"We do not allow unknown beasts to our military camp." Chao Meng did not want to take a risk.

He was a beast tamer. So, he could see the contract between Bai Xifeng and Gryffindor.

Bai Xifeng was surprised when someone could tell that. Baishe told her that a beast tamer could see the contract between the master and the beast.

The soldier took Bai Xifeng’s reaction as she did not know that she had been contracted with this beast.

"You don’t know, do you?" The soldier asked.
