For some reason when Gu Jin heard the fourth rule, her heart skipped a beat.

The flashes of the dream started to appear in her mind. In her dream didn’t Long Yifan say that he was conducting a check?

Selecting departments in university was completely different than school.

Resources are openly distributed in the university as they are sponsored by major families. They do so to show the young talent youth their power. The wealthy families have a sole intention in their mind: To attract young talents.

The more high grade the university is, the more resources it receives from these wealthy families. The resources are distributed to students as a reward for an event or their performance.

This was also the reason why many students worked hard to get into Beijing University.

For her first element, Gu Jin opted for the fire department. She had two elements which were fire elements.

As for her second element, Gu Jin decided to train in the thunder department. It was a new element but it was powerful too!

For her minor, she opted for alchemy and magic seeker.

These were the professions she knew about the most and her business and future depended on these two professions.

After the boring inauguration was over, Gu Jin left immediately. She wasn’t very pleased with the attention she was getting and her heart was aching just at the sight of Long Yifan.

She needs to submit her choices by the day after tomorrow.

You, however, keep on mentioning that I like your fiance, is it fun? Are you truly insecure or are you trying to establish something?" Gu Jin took a step forward in Gu Aihan’s direction and stared at her coldly.

She remembered how Gu Jichun mentioned that Gu Aihan had ruined her reputation.

The anger in her heart reached its peak.

Gu Aihan’s face remained calm, in fact, she was happy that Gu Jin mentioned previous things, with an innocent expression she said,

"I may have loved your fiance before, but now I don’t. I may have a morally corrupt character, but I would never eye a man who already has some other woman in his heart.

Also, I did come to Beijing University but whether Mr. Long is here or not is not my concern. I strive to become a better version of myself, even if I have to confront my past to improve my past self, I would gladly do so.

Beijing University is a top university and only a fool would not opt for it if they have the potential to become strong."
