Okay, listen this novel grabbed me by the soul from chapter one and refused to let go. We’ve got a badass female lead, a loyal one-man-only romance (bless), transmigration goodness, kingdom building, family love, and mystery that slow-burns in the best way. Every chapter? A mini emotional rollercoaster. You’ll laugh, cry, gasp, and maybe yell at your screen. It’s the kind of story that makes you binge at 2 a.m. while whispering “just one more.” If you love reincarnation stories with brains, heart, and a little drama sparkle this is so your next obsession.
This one ticks all of the boxes. Military doctor √. Girl Boss √. Magical space √. Saves the handsome hero √. Dastardly villains √. Makes money easy peasy √. Enough drama to choke on √.
Thankfully there are plenty of good points, too. The FL is actually likeable and isn't totally overbearing. The ML isn't a complete simp either. They work together to solve their problems, which is quite nice. The secondary characters aren't completely two dimensional, which is another nice point. There is also a convoluted underlying mystery which should be the envy of every soap opera and tele novella writer worldwide. I'm surprised some K-drama producer hasn't nicked the idea already.
All in all I quite enjoyed the story and don't regret spending some time reading it. In fact, this is one of those that I'll definitely read again in the future.
