Chapter 288: Will you teach me?

"Where is your Princess Miss Zoya?" Sebastian asked as soon as he entered the dining room to ask the chef if he would like to take up the gig of food handling with the royal chef in the annual ball that was only a few days away now, and Miss Zoya, who was placing some fruits in a plate, looked up.

"She is in the library, sir," Miss Zoya answered.

"The library? Hasn’t she gone there two hours ago?" Sebastian thought out loud before looking at the plate in Miss Zoya’s hands.

"You must be bringing them to the princess," he said, and when Miss Zoya nodded he took the plate from her hands.

"I’ll give it to her," Sebastian said before he started walking towards the library, pausing when he suddenly heard his phone vibrating.

"Hello?" He said, continuing his walk toward the library.

"It’s confirmed, sir. The sirens left," Harry said.

"Did our men find anything about why they might have taken this risk?" Sebastian asked, his strides low and steady.

He was in no hurry to meet his Princess. He has observed the issue lately that whenever he was in the house, all he wanted to do was be with her which was purely a problem to his target.

That’s why he decided to control these urges so that he could focus on the important matter because this human girl was here and still alive, to get the throne.

"No, sir. It’s hard to find who were the vampires helping the sirens. If you allow us, we can abduct a few people and interrogate them," Harry said, and Sebastian hummed thoughtfully.

"Leave it. The sirens would be returning. There’s no way they came all the way here and took such a big risk just for something minuscule like enjoying the land. It can’t be a coincidence that they left immediately after I paid a visit to the nearby areas," Sebastian turned around the corridor.

"You mean they have other important tasks at hand and would be returning to accomplish them," Harry said, and Sebastian hummed again.

"Ask our spy team to be there and keep a look out at everyone and just anyone suspicious. Some of the sirens can easily mask their scent and characteristics.

Judging from what others told us, it looks like they are trying to find someone.

And it’s definitely not a siren. Keep the entire team who is investigating this situation in the circle of what is happening at the coast," Sebastian ordered before he ended the call as soon as he neared the library.

It wasn’t hard to locate her in this enormous library. Her soft humming was like a song calling out to him, telling him where she was.

The first thing he noticed was Princess’s exposed legs as she was lying on the ground on her belly while moving her foot up and down as she read some kind of book.

Around seven to eight books were sprawled on the ground, all open on different pages.

Seeing her so concentrated as she read the text from one book was mesmerizing. She would grab a random book, read the text, and then put it back before reading the book in her hand.

From what he could see, they looked like chemical constitutions and formulas for some kind of herbs. As far as he remembered, this book she was reading didn’t belong to his library and neither was it a part of the University’s curriculum.

Did she go out to buy a new book? She was quite serious about her passion of working in the laboratory, wasn’t she?

As he neared her, standing right behind her, his gaze moved back to her exposed legs, his throat immediately becoming dry.

She really has no shame whatsoever. All these tables and chairs and yet she is more comfortable on the ground.

What if it had been someone else? Then again, no man was allowed to be near her apart from Lucas. But if it had been Lucas, he would’ve had to gouge his eyes out. The poor guy wouldn’t have liked it. Sebastian shook his head at the negative thoughts.

"You say you are not naughty, but then you go around exposing your flawless skin to me like this. Are you sure you are not tempting me?" Sebastian asked, and like a thief caught stealing, she shook in her place, closing the books and hiding some weird papers that were underneath them that he hadn’t noticed earlier.

"Mr. Marino, w-what are you doing here?" She quickly sat, her action of shifting the book and the papers behind her back not going unnoticed by him.

"Fruits," he extended the plate towards her, and she smiled awkwardly.

"Thanks," she extended her hand to take the plate, but rather than handing it to her, he sat down beside her, his gaze shifting to the papers behind her back, and Elliana quickly hid them even more.

"So... what are you studying?" Sebastian asked, and she immediately sighed.

"Some formulas and herbs to create a new perfume that I might like. I want to have a new one now," Elliana said, saying only half the truth.

What she hid was that this perfume wasn’t some scent, it was a de-scenting liquid she wanted to prepare with no after smell, and an even stronger and advanced version of it.

She had tried using the herbs in their natural form without much adulteration, however, it had an awful smell rather than what she was expecting.

"Your exams are also nearing, right? How is preparation going?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana looked at her feet like a naughty kid.

Sebastian found her little action cute and bit the inside of his cheeks to stop his smiles.

Now that he was wearing a half-face mask, hiding his smiles from her was becoming a task these days.

"That’s not the answer I am looking for," he said, and Elliana huffed loudly, one of those exaggerated sighs.

"Mr. Marino, were you a good student? I might need some help in physics," Elliana blinked at him, and he looked at her with a sigh.

"Do you think I have that much time on my hands?" He asked.

He only wanted to tease her a little, but he hadn’t expected her to nod in return.

"I am sorry. How can I forget my husband is not just any random man? He is the next-in-line king," Elliana smiled.

Sebastian liked the words that came out of her mouth.

He was about to tell her that he would teach her in his free time when she started speaking again, "I will just ask Alcinder to help me with it. You know the council’s head’s son, right? He is one of the best and the topper of his year. I am sure he will help me when I’ll -"

She couldn’t complete her sentence because, in the next moment, Sebastian held her hand and pulled her on his lap, forcing her legs around his torso, a position that he has started to like quite a lot these days. It makes him feel close to her heart, and well... every part of the body that he wants to pleasure.

"How dare you take another man’s name in front of me? You’ll ask him for help? Have I been too lenient with you?"

Sebastian’s ego took a blow and his devil side surfaced again, making Elliana raise her brows when he wrapped his left hand around her waist and pulled her close, the friction on her womanhood because of her panties rubbing on his pants, making her gasp.

"Mr. Marino, that’s not what I meant. What I meant to say was -"

"Mr. Marino!" Elliana shouted in surprise when he suddenly grabbed her nipples between his teeth, right from above her dress, making her gasp and gulp.

"You were saying something? Continue," Sebastian flattened his palm on her back, pulling her even closer.

Elliana was surprised and shocked at his sudden roughness.

Then again how the hell did he know her nipple was exactly at that place? Her dress wasn’t even translucent and she was wearing a cotton padded bra so -

Wait. That wasn’t even the important part. The important part was how he was trying to shift his hand behind her to grab the papers.

Elliana’s eyes widened when she realized what he was doing.

"Mr. Marino, we were talking about studies and -"

"I am studying too. Studying what kind of action gets a particular reaction from my wife," He said, and Elliana licked her bottom lips as a shaky moan left her mouth when he bit her nipples a little roughly, slightly rubbing his tent on her womanhood, which was only covered with her panties, which she could feel were soaking wet now.
