The Protagonist System
335 Millions To Spare

“Let's get started with the real show.” I said and snapped my fingers and Rufus pushed the button to pull back the first set of curtains to reveal 10 mannequins wearing the best fashions that none of them had seen before.

All of the cheerleaders squealed with delight, as did the fashion guru, and the mannequins were swarmed by them. It didn't take long for them to decide who was going to wear what first, and the curtain was closed again to let them change.

“You're really great for letting us do this.” Tara whispered in my ear.

I shivered for her and she smiled smugly. “To be fair, I get to watch a bunch of fit cheerleaders strut their stuff, too.”

Tara giggled and bit my earlobe as her hand grazed me down there. “You can't get harder than you already are, can you?”

“Maybe.” I hedged and she kissed my cheek.

“Call Bonnie out first or she'll never forgive you for snubbing her.” Tara warned me and ducked behind the curtain to change her ball gown out for one of the other outfits.

I walked off the stage and over to where Elsa sat and she was furiously writing in her notebook about everything. I let her for a few minutes before I cleared my throat. “To start us off with the outfit worn the best, please welcome the Queen Bee of Middleton High School, Bonnie Rockweller!”

The curtain parted for her and Bonnie strutted out onto the runway as if she owned the place.

Of course, I had to describe her, since I was the announcer. “As you can see, Miss Rockwaller's hair is done up in a messy bun to bare her sensuous neck with a fancy custom made diamond necklace around it. Her top is expertly split in half with two colors that bared one of her sexy shoulders, hung perfectly on her lithe and sporty frame, and both colors accentuate her darker skin color perfectly.”

Bonnie looked immensely pleased and her bright smile showed exactly how much she loved the attention as she strolled down the runway and her 3 inch heels clacked with authority as she walked.

“The skirt has a classic A-line slim cut, with a hem innovatively cut like a corkscrew, and looks fantastic on her long muscular legs.” I added and nodded off to the side. Rufus hit the sound synthesizer to simulate light clapping and aw sounds from a crowd.

Bonnie's whole face lit up when she reached the end of the runway and saw Elsa lightly clapping for her. She whipped around and strutted back up the runway with her ass shaking like she wanted to cause an earthquake.

In order to keep up my act, I had to add a wolf whistle just as she reached the curtains. Bonnie glanced back to give me a very brief sexy smile and went behind the curtain. I chuckled and used my X-Ray vision to see was ready to go next, and Jessica was hyping herself up while the others were congratulating Bonnie.

“Next up, the master of the difficult jumping scissor kick herself, Jessica Masters!” I announced and Jessica jumped slightly, took a deep breath, and strode out as she tried to copy Bonnie's confidence. “Ooo, she put her hair into comb-over to show off the opposite shoulder ruffle on the dress! That's an excellent choice!”

Jessica blushed and tried to glare at me, except I was describing her in very flattering words and all she could do was walk and keep looking forward. When she reached the end of the runway, she smiled at Elsa's polite clapping and the sounds Rufus played. I gave her a thumbs up and she walked back up the runway with her back straight and an actual confident stride.

I had 5 more girls to play announcer for and I wasn't going to run out of adjectives to describe them anytime soon. I just wondered if I could get any of them to blush.

Kim Possible was not jealous. No, she was not. She didn't need her own rocket powered hover vehicle. Not at all. Shego glanced at her sullen face and laughed under her breath. She didn't tease her, though. They were on an important mission right now and the teasing could wait until after she had her evil mastermind back to being himself.

“That's Ron's house over there.” Kim said and felt a little guilty about telling the bad guys where he lived. It was for a good cause, though. She wanted her best friend back!

Shego hit the scanner and it beeped at her. “Huh. It can't detect anything.”

“What? He's supposed to be home!” Kim reached over and hit the scanner, only to get the same results. “Bonnie told me the fashion show started an hour ago and she rubbed it in my face that she rocked her first time on the runway.”

Shego gave her a disbelieving stare and then shrugged. “Whatever. I was shooting my way in to a random room anyway.”

The hovercar floated around the house and two laser cannons popped out of the front.

“This thing has blasters, too?” Kim asked and crossed her arms, then her eyes widened. “Wait! You don't have to shoot...”

*Pew! Pew!*

A globe of energy appeared around the house and it glowed for a second before disappearing.

“Okay, I didn't expect that to happen.” Shego and Kim said at the same time. They exchanged looks and Kim shrugged. Shego huffed. “Fine, full bore this time.”

*Pew! Pew!* *Pew! Pew!* *Pew! Pew!* *Pew! Pew!* *Pew! Pew!*

The energy globe absorbed it all and nothing happened. Both of them stared at the completely unscathed house and seemed at a loss about what to do about it.

“What do we do now?” A nervous and still hogtied Drakken asked.

“You can land and knock of the damn door like normal people!” Ron's voice shouted.

Kim and Shego leaned out over the ridge of the hovercar to look down and saw him wearing a very nice tuxedo and holding a tray of cocktail weenies. Shego shrugged and brought the hovercar down to land on the back lawn and picked Drakken up like a suitcase.

“Ooo! Are those pigs in a blanket with bacon bits? I must have the recipe!” Drakken exclaimed.

Shego groaned at that and Kim laughed at her reaction, then both of them jumped out of the hovercar and landed in front of Ron, whom held out a cocktail weenie for Drakken to eat.

“This way, please. We're in the middle of the first snack and refreshment portion of the event.” Ron said and motioned towards the back door of the house. “Down the hallway and through the living room. It's though the first door on the left.”

Shego gave Kim a look and the girl didn't react, so she shrugged and carried a happily chewing Drakken inside. Kim followed her and Ron entered the house and closed the door behind them. A minute later, they entered the redesigned ballroom and there was a small shriek of delight. Everyone turned to look at the hogtied Drakken and he looked shocked.

“Elsa Cleeg is here! How did you manage that, Stoppable? She's the top fashionista in all of Middleton!” Drakken almost shouted.

“I'm not claiming credit for that.” Ron said and pointed at Bonnie. “Queen Bee there arranged for her to come.”

Bonnie preened under the positive attention. “She's a family associate and has worked with my mother a time or two. I had to include her if anything fashion related came up.”

Elsa also preened under the positive attention. “It has been a lucrative arrangement.”

“She chose six of the ten designs shown so far to split the proceeds with.” Tara gushed and she wore her leather jacket and Ron's borrowed jeans. “She can only guarantee those outfits will sell well through her contacts.”

“I'm sure Club Banana will take those denim jeans and make them a must have item.” Elsa agreed. “They pair well with any of the provocative colored tops presented because the neutral color doesn't clash with them.”

“Shego! Untie me this instant!” Drakken ordered.

After years of taking his orders without question, Shego used her plasma blast to cut through the bindings.

Drakken jumped to his feet, quickly wiped off his blue uniform of any dirt, and cleared his throat. “Well, if it isn't too much trouble, we're crashing this party.”

A few of the cheerleaders softly laughed behind their hands.

“Would you like another cocktail weenie?” Ron asked and presented the tray to him.

“Don't mind if I do.” Drakken said and took one, then another. “I really would like the recipe.”

Ron smiled and nodded. “I'll write it out for you while you schmooze around.”

“Thank you.” Drakken said and proceeded to do exactly that. He delved into a discussion with Elsa and Bonnie about the merits of using a scoop neck top over a plunging v-neck, because it gives cleavage but doesn't go too deep when you bent over.

Kim and Shego exchanged looks again, shrugged, and took a cocktail weenie each and spread out. Neither of them could pass up a good party when it was presented to them.

Tara was the only model needed for the accessories portion of the event. She was barely out from behind the curtain when Bonnie shouted.

“I have to have that purse!” Bonnie exclaimed.

“I'll put your name on it.” Ron whispered to her and she beamed a smile at him.

“Those shoes are to die for.” Jessica commented next.

“Don't forget that one full outfit is yours as payment for letting me use you as models today.” Ron reminded her.

Jessica gave him a needy look before looking back at the stage. She had forgotten about that, because she really liked those custom fit jeans and wasn't sure if she wanted anything else. Now she did.

Bonnie handed her a piece of paper and a pen to mark what she wanted and showed her own, which had the stylish skirt she wore, a different blouse, the heels she wore, that purse, the hat Crystal wore, the diamond necklace she wore with her first outfit, and the sapphire earrings Hope wore.

“I don't think he meant to include those as accessories.” Jessica whispered.

Bonnie smirked at her and didn't say anything.

Jessica looked at Ron as he described the belt Tara was wearing and she felt guilty that they were taking advantage of him. When he turned his head slightly towards her and winked, she blushed at being caught staring and then felt bold and winked back. He smiled and started talking about Tara's calf-high boots that also came in knee high.

He really does know Bonnie as well as I do. Jessica thought and felt better about things. He assumed she was going to include the jewellery and added it to the outfits anyway.

Jessica's eyes went to Elsa Cleeg and saw her nodding along to Ron's words and adding the different accessories to her list of commissions. She knew they would sell just as well as the coordinated outfits, because people not interested in the fashion would still want the hats, belts, and purses for their own outfits.

The impromptu fashion show had turned out better than anyone could have guessed and Jessica was sure that Ron was going to be obscenely rich when the popular Club Banana started showcasing his clothes and accessories.

Little did she know she was partially right. It was when his jeans and cheap cell phones were picked up by Smart Mart, their world's version of Walmart, that both he and Elsa would gain fame and fortune practically overnight.

“Are you sure I'm the one that has to do this?” Drakken asked Kim in a whisper. “Ron's so nice and he's been nothing but a gentleman with all these scantily clad girls around.”

Kim fought down her hesitation at being reminded that Ron hasn't really done anything evil since gaining Drakken's evil energy. He just did a lot of things her Ron wouldn't even think of doing, like making a motorcycle, becoming semi-popular and ingratiating himself with the popular kids, and getting a steady girlfriend without telling her.

“If you don't do it, there's no guarantee that you'll get your energy balanced again.” Kim told him and pulled out the Attitudinator from her backpack. “Shego, we need a distraction.”

“Those curtains do look flammable.” Shego said and smirked. “One distraction coming right up.”

Kim held her tongue at the thought of lighting Ron's house on fire. She might have spoken up if she didn't know Ron was safety conscious and had a fire extinguisher nearby.

“Get ready, Drakken.” Kim said and saw Shego stand with her back to one of the curtains that blocked off the changing area. There was a small green burst and the curtains caught fire like dry kindling, which was a lot faster than they had planned.

“Go!” Kim gasped as Tara and a few of the other girls screamed about the spreading fire.

“Everybody OUT!” Ron yelled and ran to the side of the room and came back with a large fire extinguisher. The first blast hit Shego in the face and she stumbled away from the curtains as she spit and sputtered the foam out of her mouth.

Drakken did his best to sneak over behind Ron as he used a fire extinguisher to fight off the massively growing flames and he felt guilty about it as well. He had no choice, not if he wanted Shego to stop yelling at him.

“It's time for your evil to end and for me to get mine back!” Drakken said and shoved the helmet onto Ron's head.

“What are you doing?” Ron asked and ignored him to keep fighting the fire. “I'm trying to keep my house from burning down!”

The helmet started to whine and glow with both blue and red energies as Ron did something to the fire extinguisher and the volume of foam it spewed out tripled. He had most of the fire out when the helmet started shaking violently, making it difficult for Drakken to keep hold of it, then it exploded.

It threw him and Drakken about ten feet away from each other and they landed on the floor just as two clouds of energy came from the broken helmet. The blue energy went into Ron and the angrily pulsing red energy went into Drakken.

The now growing out of control fire reached the ceiling and made a whoosh sound as it instantly spread and covered the entire ceiling, licking the other walls and quickly catching the rest of the room on fire.

“Ow.” Ron said and sat up, rubbing his head. “What just happened?”

“You were having a bad day.” Kim said and helped him stand up. “It's good to have you back to your old self, Ron.”

Ron stopped rubbing his head and frowned. “What do you mean by that?” He asked and she didn't answer. “Wait a minute. I wasn't having a bad day. I was having an excellent day! Then that bitch Shego lit my curtains on fire!”

“What did you call me?” Shego asked with a glare as her hands glowed green.

“You heard me.” Ron glared back. “My house is burning down right now because of YOU!”

“It was her idea to distract you!” Shego spat and pointed at Kim.

Ron turned his glare to Kim. “Distract me from what?”

“From me.” A deep male voice said as a quite different looking Dr. Drakken rose from the floor. “It was her brilliant and barely thought through plan to restore me to my evil self.”

Ron, Kim, and Shego stared at the slightly red skin of Dr. Drakken. He was also buffed up and his outfit was barely able to contain his more muscular form. His features looked a lot more monkey-ish than usual, too.

“I'm honestly surprised it worked, to be honest.” The reformed Drakken said and flexed his slight larger hands. “I feel even more evil now and I have knowledge I never had before about fighting techniques and how to tap into a fundamental force of the universe and bend it to my will...”

*VNNNNNNNN!*

Two bright red beams sliced through Drakken's surprised face and both Kim and Shego turned away so they wouldn't see the severed parts as they slid off to fall to the floor. They heard the shlunk of a sword as it impaled Drakken's chest and winced as it ensured he was completely dead.

A burst of extremely cold air covered the inside of the room, essentially freezing the flames solid where they were, except it was a little too late to save that part of the house from being damaged.

“Dammit, it's going to take the rest of the day to clean up this mess.” Ron said with a shake of his head.

Both Kim and Shego looked over at him and there was no evidence at all that he was the one that just did what he just did to both the empowered Drakken and the iced over room.

“Ron...” Kim started to say she was sorry.

“I'll deal with you later.” Ron cut her off and looked at Shego. “You have exactly ten seconds to leave my sight before you get the Drakken treatment.”

Shego glanced at the popcicle with only half a head and a melting sword in his chest, then she ran like her life depended on it, because it did. The hovercar took off just as the ten seconds ran out and Ron let her go.

“The Attitudinator didn't work.” Kim said, sadly.

“You're wrong, Kim. It did.” Ron said and picked up the two halves of the helmet. “The problem is that it worked too well. It took all of the evil energy in me, including the tempting monkey powers I was ignoring, and gave it to Drakken.”

Kim stared at him and didn't know what to say.

“I have an ability called Mind Block that stops all outside influences on me, no matter the source. My own emotions can still get to me, because I'm not an inhuman monster.” Ron said and crushed the two halves into dust as if it was nothing.

Kim took a small nervous step back from him.

“You went through all that trouble, potentially creating the worst evil villain to ever exist in the world, and it was all because you wanted your best friend back.” Ron said and didn't take a step towards her, because he knew she would try to attack him if he did. “How does it feel, Kim? To know you could have ruined the entire world, and it was because you didn't like that I was starting to fix my life?”

Kim opened her mouth and closed it again, because she couldn't answer that. She did want her best friend back and she was sad that she didn't. Her thoughts showed on her face, because Ron huffed.

“You didn't lose me as a best friend. I didn't do anything, anything at all, to make you think I wasn't.” Ron said with a sigh. “So, why? Why did you assume I was evil because I was behaving better? Acting better? Doing better in school? Why was that evil?”

Kim really didn't know how to answer that.

“It's because you are no longer the safe backup option.” Bonnie said.

Both Ron and Kim turned to look at her. She had the other cheerleaders behind her and they gave her their support.

“She could date, and have fun adventures, and ignore you as much as she liked, because you would always be there for her to lean on and rely on when she needed it.” Bonnie explained. “When she was older and wiser, and as soon as she was done having her fun with everyone else, she would fall back to you and embrace the safe and normal life you would happily give her.”

The silence was telling, as was Kim's slight blush, because she didn't deny it.

“It would have been a great plan if she hadn't bungled this up.” Bonnie said and waved at the ruined fashion show. “Doing it was one thing, because even I can respect someone fighting for what they want. Having a chance to change a man to who you want them to be, is every girl's right.”

The other cheerleaders nodded, even Tara, despite knowing it was Ron that Kim was fighting for.

“But, you brought the villains to his house. They know where he lives now. Where he sleeps at night.” Bonnie said, ominously. “You brought the danger home, Kim Possible, and that's unforgivable.”
