The Princess' Harem -
Chapter 34: Back To Elysia
Chapter 34: Back To Elysia
Prince Arin, who was about to scold his men for leaving the person unbound, froze when he saw who it was. His face and body stiffened.
"Y-You!" he stammered.
The person walked past everyone sitting on the floor, heading toward Prince Arin while laughing.
"Why? Weren’t you just boldly declaring that you would overthrow me, my brave little brother?"
Hearing the taunt, Prince Arin snapped out of his shock and quickly shouted, "Seize him!!"
Prince Arin’s soldiers hesitated as they moved toward the man, who was now revealed to be Prince Rayne. But Arin’s sharp voice rang out again, snapping them to attention. "You fools! Capture him!"
The elegantly dressed guards also stepped forward to seize Prince Rayne, but suddenly, a voice echoed from the entrance.
"Nobody moves!"
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice. At the entrance stood a group of hooded figures dressed in dark garments, their faces covered except for their eyes.
Two of them raised their bows, aiming directly at Prince Arin’s forces, stopping them in their tracks.
"You should surrender, my poor little brother. It would make things much easier," Prince Rayne said, clicking his tongue as if pitying him.
Prince Arin’s face paled at the sight of the newcomers. He knew exactly who they were—the Shadow Elite of the Valendale Empire, an elite force that carried out only the most secretive royal missions.
"This can’t be. Father was biased from the beginning..." he muttered, his face blank and drained of color.
But as the Shadow Elite began to close in on him, Arin suddenly pulled a dagger from beneath his cloak and lunged toward Viana, who was seated nearby.
But just as his hand was about to grab Viana, a figure darted in front of Prince Arin, catching the hand that held the dagger. The figure twisted his arm sharply to the side, causing the dagger to fall to the ground.
Then, the figure pinned Prince Arin’s arm behind his back, making him wince in pain.
"Let go of me, you bastard!" Arin shouted, only to be met with an even tighter hold on his arm.
Reyes, who had pinned the Prince’s arm, turned to the Princess and asked, "Are you alright, Your Highness?"
Viana, now with Sina embracing her, nodded weakly.
Prince Rayne, who was now standing before Arin with a slightly angry expression, punched Arin in the stomach.
He then said to him, who was now writhing in pain, "That’s for the people you kidnapped and sold as slaves."
Once again, he punched Arin in the stomach and said, "This one is for planning to overthrow me."
And he delivered another blow to Arin’s stomach, causing him to cough violently. "This one is for hurting the Crown Princess of the Elysia Kingdom."
Then, Prince Rayne signaled the elite guards to take Prince Arin away.
He quickly moved toward Viana and knelt before her. "Are you alright, Your Highness?"
"I am fine," she said with a soft smile, then asked in return, "Are you hurt anywhere?"
The Prince shook his head, then spoke again. "I apologize for troubling you in capturing the mastermind behind all of this."
The Princess placed her small hand on his shoulder and said, "You informed us beforehand, and we agreed, didn’t we? Besides, this will make it easier to uncover the case in Elysia."
The Prince looked up, his sky-blue eyes meeting Viana’s face. He then gently held the arm that had touched his shoulder and said, "I promise to inform you as soon as we find anything here, so Elysia can bring justice to its people."
Then, he kissed Viana’s hand, lingering slightly longer than expected. Suddenly, the Love Percentage screen above his head appeared, displaying 20%.

The sun was setting when Viana finally returned to her room in the Elysia Palace. After freshening up and changing into new clothes, she immediately collapsed onto her bed.
Her mind, once filled with countless thoughts, started to calm as she breathed in the familiar scent of flowers that always brought her peace.
The quiet, soothing atmosphere, combined with the comforting fragrance of her room, helped her relax, and before she knew it, she had fallen asleep.
As dinner time approached, Sina gently woke her up. "...Princess, Your Highness Princess."
Her eyes slowly opened, and she sat up before asking, "Is it time for dinner, Sina?"
Her personal maid replied, "Yes, Your Highness. You should hurry a bit so you won’t be late."
Viana had already asked Sina to help her prepare for dinner, as she wanted the arrests of those involved in the slave trade case to begin tomorrow.
Still feeling a bit drowsy, she let her maids prepare her for dinner.
Once everything was ready, Viana, now dressed in a pastel yellow gown with lilac flowers adorning her hair, gracefully entered the royal dining hall, where her father and mother were already waiting.
With delight, she walked toward her mother, who immediately stood up and embraced her.
"Oh, thank the heavens, you’re safe," her mother said, a warm smile on her beautiful face.
"I am fine, Mother," she replied, kissing her mother’s cheek before making her way to her father, who sat at the head of the table.
She kissed him on the cheek as well, then took her seat, facing the Queen, who looked at her with deep affection.
The King chuckled and spoke as the servants began serving the meal. "Now, tell us everything about your experience in Valendale," he said, raising his half-full wine glass toward Viana.
She giggled, then raised her wine glass and clinked it against her father’s. "Everything went smoothly there, Father. In fact, our plan succeeded in trapping the mastermind behind it all," she said with a satisfied smile.
"But wasn’t it dangerous?" the Queen asked, her expression full of concern.
Viana shook her head. "Of course not, Mother. Valendale’s shadow forces were there, and I was personally guarded by two highly skilled Royal Guards. Even Reyes himself saved me at a critical moment."
"Ah, I’m relieved to hear that," the Queen sighed.
The King, who had been quietly listening to his daughter’s story, finally spoke. "Alright. Tomorrow, we will begin the arrests of those involved in the slave trade in Elysia."
