Chapter 366 - 100 ways to kill someone

Chapter 366: 100 ways to kill someone

"Sir, we gathered some information from the telecom company and sent our men to the last location of the phone," Lucas started as soon as Sebastian jumped back onto his office’s balcony.

He was confused, as to why the prince would pull a stunt like that but didn’t say anything as a matter of fact.

The last time he jumped from here was when the princess had just arrived and they thought she was committing suicide when she wanted to sit on that concrete railing.

"Hmm..." Sebastian hummed vaguely before walking to his table and pulling out a while from his drawer.

"However, when they went there -" Lucas started but Sebastian’s words cut him mid-sentence.

"No one was there. It was almost as if no one ever lived there," Sebastian completed his sentence, making the subordinate freeze in his place.

"Yes, sir, but how did you -"

Sebastian scoffed.

How did he know? Well, because he knew something like that would happen and also because he eavesdropped on his wife a few minutes ago.

"I overheard princess," Sebastian didn’t elaborate on how he ’overheard’ his wife, but Lucas who connected the dots on how he jumped down from the balcony and then returned when he could’ve used the door, immediately understood how his prince did that.

The subordinate bit the inside of his cheeks to hide his smile.

Sebastian raised his gaze to Lucas before rolling his eyes. He knew what his subordinate was thinking.

"Honestly, I eavesdropped. Don’t you think it’s amazing? The youngest vampire prince who can have any information from his men now resorted to eavesdropping on his wife," Sebastian said after a long pause.

"It only means he can go to any lengths when it comes to her," Sebastian added with a glint in his eyes.

Lucas - "..." Isn’t this the finest kind of delusion his prince was showing these days? The subordinate nodded at himself.

But was he going to correct his prince and bring him out of his delulu land? Lucas shook his head at himself. He would be damned if he did anything like that.

"What else did you find?" Sebastian asked as he flipped the pages of the reports that Harry gained about the rogue vampires.

"Not much, sir. However, there’s something that I find extremely weird. This number that called Princess today was issued only two days ago. And this is not the first time it’s happening. The princess gets calls from new numbers quite often, and when we tried calling those numbers, all of them were out of service," Lucas said.

Sebastian paused in his actions before humming.

It was clear what was going on.

"It means the girls, whoever they are, buy a sim card to contact Princess, talk to her, or say whatever they want and discard that sim card after some time so that no one can trace them. They are professionals in the field.

No wonder no one has been able to trace their information no matter how many background checkups we did on the Princess," Sebastian commented before looking at Lucas.

"But we got to find them. I can’t have any other person, male or female obsess over what’s mine. I shall gouge every eye that falls on my wife and try to take her away from me. It’s my duty as a filial husband," Sebastian’s words made Lucas look down at his feet.

Filial husband? More like filial obsessed devil who didn’t want to share his toy with anyone.

Meanwhile, in her room, Elliana closed her eyes as she sat in the middle of the bed to meditate and make up for all the time she lost and wasted.

Nathaniel had warned her against it.

She shouldn’t lose her streak and meditate for at least one hour per day.

Elliana took a deep breath, feeling a weird glow in her mind.

’Circe, what can I really do if I want to?’ Elliana concentrated on her powers.

This was what the dean and Nathaniel had told her to do. Since her powers were slightly more special than others and were taking a form and had a personality of their own, she should talk to them from time to time and indulge them in her daily life so that she could form a good connection with them.

"What exactly do you want us to do, Princess?"

Elliana heard the same voice in her head with extra softness, which she was sure the powers were using to prevent her from getting scared of them.

"It’s just a general question. What can you do?" Elliana said, feeling a bit weird talking to herself.

"Well, we can kill someone in more than 100 ways. It ranges from killing someone by snapping their neck with a flick of fingers to melting their body into nothingness," Circe answered.

Elliana’s body shuddered at the first thing her powers could think of. They were really important to control.

Nathaniel wasn’t joking when he said her powers could wreak havoc. She sighed and was about to interrupt them and say she wasn’t talking about just the killing part when the powers started again.

"There are many ways actually. We can go easy by just cracking the neck bone or spinal cord, bursting some veins and arteries and no one would know until he/she coughs blood.

We can turn the bones into dust and make their intestines and other organs mush, taking their life, or maybe twist their body at different angles like a rope.

There is one that we would love, making people bleed from all the holes at once, nose, ears, mouth, eyes and you know.

Make thousands of daggers stab a person endlessly. Or make someone vomit their own intestines? Well, that’s kind of gross and you might not like it. The chopped-one idea was good too. There is a method that we love -"

The more Elliana heard them describing what they could do, the more she realized what kind of evil energies were locked inside her and she gulped.

Her expression faltered and she struggled to keep her face from giving away her grimace.

She hated it. The idea alone of what her body can do to someone and take someone’s precious life was heart-wrenching.

She has killed in the past, but for good reasons only and all of them were severe offenders, but - what if she ends up killing someone innocent? Will she ever be able to live with that?

She would rather choose to kill herself than live with that kind of guilt.

Elliana really feared what her powers would really do if they got out of control.

Everything around her felt like it was slipping from right between her hands like sand. And she felt tired.

Everything needed control and even the slightest loss of it was like risking her entire life that she worked so hard for.

She didn’t want any of this. As good as her powers were, she didn’t want that. She just wanted to be loved. But with everything going around her, it felt like the person who actually cared for her would be taken away from her all because of these powers.

She smiled awkwardly at Circe’s proud voice and cleared her throat.

"T-that’s great. I wouldn’t have to think about my protection ever. After I reveal my secret to the world, you can always protect me," Elliana stuttered.

"You bet. Not only will we protect you, but we will also give your tormenters a death that even their souls will remember. However, there is one downfall of our powers -" Circe paused, and Elliana was about to ask them what it was when her phone vibrated, breaking her meditation.

She narrowed her eyes.

She already talked to Glow and Marcello, who could it really be?

Elliana extended her hand towards the nightstand and noticed it was none other than her father.

"Father," she picked up her phone, and the man on the other sighed and took a deep breath.

"How are you doing, my dear?"

"I am doing fine. Ummm.. Is everything okay? You called at this time..." Elliana let the sentence trail off, and the king of the hunter bloodline looked at his wife who nodded at him encouragingly.

"Yeah, honey. Has your husband not gotten time? We wanted to see you. It’s been so long and you haven’t visited the palace even once after your marriage," The King said.

Elliana stood from her place, walking to the balcony of her room.

"The crowning ceremony is near. He is working hard for it. I don’t think he will get the time to take me there," Elliana answered.

"Well, you can try asking him, right?" James suggested.

"I will try asking him, father. How are you doing? Have you found anything about mother and -"

"That’s great. Let’s talk when we meet, honey. Have a good night," her father ended the call without answering anything regarding her mother.

Elliana sighed.

What did she expect? This has been going on for so many years. She shook her head and looked into the deep forest, a chill running down her spine when she felt someone watching her from those deep trees.
