The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride
Chapter 134: Her species-like

Chapter 134: Her species-like

"Arizona, you called us?" The witches asked, looking at the lady who was pacing back and forth near her seat.

This was the first time they were seeing their queen being so restless. She was the type of lady who would stay calm and just raise her brows even when she would attack an entire witch clan and burn it in front of her eyes.

So what could be so important and severe that she was acting so restless?

"Where is Nathaniel?" Arizona looked at her secretary, not answering the witches just yet.

"I am here," Nath said, and Arizona turned to him.

"What is this supposed to mean? You said you would take responsibility for that human girl Elliana’s heart, didn’t you? What the hell is going on now?" Arizona’s words were calm, but everyone could feel the turmoil in her heart through her energy.

"Arizona, I will only know what’s going on if you tell me what is making you so anxious. How am I supposed to understand you?" Nath asked, and Arizona looked at the man in front of her before taking a deep breath.

She took out the pendant from under her cloak and showed it to him.

"Do you remember what this is?" Arizona asked.

"Of course, I know what this is. This is the same locket we have been using on Elliana to keep her under control. What is new about this?" Nath asked before narrowing his eyes.

"But wait. Why is this glowing?" He asked, and Arizona looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"You tell me. Why is it glowing? Do you not know what it means? What does it mean to have this crystal glow?" Arizona asked, and Nath looked at her in shock.

"That the embroidery locket is glowing somewhere else. The crystal depicts the witch powers in this pendant, and the embroidery means -" Nath’s pupils dilated.

The only person who has the counterpart of this locket is -

"Bring the crystal ball!" Nath’s voice raised, and the five witches who didn’t know what was going on narrowed their brows.

"Here," Kadakali, the witch of moonlight and thunder, clicked her fingers, and a blue-colored sphere crystal ball appeared on the ice table in front of them.

"Use your magic. Give me the exact location of Elliana. She said she was going on some kind of trip and won’t be able to train for three days. Yaretzi had warned her that she shouldn’t miss this training even for a single day, but the girl was so adamant that we couldn’t do anything. She said she will be surrounded by the vampires, powerful ones 24/7 and she won’t get any time away from them," Nath rambled as Kadakali closed her eyes and chanted the spells.

"Calm down, Nathaniel. Nothing is wrong with her. If it had been, we would’ve been notified, and all the witches would’ve felt that, but that’s not the case, right? She is alright and -" Karizana, the witch of fire, who was speaking earlier paused when she noticed where Elliana was.

"Please tell me this is not what we think this is. She is not on a ship in the middle of the sea. This is not true, right?" Jalizana, the witch of the water and water bodies, said, but the shocked expression on everyone’s face, made her gulp.

"She... She was going on a trip to some islands?" Nath whispered, shocked.

’Angel sings, at summer days, all the ways, I came to sing to you. Will you still love me even when you have forgotten me? I know you will. I know that you will. Because you belong to me,’

All the witches heard the song loud and clear, and Arizona sat on her seat, looking at Nath.

"Now you know why I am anxious? The glowing of that embroidery on her neck is the indication alone that she is near her species-like. The sirens are calling for her. Do you understand what it means?" Arizona asked Nath, and he took a deep breath.

"If by any chance that embroidery kept glowing and she kept walking in the direction of the song and discovered who this person is, or if the sirens, who usually sing songs at this time of night discovered that a person stronger than them of similar species and powers is on the ship, they will start looking for her," Nath said, and Arizona nodded.

"Exactly. Don’t you know what will happen if the sirens even got the hint that Elliana is alive? That she is living and breathing just fine with this locket on her neck that prevents them from feeling her? The reason we stop her from singing anything," Arizona said.

"But how did they come near the boat? We all know that sirens hate vampires with a passion. They must’ve felt that the vampires are on the ship. So why did -"

"Unless Elliana sang a song to alert them. It’s not possible," Prakrith, the witch of the forest and environment, said, and Nath looked at the crystal ball.

"She is walking towards the song. The sirens are risking so much just to see her. If they even got a glimpse of her, everything would be over, and all the years of hard work would go to waste," Nath leaned back in his seat.

"What are you doing closing your eyes at a time like this? You should do something. She knows you. She will only listen to you," The secretary of Arizona said, and Nath sighed.

"If I appeared or any witch from here or these powers appeared anywhere near that ship, they’ll immediately know something is definitely wrong, and they will do anything to catch Elliana. Sirens are the most useful sensors to find a witch, remember?" Nath said.

"So we are not going to do anything and just let her spoil everything for us? Why the hell did you have to entrust that human girl with such an important locket?" Kadakali asked, and Arizona kept looking at her daughter, who was looking so beautiful and peaceful with slight curiosity in her eyes.

She was clearly unaware of what kind of disaster she was walking to.

Everyone held their breaths as Elliana walked out of the corridor and stepped down towards the outside of the ship. Even a glimpse of her right now would be enough for the sirens.

Nath closed his eyes, expecting the worst.
