Looking at the burning car, the driver took out his phone and dialed a number,

Then the driver hung up the call and sneered looking in the direction in which the car exploded.

"When did I seduce someone?" A cold voice interrupted the driver.

The driver was stunned and turned his head, only to find Gu Jin.

"You...how did you escape?"

When she saw the driver taking out a button and extending his hand towards the door, Gu Jin hurriedly entered the space.

Since the driver jumped out directly, he didn’t get the chance to see that Gu Jin too vanished from the backseat.

He struggled, but the vines tightened their grip, immobilizing him.

"Who sent you?" she demanded again, her voice a deadly whisper.

The driver sneered, "You think I’ll tell you? Do your worst, mistress."

Gu Jin’s patience wore thin.

Why was he calling her mistress?

With a flick of her wrist, the vines constricted further, cutting off the driver’s breath. His eyes bulged with fear, and he gasped for air.

"Alright, alright!" he choked out. "It was... Mr. Long’s fiance. She wanted me to get rid of you."

Gu Jin’s heart sank.

It was indeed her.

Gu Jin took a deep breath and said,

"Why did she ask you to kill me? I didn’t even do anything to her!"

The driver struggled as he said,

"She..she said that you...you were trying to seduce her fiance! Cough! Cough!"

Gu Jin pursed her lips.

Was she?

She remembered how she harbored some thoughts about Long Yifan and sometimes...just sometimes flirted with her...

Was this called seduction?

Gu Jin thought that if she was Long Yifan’s fiance and some other girl was trying to flirt with him even after their engagement, she would definitely get angry.

She might not kill the other party but she(Gu Jin) would attack her for sure!
