"Are you okay?" Everyone looked at the man whose glass slipped, and he nodded at everyone awkwardly.
"I am sorry for breaking the flow of the story. Please continue," he said, eager to know more.
"So you are saying that the king knew that you went there, and he let his wife, who was also your cousin, throw you out of the palace? After doing everything with you?" The old lady asked, and the lady beside the counter hummed.
"Isn’t it funny though, aunt? I always felt wrong my entire life. It took me a month to finally locate who was the person I slept with. That cousin of mine got married only ten days ago before I found him. He was mine first. Shouldn’t I have the first right on him?" The lady slurred, drowning another glass of beer.
The bartender looked at the pitiful lady and took a deep breath.
"Miss, I think you have had enough already. Where is the place you are staying at? I’ll call a cab for you," the bartender said, and she scoffed.
"You don’t need to pity me. Huh, it’s been a long time since I told my story to someone. The last time I told my story to someone, they took my baby," she slurred.
"Your baby?" Everyone who had quietened and went back to what they were doing, looked at the girl with curious eyes.
"Yeah. I had gotten pregnant that night. And why wouldn’t I be? It was a passionate night for us, and I don’t remember him using any protective measures," the lady smiled in disdain.
"You even had the king’s baby. Why didn’t you go back to the kingdom and tell him about it?" The old lady was practically roaring now.
The lady swirled her glass, looking at the beer with a thoughtful look.
"They threw me out without a second thought. What were the chances they wouldn’t have wanted my baby dead too?
My baby had the first right to be called a royal, but she turned out to be nothing more than a stain to everyone. My daughter, my little princess was left with nothing but a black spot in her life," she said, and the man who had been listening to her intently since earlier gulped.
Everything seemed to be fitting. This lady in front of him said that she had a one-night stand with the king of the Hunter’s bloodline.
Judging from her age, it’s only possible that she had a one-night stand with the current king. Doesn’t it mean that the person she is talking about, the king of the human hunter bloodline, the father of Elliana Heart is the man she slept with?
Doesn’t that mean she is the mother of Elliana Heart? The person everyone has been looking for for so long?
The man widened his eyes, his hands trembling as he itched to tell this news to his boss.
He took out his phone sneakily, dialing his Boss’s number as he waited for him to pick up so that he can’t give the good news to him. The woman was finally found.
"Stop calling your daughter a black spot. That poor child wasn’t responsible for what happened between you guys. That poor innocent soul should have never been brought between this mess you guys created," The old lady shouted, and the lady smiled.
"You are right, aunt. You are right about that. My daughter shouldn’t have been brought into this mess," the lady closed her eyes before tilting her head backward to face the ceiling.
"My daughter didn’t deserve that kind of life. She was not at fault. And as a mother, I couldn’t bear to give my daughter a life where she would be called a b*stard and illegitimate," she murmured.
"You see, she was the prettiest baby I had laid my eyes on when she was born. When I looked into her eyes, for a moment I thought I would be able to live my life with her support. However, that thought soon left my mind.
That little bastard reminded me of that one night I hate with a passion. She looked beautiful like an angel, but in reality, she was a devil. A devil that reminded me of my dark past," the lady’s eyes turned maniacal before she stood from her place and walked to the old lady.
She sat close to the old lady, holding her wrinkled hands in her.
"When others saw her and found she was born out of wedlock, do you know what they called her? They called her a bastard. I hated it. Though she was a devil for me, how can someone call an angel like her a bastard?" she pouted with her lips puckered out.
She grabbed the glass the old lady was drinking from and swirled it before looking at it with hunting eyes.
"And that’s why to get her out of that god damned life that I gave to her, I sacrificed her. I killed her with these hands," she raised her hands and started laughing maniacally, making everyone gulp.
"I killed my child with my fucking hands. Can you believe that? Hahahhaha...." The lady chuckled loudly, and the man who was waiting for his boss to pick him up froze in his place.
"Hello?" His boss picked up, and he gulped.
"H-hello?" The man stuttered, not believing his ears.
"What is it? Did you find something? You have been gone for quite some days. I thought you would be able to get some news, but every time you come up with nothing," his boss said, and the man looked at the lady who was laughing like a crazy person who ran out of asylum.
"I...I found her, sir. Princess’ mother, I found her. But she says...she says that she isn’t. The princess isn’t rea-" The man couldn’t complete his sentence as the next thing he knew, the glass beside him broke and a dagger was shot straight into his neck.
"Galicia!" The man who killed the spy shouted and the lady who was laughing loudly immediately quietened.
"I... I didn’t tell anyone anything, I swear," she murmured, and the man who entered looked at his guards to capture the woman and take her back to the house.
"We are sorry for the trouble," the man nodded at everyone before exiting the club, leaving everyone shocked, unsure of what the hell happened.
Meanwhile, in the royal Kingdom, Stephano looked at his brother with narrowed eyes.
"Vincenzo, who are you talking to? Is everything alright?" Stephano asked.
However, rather than answering him Vincenzo just shook his head and left the room. His spy definitely wanted to say something. The way his voice stuttered at the end as if he found out something that he shouldn’t have was even more suspicious. He said something like the Princess isn’t - what is that supposed to mean?
This princess, what is the mystery around her birth, and why is it so hard to find? There’s no doubt that his best spy has been killed.
"Send three members of the S team to the location from where I received this call. We will get the clues there," Vincenzo said to his secretary, who nodded and left.
Honestly, he was merely intrigued by this case because he just wanted to help Stephano have something against Sebastian, but now it looks like this is indeed serious.
Maybe Stephano isn’t just playing around this time. Something is definitely wrong with the princess.
