"Gu Jin! How could you have awakened that element?" Chu Hua wasn’t frightened. No! Her entire focus was on the element that Gu Jin had awakened.

Gu Jin frowned,

"I don’t even know this element."

Students: "..." I f*cking want this luck!

Teachers: "..." True is the saying ignorance is bliss.

Chu Hua: "..." I suspect that she is flaunting but I don’t have any proof!

Gu Jin turned to leave but just then a voice came,

"Aren’t you curious?"

Gu Jin almost wanted to curse at the person who now interrupted her, but when she saw an elderly person in front of her she turned silent.

"Child I could see your irritation, so I won’t tease you. The element which you have awoken is called Dark Fire."

"Dark Fire?" Gu Jin’s interest peaked.

Finally, someone who was going to tell her about her element, instead of staring at her like she was some monster.

Her impression of the old man improved.

It was then that she took a good look at the old man.

The old man was wearing a grey color rob with white clothes inside, he was bald, and his white beard reached till his chest.

His eyes were filled with wisdom and the amiable smile on his face could make anyone comfortable.

The old man said,

"Hm. However before I tell you about it, let me fix something that will be beneficial for you."

Gu Jin suddenly turned wary.

She always knew that no person would do anything without his own selfish in it.

The old man laughed when he saw Gu Jin’s wary expression, suddenly he snapped, and all the people who were stunned by the old man’s sudden arrival and Gu Jin’s element went into the daze.

"Let’s go to my office."

The old man then walked toward the office and Gu Jin hesitated for a minute before following him to the office.

Once in the office, Gu Jin realized that the old man was the principal of the Magic School.

"Please sit."

Gu Jin nodded her head and sat down.

Her guard was still up but after knowing that he could kill her with a single snap, yet he was still trying to talk with her, Gu Jin felt she could give it a try.

"Let me introduce myself. I am Principal Feng."

"Hello Principal Feng, I am Gu Jin." Gu Jin said politely.

Principal Feng looked at the tensed expression on Gu Jin’s face and laughed,

"Child, I won’t harm you. But I know that words can’t assure you. So I will directly jump to the main thing that you want to hear.

Dark Fire is a very special type of element. It comes under the category of the mutated element of Fire element.

Dark Fire is a mutation of the dark and fire element. A very rare combination and the most powerful combination. When you start learning spells, you will realize that all the people who have awakened fire element their fire is of orangish-red color provided they don’t have a soul seed. While yours will be of ocean blue, and slightly whitish."

Gu Jin was still not moved.

Principal Feng was impressed by how calm Gu Jin was and admired her in his heart, then he continued,

"Dark Fire is 5 times more powerful than fire element. Your fire will be so lethal, that it could burn elements like iron in 2 minutes."

So far impressive. Gu Jin thought.

Principal Feng continued,

"It will also have a Dark element spell that you could use, once you advance to Intermediate Level. However, the only problem is the resources."

Gu Jin closed her eyes she was expecting a greater limitation.

"Each element requires various resources, such as soul seed, domain, Mystic Seed, etc. A normal person with a fire element would have to compete with thousands of people to get such resources. But you on the other hand will hardly have any competition."

Looking at Gu Jin’s face Principal Feng continued,

"However even though you won’t have any competition, it is because there will be hardly any resources that your Mutated Fire Element wants and you will get.

You will either have to travel around the world to find the resources or make them on your own, which is a bit impossible."

Gu Jin asked,

"Is Dark Fire, a rare element?"

She understood that it was rare but how rare was it that there were almost no resources for it.

Principal Feng smiled and touched his beard,

"It is so rare that maybe in the entire country, only you are the one who has awakened this element. It is so rare that maybe in the entire world, only 4 to 5 people have awakened this Dark Fire.

It is so rare, that in the entire 400 years, only you are the one who awakened it in China."

Gu Jin was taken aback.

Finally, she asked,

"If it is so rare why did everyone know it?"

She had never seen the picture of this element in the book.

"Because of how everyone wants to have it."

Principal Feng stood up from his chair and took out a book from his shelves.

He passed the book to Gu Jin,

"Open page 45. Did you see the element, it was first awakened by a weak mage, at first everyone detested him thinking he had awakened some curse element, but later on when the mage started his cultivation, he realized that it was a fire element with the dark element in it too.

Gu Jin’s eyes stared at the blue ball that was surrounded by a black aura. It was Dark Fire.

She closed her eyes and looked at the Indigo mana.

Sure enough around the indigo man was a small blue ball with black gas around it. Just by looking at it, one can guess how dangerous it was.
