Chapter 496: Who came?

"But before telling you that shocking news, I wanted to shock you a little bit with something else. Talking about the remaining gift -" Elliana made a dramatic pause before smiling.

"It was bland," she said, looking straight into her husband’s eyes, her husband who wasn’t moving his gaze from her face as he looked at her with the same hope that was making her heart soft.

And if she had been like that earlier, she would’ve probably gone soft already, but not anymore. She didn’t want to go soft on him, not after he made her cry so much.

Elliana turned around and held the mic close to her mouth.

"It was quite bland for a crowning ceremony, no? I mean, where is the noise, where is the beauty of the fireworks?" Elliana grinned.

She turned around to face Sebastian, stepping forward until her face was almost an inch away from his as he stood still in his place, looking at her and doing nothing.

"How could I let my husband’s crowning ceremony be so bland and boring, hmm?" Elliana said before she stood on her tiptoes and leaned towards him.

"Boom!" She whispered in his ears, and everyone’s eyes widened when the sound of loud bangs echoed before they saw multiple fireworks going into the sky and exploding, looking at Elliana.

Had she gone to prepare all this?

"She cares for her husband so much -" Freya started but Elliana chuckled.

"Mom Freya, hold your horses, will you?" Elliana said before she stepped back from Sebastian, her gaze not moving from his as she raised her hand in the air.

"Fireworks don’t work well in the morning, no?" She tilted her head before she clicked her fingers.

Everyone in the area stood there surprised as out of nowhere dark clouds appeared making it dark.

"I will give you real fireworks. One that has a better sound system. Congratulations on winning the throne that you worked so hard for," Elliana said to Sebastian before she clicked another finger, and the thunderstorms appeared out of nowhere.

The lightning brightened the area before making it dark, just like how she wanted it. Soft pouring started and everyone started to move to take shelter in the venue while Sebastian and Elliana stood there, facing each other, unbothered about the rain.

Sebastian kept standing there. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

No one could.

Did she have some kind of connection with some witch who was doing this for her? Didn’t they hear those dark witches come to meet her? So maybe that was the case?

"Princess Elliana -" Ruth was the one who started this time but before she could say anything, Elliana smiled at Sebastian.

"Dear husband, you just said ’I don’t care if you are their daughter or not. You are my wife, and that’s all that matters for me,’ in front of everyone. Do you abide by your words now?" Elliana asked, closing her eyes as she stepped back until she was at the end of the stage, making use of Sebastian’s shocked state, basking in the sound of the thunderstorms created by her powers.

"Circe," Elliana whispered, and the powers immediately took over her, turning her eyes violet.

"Will you accept me now, Mr. Marino? This is something I found myself recently, but isn’t this cool?" She asked before opening her eyes with a mocking smile on her face.

"Princess, are you -"

"Daughter of the dark witch Princess. The one and only alive with the powers that can destroy entire clans and kingdoms," Elliana leaned back on one of the pillars and smiled.

"I am Elliana Minerva, daughter of Azura Minerva," Elliana announced to the world.

She was done hiding from everyone her identity when she should be proud of it now. If people wanted to claim her to be a dark soul, so be it. She wasn’t obliged to prove herself to anyone anymore.

Wild whispers started in the crowd and everyone looked at each other.

The royal family turned into a mess as they heard their so-called supposed-to-be human daughter-in-law was a dark witch, and not just some random dark witch, but the granddaughter of the witch who had cursed Sebastian’s mother and turned his life up and down.

"Now that I remember, she had signed the divorce agreement under the name Elliana Minerva, no? At that time I didn’t think much into it but now-" Prince Marcus trailed off.

Everything looked like a mess while the man in question just stood on the stage with his body frozen in shock.

It was as if he was having a hard time processing everything. No one knew how Sebastian was about to react to her revelation. Everyone knew his hatred for dark witches was unparalleled and -

"What did you say you are?" Sebastian’s eyes turned dark, pitch black, and they gulped, expecting the worst.

As much as they were shocked too, they still cared for the girl they had started to like, despite how she hid something so big from them.

"I said what you heard, Mr. Marino. Now you tell me. Are you ready to accept me as your wife? I am ready to stay here, and give you that second chance you were begging for earlier," Elliana didn’t flinch away from him and smirked, her own violet eyes turning back to the amber golden that everyone used to love so much.

"You -" Sebastian stepped ahead, but before he could move another step, the sound of the motorbikes going off resounded in the entire venue, and everyone turned towards the entrance from where around 20 motorbikes entered without a hindrance, all dressed in black with only gray wings on the costume.

Prince Santo, who had heard something about a gang with black wings going off in the kingdom that had challenged Sebastian’s security when they had kidnapped Princess’s tormentors from under his nose, widened his eyes.

"Please tell me they are not related to Princess Elliana too," Prince Santo said since their Princess was revealing things no one knew about her and the sudden appearance of these hidden people wouldn’t make otherwise sense.

Within a swift second, one of the women stood in front of Elliana, looking back at Sebastian with a warning glare as she placed her hand to protect her boss.

"Glow?" Even Elliana was shocked by their entrance.

This wasn’t in the plans. She just wanted to create some ruckus and disappear into thin air and never turn back towards this kingdom and have Mr. Marino lose his shit for some days in return for the heartbreak he gave her, but this -

Elliana looked at the girl, but to her shock, she was just glaring at Sebastian with an unhinged and unwavering glare.

Everyone was already having a hard time coming out from the shocking news that their daughter-in-law poured over them when Freya muttered something that no one had expected.

Something that took the ground from under their foot away. How could she not identify this woman standing on the stage?

"Ella? My daughter, Ella?" Freya hushed in disbelief, making Elliana look at Glow who took off her mask in front of everyone, revealing her face to the family, making them widen their eyes.

Realization dawned upon Elliana about what was going on.

’I had a daughter too. Unfortunately, she was mute and limp. For her betterment, we had sent her to the care center but something happened and the moon goddess took our daughter away from us,’ Elliana remembered Freya telling her this story.

Glow, the girl who was obsessed with her safety and presence and said she had devoted her life to her, was actually Freya’s first daughter, Ella, who was born mute.

’Do you seriously think you know your girls better, Elliana?’ It was a question Marcello had asked her.

Does that mean he knew?

Elliana turned back to the girl, saying the first thing that came to her mind.

"Why did you take my spotlight?" Elliana asked.

Glow -"..."

All her vampire team - "..."

The entire royal family - "..."
