Chapter 302: She is bleeding and not healing

Chapter 302: She is bleeding and not healing

"Sir, we have found something about the scent that was illegally spread in the black market these days," Lucas walked to Sebastian as they sat inside the car.

Marcus and Stephano had already left earlier after Sebastian threatened them that he would complain to the grandpa that they were causing a ruckus in the university.

"What is it?" Sebastian asked, and Lucas turned around before giving a small bottle to his Prince.

"The reason we weren’t able to find the new chemical constitution was because they were supplied in a branded container this time. It almost looks like a perfume sold by those legal companies, but it’s the scent-hiding spray," Lucas explained.

Sebastian observed the bottle in his hand, a smirk appearing on his face when he noticed how familiar it looked.

It was so familiar, just like how he had gotten familiar with his wife’s thighs. Was it strange that this perfume was always present on his wife’s thigh strap?

She had once told him about her obsession with light perfumes and scents. That’s why he didn’t find it suspicious. Many girls use such straps to hold something when they don’t want to carry it around the purse or bag always.

For some girls it was their favorite mascara or lipstick, some use daggers while his wife uses that strap to hold the little perfume bottle.

However, the thing in his hand was quite big. Hers was barely the size of the little finger.

"Lucas,"

"Yes, sir,"

"What are the chances of humans knowing about this scent-hiding perfume and using it daily? Have you encountered any such humans?" Sebastian asked, his gaze shifting out of the window towards the University.

"I haven’t met anyone so far, sir," Lucas answered honestly, but Sebastian just chuckled darkly.

"Now that’s a lie that you don’t even know about," Sebastian didn’t elaborate any further.

"What is in the file? The file I saw you hiding as soon as Stephano and Marcus showed up at the office," Sebastian asked.

"That, sir, we have finally found some information about the person who might be the one behind all these constitutions. Now it would’ve become easier for us if we had gotten a proper name or face. But it’s only said that the deal happens between Marcello and other such Dukes, and a person who goes around with the name of a capital letter G," Lucas said.

Sebastian hummed.

G... he couldn’t think of any person whose name started with G. But then again, it could just be a random letter used to hide one’s identity.

"Keep searching. We must find this person before next month. The real competition for the throne would start soon. We only have 13 days left," Sebastian said, his gaze shifting back to the bottle in his hand.

How would Princess really react if he gave this scent to her? Will she be shocked? Shocked because he found out she had been using a scent-hiding spray, or would she be shocked because she didn’t know anything about it? Just like all the things she is oblivious to.

He took a deep breath and fished out his phone. He didn’t see his Princess after the terrace incident. She was quite flustered when Stephano and Marcus almost walked on their moment. She didn’t even come down to have lunch. Was she that embarrassed to face everyone?

Sebastian dialed Elliana’s number. However, when she didn’t pick up even after three times, he narrowed his brows. He called the dean to ask where she was, casually exploiting his powers once again.

"Hello, this is the dean of the biotechnology department. What can I -"

"Where is she? I can’t reach her," Sebastian said, and the dean didn’t need to be told twice who this person was and he sighed.

"Sir, she left for the palace. I thought she had left with you," the dean said.

Sebastian’s eyes narrowed, and he ended the call before he dialed the landline of the palace.

"Hello, this is -"

"Is she home?" He asked.

"Yes, sir. Princess arrived one hour ago," Miss Zoya said.

Sebastian’s brows twitched. Was she really that embarrassed that she ran away to the palace?

"Did she say something?" He asked, looking out casually.

Miss Zoya who thought that the prince probably knew what the princess was going through immediately hummed.

"She said she didn’t want her blood to make everyone uncomfortable," Miss Zoya’s words confused him even more.

Her blood scent? The last time he checked, he had healed her. So what kind of scent were they talking about?

"But how is that possible? I had healed her," Sebastian said absentmindedly.

Miss Zoya blushed scarlet as she imagined their prince going down on the princess when she was bleeding from down there. Was it really -

’oh my god, my brain needs to be washed with the holy water,’ She thought before clearing her throat.

"I am sorry, sir. I don’t understand. How can you heal her? That’s practically impossible," Miss Zoya chuckled awkwardly.

"It’s not impossible. I did it so I know," Sebastian said before pausing.

He was about to ask if she got any other would, and that was the reason she rushed to the palace when Miss Zoya started again.

"Sir, I am a woman. I know. You can’t heal her when she is bleeding so much and it won’t stop. The blood won’t stop. It doesn’t act that way," Miss Zoya practically growled embarrassed on the phone.

Sebastian, who didn’t understand the full context of her sentence narrowed his brows.

He only heard selective words. Bleeding so much. Won’t stop. Won’t heal.

"If she is bleeding so much? Have you called the doctor? And why the hell did no one tell me anything about it?!" Sebastian growled in the phone before he urged Ambrose to rush to the palace.

Miss Zoya didn’t understand what was going on.

"What would a doctor do, sir? It’s natural for -"

"Shut the damn up, Miss Zoya, and call the doctor. Don’t make me lose my temper," Sebastian snarled before he ended the call, throwing his phone on the backseat.

Ambrose could practically feel the tension in the backseat, and he gulped, accelerating even more.

"Is the Princess okay, sir?" Lucas asked, and Sebastian closed his eyes.

"Don’t fucking ask anything from me. My wife is bleeding there, and I didn’t have a fucking idea about it. So unless you want me to unalive half of the mansion, you better stay quiet because I would start with you. Why didn’t you know she got wounded so badly that her blood isn’t stopping?" Sebastian said in his strained voice, his jaws ticking because of all the anger he felt.

Lucas gulped, immediately shutting his mouth, hoping it wasn’t something severe. But if she hasn’t stopped bleeding, it has to be something serious. No? He sighed.

Meanwhile, in the witch school, Elliana looked at the back of the man who walked out of the room and looked at Nathaniel.

"Why did he leave? He is still angry because of what happened last time?" She asked.

Nathaniel, who knew why he left, suppressed his urge to smirk and shook his head.

"Don’t worry. He will come around,"

"But I want him to help me with this. He looks like a good uncle. Please call him back," Elliana asked.

Nathaniel chuckled awkwardly.

He didn’t know if that good uncle would like to volunteer this time.

"Why don’t we just get this over with?" Nathaniel asked, but seeing her pout and blink her eyes like that, Nathaniel pinched the bridge of his nose.

He clicked his fingers, and the dean who was walking back into his office immediately appeared in the room, looking around, confused.

"She wants the good uncle to volunteer," Nathaniel smirked, and Elliana blinked at him innocently as if she was nothing more than a cute pretty girl.

But the dean who has had a good experience with her sighed.

Dean- "..." why even when I don’t want to participate, I am being forced into it?

What kind of situation was this? He walked out just because he didn’t want to volunteer.

And now he can’t do anything that would offend her either. Her powers won’t allow that and take it easily.

"Umm, if that’s what you want, would you like to have some kind of duo with any of the teachers?" The dean asked, and Elliana looked at Nathaniel.

Her eyes silently asked him if she was allowed to do that, and if it was a good idea or not.

"That’s not a good idea," Nathaniel said.

"I agree, sir. What are you doing making a fifth-grade girl battle with ninth-grade teachers? Do you want her to die? From what I can see, she doesn’t even belong to the fifth grade," one of the teachers said, and the dean gave them a tight-lipped smile.

Dean - (you stupid people, why don’t you try a battle with her and find out yourself if she is deserving or not?) He sighed, clearly not saying these words aloud.

"How about you give her a spell and then see the intensity of the damage she can do with it?" Nathaniel asked, and the teachers nodded.

"Fair enough. Can she use fire?" The teacher asked.

"Let’s not go with the fire one," Nathaniel said immediately, remembering what she did last time.

"Then what about water?"

"It will have the highest damage and will be noticed by the other species easily. We don’t want to disrupt other’s lives," Nathaniel countered.

"Environment?"

"It will rain and -"

"Then why don’t you tell us Prince Nathaniel, what should she do? We are going nowhere like this and just wasting our time," the teachers were starting to get impatient.

Elliana didn’t like the way this teacher was talking to Nathaniel again and again, and her mood started to change from mischief to anger immediately.

"You, I would like to battle with you. If I stay in the field for even one minute, you can know that I am strong enough to study in this school, and if I fall before that, you win and I won’t study here," Elliana said confidently, unsure where this idea of battle came to her from.

"Elliana, this is not good -"

Nathaniel started. He wasn’t worried about the girl, rather he was worried about the teacher who was looking at her a bit too smugly.

"I agree," the teacher smirked.

This will be a good way to test what kind of disciple this mixed-breed prince has brought this time.
