The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 349: Vincenzo’s outburst

Chapter 349: Vincenzo’s outburst

"Princess, open your eyes, please," Sebastian clasped his hand around her hands, grabbing them between his before he placed his forehead onto them.

"You are seriously one of the most accident-prone girls I have ever met in my entire life. How come you attract trouble your way like a magnet?" Sebastian whispered to her as he sat in the backseat of his car.

He kissed her hands to calm his raging heart that wanted to bring those vampires back to life and kill them once again until even their souls know and remember nothing more than pain and suffering for hurting his girl.

"Ambrose, have your skills rusted? Drive faster," Sebastian growled, and the man immediately accelerated even more.

Sebastian turned Elliana’s body slightly and pulled her up so that he was hugging her close to his heart.

He was afraid that the high speed might end up jerking them, and he didn’t want her to get hurt in any way or get startled if she opened her eyes in between.

"Everything is going to be fine. I won’t leave you alone or without my men ever. This time was a mistake on my part, and I would be damned if I ever repeated this mistake. I can’t lose you," Sebastian’s voice was barely above a whisper that wasn’t audible to even the vampires sitting in the front seat.

But his wavering gaze and emotions were well felt by Lucas and Ambrose who felt bad for their princess.

Her wound on the neck was quite deep. And though she drank quite a plenty of the prince’s blood, it wasn’t healing as much as they had thought. Maybe it was because she was a fragile human, and they function differently from vampires.

"Nothing will happen," Sebastian rocked her back and forth, unsure if he was comforting her or himself.

He had wrapped his handkerchief around her neck already to control the bleeding, but it didn’t look like it was working anymore.

He grounded his teeth before looking at her.

"Do you remember, I told you that I would introduce you to the world, to every important vampire who would attend the annual ball tomorrow? Tomorrow was your official introduction as Sebastian Marino’s wife. You were excited about it too, right? Why are you doing this? Do you want to go there like this?" Sebastian asked her, cupping her cheeks.

"Was it all because of a blue dress? Heck, I will fill your wardrobe with blue dresses.

Was it because I wanted to see you in blue? Damn! You look pretty in everything you wear. Don’t you get it? Stupid woman!" He said, looking out of the window again, wanting to do anything to have her open her eyes, look at him, and tell him that she was fine.

Lucas looked at his panicking prince and smiled softly while looking out of the window.

It wasn’t funny.

In fact, it was breaking his heart too. All those words the prince was saying, all the words that the Princess had said to him about living for their prince and whatnot, everything was heart-shattering, but the realization that dawned upon him was indeed worth smiling.

No matter how much these two deny it now, they were attached to the red thread of fate that wouldn’t let them leave each other’s side.

They probably don’t realize it now, but their presence was enough for each other. It wasn’t just care. It was a power bigger than that, and it would be less painful for both of them if they realized it sooner than later.

Lucas sighed before closing his eyes. He felt like an elderly man who could die a happy man now that his grandson was married.

As soon as Sebastian saw the hospital arriving, he didn’t even wait for the car to completely stop, he rushed out of the slowing car, making Lucas and Ambrose look at him in horror, as he practically ran towards the ER ward.

The doctors were already alerted about the situation, and they were ready to take care of the royal Princess who was arriving in the most dangerous prince’s hand now.

"Princess, I am here. Don’t be afraid. Okay? I won’t ever let anything happen to you," Sebastian looked at her one last time before the doors closed, and he banged his hand on the wall in frustration.

He wanted to be there for her. He wanted to hold her hand and keep talking to her so she knew he was there for her.

Sebastian paced around restlessly, unsure of what to think to distract himself from Princess’s unconscious state because it was only making him want to knock the door open and grab the doctor’s neck until she was conscious.

Vincenzo and Stephano, who also heard the news and were in a meeting in the nearby building about the safety on the eastern coast, rushed inside the hospital.

"How is she? What happened?" Vincenzo immediately looked towards the closed doors. His eyes softened and his heart skipped a beat.

Glory.

After more than a year, he finally found her and was ready to take care of her, just like he had promised her and himself, but look at her, how easily she was getting into such life-threatening troubles.

He looked at the girl lying on the hospital bed while the doctors walked around her, checking her body. Her face was completely pale, as if someone drained the life out of it, and his heart clenched painfully.

"She will be fine," Sebastian said in his calm voice.

Vincenzo glared at him.

How could he? How could he say so calmly that she would be fine?

Vincenzo couldn’t believe that this was the same guy who so daringly spoke about loving her and now acting as if the person on the bed was some normal human.

"The heck she will be fine. Why the hell did you leave her alone in the first place? Have you forgotten your brains at the palace? You were on a call? Were those calls more important than her life? Oh, how can I forget, your throne and the madness for it is more important than a life, right? If you can’t care for her, just say so! I will gladly take her under my wings!" Vincenzo growled at Sebastian, holding his collars.

To say it was surprising would be an understatement.

The words he was saying were not only degrading to Sebastian as a husband but to Elliana too as he was talking about her like she was some kind of shared commodity.

Marcus and the other brothers along with Scarlet, Freya, Noah, and Abramo also rushed to the hospital, only to see this horrifying scene in front of them.

"Vincenzo! Have you lost your mind?" Noah was the first one to glare at this son, and Vincenzo looked away.

He wasn’t ashamed of what he said. He was too worried about his only friend to care about anything the elders would think of him or something like that.

"I am not ashamed of what I am saying. Did you hear what exactly happened? This b*stard left his wife among the vampires alone because he had to call a Dutchess about the throne votes. It’s almost equivalent to leaving a bleeding lamb between the wolves," Vincenzo glared at Sebastian to get some kind of reaction from him.

However, to their surprise, Sebastian gently removed his hands from his collars and turned back to the door.

Like a statue, he kept looking at the girl through the small circular glass window on the door.

There was no expression on his face as to what was going on inside his head, but his calmness was strange for everyone.

If it had been the Sebastian they knew, he would’ve thrown Vincenzo on the ground and threatened to plunge out his organs because Vincenzo talked about taking something that belonged to him.

If it had been the Sebastian of previous times, he wouldn’t have been standing so calmly when Vincenzo grabbed his collars.

Freya looked at their father-in-law, Abramo, the realization clear in everyone’s eyes.

This human girl was indeed changing their youngest prince.

Sebastian crossed his hands behind him as he looked at the way the doctors were wiping the blood from her body.

The nurse came and put on the curtain in front of the peeping window, probably because they were about to wipe the blood from the regions that others shouldn’t see.

Sebastian clenched his hands.

He hated the idea of someone other than him seeing his woman, but he was sensible enough to know that the doctor and nurses were only doing their jobs.

He might look calm and collected on the outside to others, but only his heart knew what kind of strange and mysterious turmoil was brewing in it. It was almost as if he wasn’t able to breathe anymore. Like someone snatched the last oxygen cylinder from him and now he was gasping for air.

Sebastian looked at the door before looking at Lucas and nodding at him in clear indication.
