... Someone is concocting an elixir to my mother." Lei Aiguo explained.

"You mean you managed to get the herbs?" Pharmacist Leng asked.

"Of course not." Lei Aiguo shook his head.

"Then, how..." Pharmacist Leng did not finish his sentence when Lei Aiguo cut him off.

"Someone told me that my mother did not require Linglian Flower to heal." Lei Aiguo looked at Pharmacist Leng’s reaction.

Even though it was just a split second, Lei Aiguo caught Pharmacist Leng’s reaction and he was surprised. So, what Bai Xifeng said was the truth. Pharmacist Leng really tricked him to go and find the Linglian Flower.

Pharmacist Leng still wanted to trick Lei Aiguo.

"Lei Aiguo, that person must be lying." Pharmacist Leng said.

"If that person lies, then it is fine. I will take that I am a fool to believe him." Lei Aiguo said. Then he looked at the crowd. "My mother is undergoing the treatment. Please leave for now."

"Oh... I see..."

"We are sorry for disturbing you, Head Family Lei."

"We are leaving."

"Let’s leave. Don’t disturb Old Madam Lei’s treatment."

Lei Aiguo cupped his fists and bowed his head thanking the people. "Thank you, everyone, for your understanding."
