Chapter 193: Because teasing her is fun

"What are you guys doing here?" Alcinder asked again, and Elliana looked at Dexter, who looked back at her with an unsure gaze.

"Will you believe us if we say we went to the forest because I wanted to show him my favorite place?" Elliana asked.

"Well, I know you are dumb enough to bunk a lecture for that. So it won’t be surprising," Alcinder scoffed, and Elliana narrowed her eyes.

"You are only asking about us. You tell us, what are you doing here? Don’t tell me you are smoking a joint. Some vampire drugs," Elliana commented, and Alcinder knitted his brows, stepping closer to her intimidatingly.

"Sometimes, I really wonder how you can survive with that sassy mouth of yours. Why did no one try to kill you in a fit of anger?" Alcinder asked, and Elliana looked at him innocently, blinking her eyes.

"Because people like you always come to my rescue," she said innocently, and Dexter shook his head with amusement when he looked at her, who was looking at Alcinder so intensely.

"Stupid annoying, human," Alcinder scoffed, and Elliana was about to walk to the class when Alcinder held her hand, making Elliana band Dexter look at his hand that was grabbing hers.

Elliana shifted her gaze to Alcinder, and he looked at Dexter warily before sighing.

"I never got the chance to ask you, but are you okay?" He asked, and Elliana smiled genuinely this time.

"As I said, what would happen to me? People like you always come to my rescue," she smiled.

Meanwhile, Sebastian looked at the same guy he had seen on the ship and was about to interrogate before Princess interrupted them.

What was he doing here at this University? He was definitely not a student. Then why was he even allowed amidst lectures? And why was he talking to that human -

Sebastian raised his brows when Boston held the human’s shoulders.

"Is-isn’t that Princess’s sis -" Lucas didn’t complete his sentence because of Sebastian’s glare.

"I didn’t know just anyone was allowed to enter the University. It makes me wonder if it’s really the right place to conduct this kind of experiment," Sebastian walked towards the biotechnology department, taking the staff lift to the floor with all the classes.

As soon as they exited the lift the bell rang, and students started rushing out of their seminar rooms for the lunch period, saving Elliana and her group some trouble, and the principal sighed at the poor timing of everything.

Sebastian didn’t stop, and neither did he suppress his aura this time, clearly telling everyone a royal was here.

Everyone started siding for him to walk ahead, unsure of what the royal wanted or was looking for.

"Let’s just go and eat something," Elliana turned between the crowd at the same time as Sebastian reached there, and seeing her leaving without noticing him, he grabbed her hand, making her pause abruptly.

"Alcinder, I swear one more time you held my hand and came between my food and I-" Elliana turned to look at the person who was holding her hand, her eyes widening at the man whose eyes were blazing with cold and dominating energy.

"What do you want, Mr -?" Elliana paused as she had forgotten that they were not at the palace momentarily.

"Elliana! What are you doing?!! He is a vampire prince," Dexter quickly rushed to the insolent girl, and he placed his hand on the back of her head, forcing her to bow in front of the infamous masked prince.

Elliana -"..." What the hell? She widened her eyes even more, the force Dexter was using to make her do a 90° bow, making it hard for her to pull back.

Lucas - "..." What the hell is this? Does this guy even know who he is touching?

"Remove your hand," Sebastian’s voice was cold and authoritative, and Dexter who thought the prince was angry with Elliana’s insolence, thinned his lips.

"Please forgive her, Sir. She had no idea who was behind her. She is a mere human, who does not know the royal family. We ask of your forgiveness," Dexter bowed, his hand still behind Elliana’s head as he kept forcing her, and Elliana who was fed up with this position, narrowed her eyes.

She looked at the prince from under her lashes, who looked back at her, his hand clenching in his trousers pockets.

"I don’t like repeating myself," Sebastian said, and Dexter removed his hand dejectedly, scared for his friend, making Elliana stand straight.

Since she was standing in that bending position, her back made a weird sound and her ankle twisted, making her widen her eyes.

She was about to hold Dexter’s hand to support herself when Sebastian held her hand, making shivers run down her spine.

Alcinder noticed what was happening and how this human got into trouble again.

She just liked to attract trouble her way, no? Alcinder looked at the girl and was about to step ahead when Sebastian pulled Elliana, making her widen her eyes as she was jerked forward and her hand landed on his chest.

"Quite a beauty," Sebastian murmured, smiling under his mask, and Elliana gritted her teeth.

Everyone heard the prince loud and clear. This was the first time the masked vampire prince was seen to have complimented someone.

Elliana wanted to retort, but she knew she couldn’t.

He wasn’t her Mr. Marino right now. He was the nation’s vampire prince and he was taking good advantage of it.

She didn’t waver her gaze. Her eyes asked one question from him that he didn’t have any heart to answer at the moment - Why are you doing this?

Sebastian looked at the girl, her helplessness amusing him more than he would’ve imagined.

"It’s lunch, right? How about we have some lunch, human girl?" Sebastian asked her, and Lucas bit the inside of his cheeks before turning around to control his smile.

Human girl? His prince couldn’t be any creative, could he?

Elliana gritted her teeth. She was about to remove her hand from his chest when he snuck his hand on her waist and pulled her closer, making her step even closer to him.

It was clearly bullying. The masked prince was bullying a human. That’s what everyone thought, but no one had any guts to say something either.

"I promise I won’t drink your blood," Sebastian said, and Elliana looked at him with a glare of helplessness and stepped even closer to him.

"Why are you doing this?" She mouthed to him, and Sebastian smirked.

He bent, placing his face in the crook of her neck as if sniffing her, and Dexter’s gusts clenched.

"Don’t you know, Princess? The reason behind all this? How dare you walk out of that palace without having breakfast with me? I am doing this because it’s fun," Sebastian whispered back to her, and she glared at him.

"Wasn’t this what you wanted -" she couldn’t complete her words because the next moment, he bent and picked her in his arms, making everyone gasp.

"Leave me alone!" Elliana slapped his chest in annoyance because he was having his way with her in front of everyone, and she wasn’t able to do anything.

Her actions shocked everyone. As much as they understood her terrified expression, this was something she shouldn’t have really done.

"You just made me angry, Human girl," Sebastian said pulling her close before leaving, making her flail her legs in frustration.

Lucas followed his prince, barely controlling his smiles. If not for his dominance, his prince would really make a good possessive husband, no? He grinned before clearing his throat.
