it was peak up until the final arc icl, it felt so rush and for how much they glazed the final boss, especially those kings, it was dissapointing how weak they were, and part about all s grades being full on immortals felt extremely fucking stupid. they couldve made it so its that its a one time chance but no they didnt. so what was the point of being X grade? x grade makes it so you can revive after dying but isnt really a point, well it makes you like 100x stronger but like yeah, extremely stupid how they just turned immortal.
While the premise is somewhat generic, this novel is one of my personal favorites.
The pacing is good, transitions feel seamless, and the plot moves at a reasonable pace. The actions of all parties involved in any event are both understandable and impactful. The power system is well used and fights are always well crafted.
Other takeaways, the side characters are fun and rememberable. Rarely, if at all, is there a character that is introduced for a single chapter then thrown away. The ending, while open, did not disappoint.
One of the first novels I completed and one of the best too. Power system is interesting and overall intersting story. There might be some boring arcs but most arcs are very good . And not a harem
One of the few novels that I completely binge read (although it's somewhat generic in starting but execution is perfect).
It got Best pacing like surviving the game as a barbarian.
MC is one of the best scammer, leak farmer.
Very little Chinese propaganda that you can skip.
Good open ending.
It's the best universal level power system novel for me.
Great book good pacing great characters and leveling systems powers are cool and characters while obviously op is still at least struggling and taking moderate losses to advance his career
Great pacing, cool MC, strong plot, and fun side characters—really enjoyable read..... so I'll say give it a go. I hope it gets back its place in ranking .
This is the novel I've read the most of, I think. The beginning is really the best part sadly as masterpieces get more and more difficult to write towards completion. nontheless, this novel is really good. I just wish that novels get updates just like software, where maybe a few chapters in the middle of the story could change for the better so that the novel keeps improving gradually.
Don't know what to say except for the fact that you should read this. I am just here to give a 5 star rating. So yeah. That's my review. Why hasn't it hit 140 letters mark yet? Also yes this was copy pasted
Honestly one of the best novels I've read - the best of the "ended up in a game" subgenre.
all of the characters are well written aulthough some of the 'players' I feel are under utilised.
the ending, aulthough moderately complicated is well written and not dragged out aulthough an epilogue I think would have been both greatly appreciated and equally hilarious.
the story as a whole is well paced, the fights are well written, aulthough the whole damage sponge thing made some fights slightly drawn out (in my opinion) they were still entertaining.
the system elements are some of the best, if not the best implemented I've seen (the only ones that come close would be the primal hunter, Runeblade, shadow slave and potentially defiance of the fall aulthough I'm only some 500 chapters into the last one)
overall a phenomenal novel that is in my opinion rather under appreciated.
