Chapter 74: Cht 74: Breaking Point

In cycle of memory, his consciousness inside felt like a consistent object without being effected, bewitched by the memory or brainwashed to believe that the man is him.

Yet here accrued a ability that constantly improved and involved with passage of time loop experience.

Might be or maybe not for the half trillion’th time world went back on time or around hundred billion years passed.

His consciousness never changed, never felt aging just after next time reversal. As if this place is not affected by passage of time cycle nor is the consciousness affected.

Yet he could feel his tempered consciousness with refined amd evolved ability. Both kept increasing in power and through continuous tempering.

Little by little improvement on each reversal. Never perceiving even slightest trace of bottleneck.

But his consciousness knew it can’t go on like this. He eventually have to find a breaking point to end this broken memory loop.

Keeping it in mind his consciousness kept trying to find a loophole to exploit.

Consciousness now can stop the man in his spot for few months if necessary even without reaching the blackhole and resonance with it. If he wants the man to move left, it definitely won’t turn to right.

In fact while inside the blackhole, his consciousness felt like omnipotent, as long as he wants the man might be forever trapped in blackhole. Never leaving for eternity.

Yet these aren’t the solution.

Each time the man reached the blackhole, somehow jamming ability turned to only slow down the man, not stopping his steps even for a moment. As if this moment is constant factor and bound to happen no matter whatever his consciousness tries.

At number around trillion, time reversed again sending him back to wandering.

’Have to use everything after leaves the boundary, in one go.’ consciousness felt like shaking his head inside but alas there is nothing to shake.

For own comfort he could shake the man if he wanted but what’s the point, after all body is not really his.

After wandering while patrolling that man soon reached the blackhole.

The man only slowed down for an instant and returned to normal soon after.

Consciousness inside didn’t use much force nor used for too long. Just made the ability more active by resonating with the blackhole for once.

Time passed,

Man reached the edge of the universe and stood on invisible floor infront of the transparent barrier, starring at the chaotic region.

Mass of endless clustered energy, invisible to the naked eyes of any mortal.

Hours passed while staring ahead and soon a silhouette, a blurry outline soon appeared on horizon at the universal wall at other side.

The man kept watching with confused expression.

Soon the figure passed through the barrier, which is only stopping the chaotic energy. Yet still only a blurry outline in eyes of that man.

Time passed as that figured kept going deeper into chaotic region, further away from her universal barrier while closer to the one that the man has kept his eyes from.

Slowly outline became clearer as she moved at tremendous speed unseen to the naked eye even for the man. Yet his eyes could keep up with her flying speed as he was one of the few individuals granted the ability to mobilise the very core energy of the universe itself.

Use it as he likes, as it fits him.

Whenever, wherever, however.

But was also reminded that universal energy can only be borrowed inside the universe itself.

One step outside and he will loose the authority to wield it.

Yet that condition already flew out out his head when the man saw the darkness embodied woman become clearer as she kept further traveling through the chaotic region.

She stopped at some point in middle of chaotic energy zone, where chaotic energy is more denser than near the edges.

The man’s mind was in turmoil after observing her, seeing her more clearly.

Humanoid figure just like him. Eyes, nose, mouth shape, skeleton shape similar like him.

Only their both appearance different and he more taller.

Man never met and even heard of any creature looking like him or the woman he has eyes upon at the moment.

Consciousness inside felt every thought, every emotion more deeper with each reversal.

Astonishment, surprise, pain, enduring and defeat at the hand of helplessness. And then time rewind. Everything, same thing repeat itself.

Yet he have never heard of any place where no species similar structure to humanoid doesn’t exist.

Months passed as woman stopped absorbing the chaotic energy and stayed afloat.

Man is still staring at her without blinking, in thoughtless state. As if possessed, nothing else exists in his world other than the woman at the moment.

The consciousness never got confused from the memory cycle of hundreds of billion years.

Yet he also felt something while watching the woman as if yearning toward her.

But his consciousness is somehow different from the man watching.

The man is only confused at the moment while also curious about her. While feeling everything false until now.

But consciousness felt intense longing. After each time of rewind longing only increased.

Yet he understood he have never met her. Not even once somewhere even through some accidental reasons.

There is also no mention of someone similar to her and of this level of cultivation where chaotic energy can be absorbed directly through the pores of body.

Only person he even met was old dragon, but it is unknown to him if that dragon also have capability to absorb chaotic energy like her.

Soon woman turned back toward the way she came from.

Only after seeing this man woke up from daze and shouted

"Stopppp!..... "

His commanding word echoed throughout the universe.

But it never passed through the barrier.

Seeing this he understood his mistake and became anxious soon after.

He hesitated while woman kept going on her way.

Time later soon she once again crossed the distance enough to become slight blurry figure.

Man stopped his hesitation and with determined and hardened look on face stepped out of the barrier.

First few seconds nothing happened but he couldn’t move anymore as strength started draining away from him.

Soon his skin melted visibly while man felt the pain but couldn’t let out any word because of it.

With only sorrowful eyes he looked toward direction of the woman leaving.

He already surrendered any will to struggle, feeling his incapacity and only thought that, was he really so weak without aid of universal energy.

But consciousness inside soon made his move.

World became still around the area of the man. His skin stopped getting destroyed but didn’t also get healed.

Consciousness tried to push the flow of chaotic energy away while he succeeded at stopping it for few seconds.

But soon he failed the task successfully.

Chaotic energy is not controlled by anyone, yet it flowed naturally pushing his ability little by little until the man’s skin soon started melting and getting destroyed.

Consciousness still didn’t stop and kept trying to push it again with a burst of energy.

But it failed as the ability and his reserves has decreased in quality and quantity from first burst.

It slowing the melting process but didn’t stop this time.

In only few seconds speed of melting became faster again.

Try after try consciousness got drained both in ability and mentally.

But it kept at using his ability.

Soon man was almost a bag of skin and bones.

Unwillingness took over the consciousness as roared inside as if asking why did he failed. For so many billion years, so many trillion times he continued on through this painful torture of memory rewind.

Soon the consciousness also surrendered his will to fight again it.

As if awaiting for this exact moment soon a branch became visible in consciousness’s eyes as if he is in hallucination at right after his surrender.
