Chapter 67: Cht 67: Returning The Favour To Aqua Monkeys

Large figure with young looking boy kept walking until reaching a tree shelter. Roughly crafted wooden walls from tree trunk with shade made of branches. Yet soil layer on inside walls is smooth and fine texture like some art of a craftsman.

Large teenager dropped the dead creature on trunk-floor from his shoulder while carefully placed the sack from his waist which was tied by a creatures long, thin tail like a cord. Even the sack looks like made from fur of a beast.

"Food" While rubbing belly he walked out again and came back with another pouch of oval shape as if some liquid is being carried inside and a sealed gourd made from earth element.

Sitting down on floor of shelter he tore quite big piece from the the beast with just one bite and took a mouthful of water from the gourd. Then another mouthful of the liquid inside the pouch.

"Yum-yum this water is really more tasty." He kept nodding in satisfaction while holding the pouch while taking bites from the beast and throwing fruits in his mouth, from the another pouch infront of him.

After a while in middle of his hearty meal, a phenomenon happened. A yellow energy glow appeared around him, teenager stopped eating seeing that.

His attitude took a swift turn from happy mood to serious face.

Putting everything aside he sat down to meditate outside the shelter, under open sky surrounded by wild trees.

Glow intensified with time as giant became bigger as his body expanded from energy coming from inside him. Force generating from the situation created a small vortex around with him as the center point. It also became bigger with rate of giant’s structure.

Eventually they both stopped stretching and stopped with loud bang and giant kept his eyes closed the whole time.

After few hours energy vortex burst like a bubble, silently without much disturbance throughout around the forest.

Giant teenager finally opened his eyes

"Wow! i became more bigger." he exclaimed seeing the trees only about double his height.

But next moment he immediately shrank and ran inside his wooden shelter.

Seeing food intact he felt relieved and more happier than his evolution just now.

"Haha nothing happened to food today!" Apparently disturbance from previous breakthrough have spoiled his food.

"Food food"

"Hungry hungry food."

While rhyming he went back to his meal again completely ignoring the benefits of breakthrough.

Somewhere else far away at lake below small mountain, surrounded by small-big cliffs from all sides.

Aqua monkeys playing around by tossing a captured beast from one monkey to another on trees growing inside lake.

A monkey tossed the vine-wrapped beast toward the tree at left.

But no one was there to catch it.

Monkey on the other tree got confused. Looking down vine-wrapped beast is floating silently on lake water. Vine is so tightly wrapped around, that beast can’t even struggle and use enough force to break it.

Monkey looked back to back at beast and top of tree.

After few seconds it went down, took the wrapped beast and went to another group to further torture it. Not even in mood to search for its companion.

In fact that monkey is still at top the tree but is being pinned down by someone.

A back haired female crouched on top of the tree pressing a blue monkey below it with her knee and holding its mouth from making any noise.

’Finally i am back, damn monkeys! Time to return the favour.’ She never uttered a word as not to disturb the other monkeys.

With one hand occupied holding it, she covered her other hand with flame and thrust from the the back of the monkey through the heart position.

After struggling for some time monkey finally breathed for last time.

Taking her hand back, she left it at there and hunted more careless and distracted monkeys. Cutting their numbers as much as can be before they become alert.

She didn’t take any corse as she doesn’t have any space storage artifact to keep them on her.

She kept killing them hidden, undetected until thirty seventh kill, monkeys took notice of their dead brethren.

Throughout the lake from tree to tree

kh ku ku, ka ka ka ka

gud gud...water splashing rhythm

Sounds echoed as monkeys searched for opponent beasts with vigilance.

Few monkey observed dead beasts but didn’t fully understand how they died as they are not at the level to be intelligent enough. only instinctively knows there is danger and it most likely would be another species assault. It normally happens, conflict between same breed because of resources and greed, let alone another species.

She has been observing everything from a tree top around corner of lake. She waited for right opportunity to act while also hoping for monkeys to let their guard down.

Monkeys kept searching aggressively everywhere for some time. Few even went underneath the water, though lake-water is not too deep. They are like scattered marbles in a rocky land, not being able to stay together after disrupted.

Taking opportunity of such mess she took down few more, completely detached from the batch and roaming around the corners of the lake. Using as less activity as possible, she made sure to not let sounds of her actions spread much distance.

Unfortunately she was eventually found as another monkey came from the tree beside, where she was holding the skull of the a monkey after separating it from the other portion.

"Ki ki ka ka"

Monkey made intense screeching sounds while gud gud....water splashing, beating its chest.

Watching this she didn’t engage with it in combat but ran at the other side on open line, not hiding anymore but waiting for them to gather together and chase after her.

She looked back from time to time while she kept moving forward ’their total number should have decreased enough for it to work.’

On her view came thirty to around forty monkey huddled together chasing after her. From time to time few even tripped from another one stepping on its leg.
