Another week passed. Tyler was punched and sent flying by Lily Gomes. She helps him during practice. Warriors have to practise their body and combat skills.

Tyler’s mouth twitched. He was thrown into the sea. Tyler got a swimming skill inheritance from Kun Peng. With this he can swim like a Kun in the ocean. But it’s kind of hard to practice. It’s like he needs to understand how Fish swims. Even so he never neglected his practice.

That’s why even some Tiny Monsters that live deep in the Oceans are even more dangerous than the Giant Monsters that live above. " This is a daily routine for Tyler. He learns many new things from Lily Gomes.

"Alright. Enough of training today. We are going to a Floating Restaurant." Lily said

"Like a floating island?" Tyler tilted his head

"No. It’s just a restaurant on a Ship that is Floating in the Sea."

Tyler revealed a thoughtful look and asked, "Can we Hire a Chef?"

As though Lily Gomes was surprised that Tyler would ask that, she looked at him with questioning eyes as she complained, "Why don’t you like my cooking?"

Tyler avoided eye contact.

"Looks like you really don’t like the cooking of your slaves too?" Lily said. She doesn’t care about the Food that much.

"Yub... There are no professional chefs. I even invited my chefs but they refused to leave the island." Tyler sighed.

"From what I know, the Floating Restaurant trained many professional chefs. They all travelled to the Sea after the training. You can recruit one." She explained.

Tyler and others appeared at their destination.

Floating Kitchen is a fairly large ship. It takes an oval shape, with the normal masts but has a fish as a front-piece/head. The Floating Fish has a round bottom. A small array of cannons are lined on the sides, which can be used for battle.

It also has four levels: Lower deck, which is where the main restaurant is. Middle Deck, which is the main kitchen. Upper Deck, where twenty three main cooks reside. The fins that fold out to the sides from underneath are to stabilise the restaurant during harsh weather and also are used as a battle platform to prevent the restaurant itself from receiving collateral damage.

There are already many ships lining up for the reservation. Tyler understood that they would also serve food to the ship, if they paid extra. The reservation is booked until next month. But there are ways to get food faster. And that is, paying a little bit more.

Tyler didn’t even hesitate. He was able to pull up some strings with money.

Inside the Floating Kitchen Restaurant.

"Peel that potato, and trim one side for flat surfaces. Place chopsticks on both sides and slice it quarter inch apart. Now rotate 90° and repeat it.

Add flour, Cumin, chilli powder in a bowl. Now add these White powder in the crack. Now let’s give this potato a Hot Oil Bath for 7 minutes. There you have it. Potato Pom Pom." An Octopus, who is the size of a human , was talking to its small mermaid doll while cooking.

"Hey look and ingredient is making food."

"Hahaha..."

Other trainee chefs are laughing at him. The Octopus turned around and took his potato pom pom.

"One day I will definitely cook him a Takayoki." Another cook said while others laughed.

Being a sea creature not a human, Tako is always getting Bullied by the humans. But he doesn’t care. He loves to cook. He loves his mermaid doll. Those two are enough for him to live happily.

After taking the Potato pom pom, Taka appeared near the young boy who was cleaning the deck of the ship. Tyler, who was passing by, saw Taka giving food to the young man. The young man smiled and ate it.

"Taka. How many times we have to tell you. Don’t give these Janitors food during their working time." One of the servers complained.

"But he missed breakfast. He needs energy to eat." Taka took the mop and started cleaning. "I will do the work."

Taka’s voice is so deep and unique.

When the server left, he went to another server and said Something they laughed mockingly at Taka’s direction.

"That’s a Fishmen." Lily Gomes said as she walked inside.

Fishman are rare in the south. That’s why Tyler is surprised by seeing an Octopus.

"Can he be eaten?" Silvia asked.

Taka, who was cleaning, suddenly shivered. He doesn’t know why. He looked around but found nothing.

Tyler and the girls entered the restaurant. It is not as luxurious as he expected. But It was clean and nice. Many Adventures, even Pirates are dining here without any worries.

Tyler who sat down suddenly fell in deep thought.

"What happened?" Lily asked.

"I think I forgot something." He said.

"If you forgot something, then it is not that important." She took a wine bottle and opened its cork.

"You are right." Tyler nodded.

Meanwhile inside Tyler’s Ship,

"Dyamn Tyler. At Least give me a personal maid for my personal use." Mathilda angrily muttered. She took the fork under her bed and used it to poke the door lock. She was glad that the door was not locked with an array. No one locks the door with an array in the ship because if the array fails during an important time it might lead to a dangerous situation.

Tyler and others had a hearty meal. He was so satisfied by their dishes. Mana ate a lot of food that both Lily and Silvia couldn’t help but stare at her stomach wondering if there was a black hole in it.

Tyler is used to her behaviour and doesn’t care. He quickly called a server and told them of hiring a cook. The server brought him to another room. There are many people interviewing trainee Chefs.

Even Pirates are looking for a chef.

"1000 Lydia bet. He will choose Female." Lily Gomes said.

"That’s unfair. You took the best option." Mana pouted.

"I am definitely not selecting Female chef." Tyler said.

Female Chefs are so rare. Even if there is one, it is not easy for them to board a ship. But there are some female cooks who don’t care about anything and even choose pirate ships.

Some low grade female Chefs are instantly hired just because they are female. Tyler doesn’t care about the gender. He just wants a good chef.

There are some workers who are giving suggestions to some chefs. Tyler picked up the resumes of some chefs and went through it.

Lily Gomes is also helping him.

"This guy’s resume says he was born in the south. And both of his parents are from the south. But he looks like someone from the North. He calls himself a best chef. Overconfidence. We don’t need him." Just like that Lily Gomes is rejecting one by one.

"This one looks ugly. rejected."

"Seriously? " Tyler shook his head and laughed.

"hmm... This is the Fishman we saw on the deck." Silvia said.

"Oh this guy is kind. But there are some scratches and scribbled drawings on his dress. He is probably being bullied by his colleagues for being a Fishman. In the south Fishman are rare. I don’t know Fishman’s aesthetics, so I am not sure whether he is ugly or handsome." Lily said.

"We are looking for a chef. Not a servant for you." Tyler retorted.

"We don’t need that. We have you." Mana said to which Silvia nodded .

"ouch... Something is burning." Lily Gomes laughed.

Silvia then turned to Mana and asked innocently, "What is manservant?"

Tyler raised his knuckle.

Then they selected a bunch of chefs for the interview. Tyler paid a little generously. So he was taken to their secondary ships which had cargo of ingredients.

"We will send the candidates here. You can choose them without any disturbance." The worker smiled before leaving.

"Money is really the boss in most places." Lily murmured.

"Well. It’s true. But Money doesn’t matter." Tyler replied.

"Says the rich guy." Lily chuckled with a mocking expression.

The first candidate is a beautiful woman with heavy makeup. She is also wearing revealing clothes.

"Mana has a feeling that this Interview will end quickly." Mana murmured.
