Chapter 82: They stole humans?

"So, are we done here?" Elliana asked, and Glow stepped in front of her.

"Where are you going?" Glow signed at her, and Elliana narrowed her eyes.

"What do you mean where I am going? I am going to my house. I have to go back in time. I know you guys miss me. Let’s meet some other time," Elliana said.

"What about them?" Glow signed and pointed in a random direction.

Elliana narrowed her eyes and looked at Glow suspiciously.

"What do you mean by them? What is in there? Have you guys created something?" She asked, and Glow smiled at her in mischief.

"Don’t give me that look. You guys never cease to amaze me, and whenever you are doing that -" Elliana remembered something.

"By them, you mean humans?" Elliana narrowed her eyes.

"No way, you did that," Elliana looked at the women with wide eyes, and they nodded happily as if they did something great worth praising.

"Geez, why would you do something like that? I was just complaining to you. Why do you have to be so naughty? I swear you guys are getting out of hand these days," Elliana walked to the door and opened it slightly before peeking inside.

Damn! It was really what she didn’t want.

"What were you planning to do against them?" Elliana asked, and Glow took the initiative to come forward and explain everything to her.

"Well, we were hoping that you would come and teach them a lesson yourself. You said you couldn’t ask them who sent them or hired them because someone came and interrupted you, and they ran away. That’s why we captured them so that you can question them freely," Glow signed furiously and quickly, and Elliana massaged her head.

"I know what you did is for my benefit and because you guys love me so much and couldn’t bear it that someone bullied me again even after everything I went through, but that doesn’t mean I am not angry with you," Elliana murmured before turning to Glow and others.

"I don’t want you guys to indulge in anything that will risk your life. I didn’t train and employ you because I want you guys to do my dirty work. Please don’t risk your lives for me," Elliana sighed and looked at the door before pausing.

"Did anyone see you doing this? How did you even get them to come out and meet you? All five of them?" Elliana asked, and Glow chuckled awkwardly before looking away.

Elliana didn’t have a good feeling about it. Whenever they look away like this, it’s mostly because they have done something that will surely earn them some good scolding.

"Glow, I asked you a question. Nancy? Mary? Who is going to answer me? Because I want to know it, and I only want the truth, no lies or half-truths," Elliana looked at them sternly, and Nancy stepped forward.

"We stole them," Nancy signed, and Elliana felt like she read into the sign language wrong.

"I don’t think I got you correctly, Nancy. Glow, you tell me," Elliana looked at Glow.

"We stole them," Glow signed too, and Elliana narrowed her eyes before remembering all the sign language that she had learned.

The way their hands moved, and they put out twin fingers before pulling it towards themselves, it meant stealing only, right? Elliana looked at the girls before testing her words.

She didn’t want to hurt them, but she needed to know if she read into their language right.

"You guys stole them?" Elliana tested the words out of her mouth slowly, and Glow nodded shyly, making Elliana’s heart thump a little.

"What do you mean you stole them? Stole them from whom? Were they going somewhere, and you stole that car? Or you directly abducted them? You didn’t do anything more illegal than this, right?" Elliana asked, and the women looked at each other before nodding.

She took a deep breath. No. Right now wasn’t the time to get angry about anything. She needed to deal with this situation properly without hurting their feelings. Elliana needs to remember that they were just innocent vampires who were just trying to show their loyalty to her and nothing else.

They didn’t have any evil intentions, and they surely were not into illegal things like killing humans for fun.

Elliana looked at them with patience that Glow could see she was having a hard time maintaining and sighed.

"So.. uh... You didn’t kill anyone, right?" Elliana asked, and they shook their head, making her sigh in relief.

"Well, that’s a huge relief. Now tell me what exactly you guys did," Elliana finally asked.

"We stole them from the youngest vampire prince," they signed all together, and Elliana smiled.

She chuckled before breaking out into a burst of full-blown laughter. Everyone looked at their leader, who was laughing hysterically and smiled in triumph.

"Please tell me you guys are lying," Elliana said, her eyes tearing, but when none of them said anything, she bit her lips before looking around, unsure of what to do.

But wait. They stole them from him? Does that mean he was also taking the boys away somewhere? But where? And why the hell was it right after they bullied her?

Does that mean he knew about the bullying? But she didn’t even tell him a word about it. So how is that possible? He can’t know anything about it unless -

Unless he has someone spying on her. The constant feeling of someone following her and being watched over. As if someone was taking her irrespective of their intentions, it was all making sense now.

Maybe she was feeling like this all because he had someone tailing her constantly. But if that was the case, why has he not asked her anything about her powers and stuff? Or is it that the witches around her make sure that the spy or whoever it is is not able to see her magic? They can do that, right?

Everything was confusing her. Elliana looked at the boys that were bound to chains inside the room and took a deep breath.

If he knew about her bullying, the chances are, he might have talked to them and tried to find out the same truth she wanted to know, too, no?

Let’s go and find out. Elliana nodded at herself before opening the door of the room, ready to do some good questioning and probably avenge what they did to her.
