I hadn’t heard from Damon for almost half a month, either in the real world or online.

Jones showed up right in front of us, snatching my bag without a second thought. He made my bag look like a toy as he stood tall while holding it.

With his other hand holding mine, he responded to me, "Yeah, let’s grab a bite."

Sofia rolled her eyes. "Dr Jones, the only thing you’re missing is a ’Do Not Disturb’ sign on your face!"

Jones cracked a smile. His subtle one made him look extra charming under the sunlight.
