Chapter 72: Cht 72: Not My Memory

Wandering aimlessly, flying throughout space.

Passing through disappearing planets leaving behind.

A man looking around twenties, kept jumping through space while taking random directions from time to time.

Soon reached edge of universe.

’Sigh! same....

He spread his spiritual sense, covering distance beyond measuring.

Feeling no threat man took back spiritual sense and came at energy wall of universe with only finger distance and only observed other side of the universal wall.

Chaotic energy covering entire universe in a sphere.

Ahead trillion km of chaotic region on it’s end, another universal wall.

That side also silent, like all these years.

’Sigh!...

So many...

..... come!

For unknown amount of time he stayed still, never moving an inch, only silently watching quiet chaotic region. Just like he has been doing since years every few days.

He has no thoughts, no will nor heart to do what he has been doing throughout time immemorial.

Suddenly man thought he was hallucinating.

Outline of a figure suddenly became visible inside other side of universe through universal wall.

Man stood rotted in his spot dazed, only eyes fixed on outline of the figure.

Figure on other universe came infront of transparent energy wall and passed through it.

Seeing that man became thunderstruck and observed the hazy figure more intensively.

Other figure kept moving forward after entering chaotic region.

Following time later, after crossing distance of few billions that figure’s feature became little clear in man’s vision.

A woman back hair, dark eyes both like tide of blackhole sucking away all his distraction. Attractive appearance. Robe wearing just like her hair and eyes, as if made of blackhole itself. Absorbing all the light reflecting upon her.

Living embodiment of darkness.

Again man felt like all his life had been a lie until now, ’How is this possible! We guardians were informed there is no living existence similar to me or any of us in existence.’

At one point she stopped and absorbed the dense never decreasing chaotic energy around her.

Man kept observing her without batting eyes. Days passed, month passed just like this. Woman kept absorbing chaotic energy and man kept watching her without moving from his place even for a second nor turned his eyes from upon her for once.

Soon woman stopped absorbing and stayed afloat with eyes closed.

The man captured every little details in his memory without leaving anything.

Unknown fleeting time later she opened them and turned back toward the path she came from.

Seeing this man raised his hand toward her and shouted to stop but she didn’t hear them.

Man soon became aware of his mistake and looked at chaotic region. Noise won’t pass through the transparent wall.

He in somehow determined look passed his hand through the universal wall inside chaotic energy. Skin on hand started melting soon after passing with none of any changes at start for few moments. His expression kept changing between hesitation and willingness.

In between he looked at her and saw she has crossed quite a distance and has become little hazy figure again.

Seeing her keep going far from his eye’s reach, the man soon became determined and made the decision.

Still one hand outside of universal wall, he took two steps on imaginary food hold and passed through the energy barrier wall in one go. It has gone out of the head that he is floating and can just move himself with just a thought.

In exact moment man felt his strength draining away, becoming weaker with time.

Feeling helpless he watched as she became hazy outline until going back inside through the other universal wall. Engraving her in memory his vision darkened next moment.

Opening his eyes man aimlessly wandered around space, leaving behind stars, meteorites. Passing through blackhole while staying inside and resting for a moment as if it is his own backyard.

If blackhole had a soul to express itself, it may have cried for the injustice happening with it. Blackhole is like a crusher machine, an omnivore who eat anything and everything, leaving behind nothing. Not even a speck of dust or any micro of micro substance.

And here this man just used it like a free broken peice of wood on roadside to take rest for a moment and patrolled while spreading his spiritual sense.

Soon after not finding anything suspicious like usual he left after taking a small rest.

After travelling far distance soon he reached the end of universal wall. A transparent energy barrier that is shielding the universe from the chaotic energy on the other side of the wall from passing through inside.

’...

He just mumbled something in his head and kept watching the ever silent chaotic region through the transparent barrier.

Scene repeated itself,

A figure spotted at distant inside the barrier of universe at other side of the chaotic region.

Soon it was revealed that a woman, looking similer to his structure at which he gets dumbfounded.

Much time later the woman takes her leave after finishing her work. Unable to reach out to her from inside, he steps out of the barrier and looses his consciousness soon after in no time surrounded by endless chaotic energy.

Again next moment man finds his consciousness returned to the time of wandering around the space as if world just reversed back in time.

Man does the same things again this time, same actions, same movement, same dialogue, same thoughts.

Soon woman came and went back to her world unknown to herself that someone else was also watching her leaving-backside.

Man’s conscious ends the same way, unable to even affect his own actions. Like a broken puppet moving by itself on the set commands programmed by someone\something.

Again man goes back at point of wandering through space for tenth time.

Again.....

Again....

.....

Watching at the distant woman man surrenders his consciousness for the thousandth time.

At ’th time man goes back in time and is soon on his deathbed.

A voice, a consciousness deep within himself shouts inside

"This is not my memory....

and...

so painful..."
