Chapter 399: Chapter 274: Death of the Chief Judge (Part 2)_2
There really were accomplices!
Their Spiritual Vision range was even longer than mine... Judging by his aggressive demeanor, he must have thought of a way to deal with me...
Various thoughts flashed through Rod’s mind, and when he saw the figure stretching out his palm towards him, he immediately shouted.
"Ouch."
He rolled off the horse and lay motionless on the ground.
Levill, watching through the Decree Eye, couldn’t help but say, "Well done, Amoli, quickly kill the other two and bring that scum back."
Amoli looked at his palm, puzzled. Why did he fall before I even launched the Giant Decree?
Could it be that my soul has grown stronger? Has the Giant Decree reached a level where it activates at will, and I am unaware of it?
Impossible.
Amoli immediately realized, that kid was faking it.
That means he saw me, does his Spiritual Vision really reach two thousand yards?
This is an incredible distance, completely beyond even a Spiritual Visionary, who can only see distant images through eyes created by Decrees.
The Decree Eye itself only has a range of five hundred yards.
Unacceptable.
Amoli instantly decided to kill.
This person cannot be allowed to live.
He reopened his palm, targeting Rod.
"Decree, Mental Deterrence!"
An invisible ripple rushed towards Rod on the ground.
But before it struck him, it was blocked by a white figure.
A crystal-clear circular ice shield appeared in front of him, blocking the deterrence ripple.
It was the Forbidden One, Mephit.
Her Cold Ice Attribute not only includes freezing and sealing but also acts as a barrier.
Even though she was three Spiritual Power Levels below his, she was a very troublesome existence.
Amoli raised his Spiritual Energy and shouted, "Ominous one, if you leave now, I can pretend nothing happened."
Mephit looked in his direction indifferently, without reply.
But the giant ice crystal shield interposed between them made her stance clear.
Amoli scoffed coldly, "If you seek death, then don’t blame me."
He opened his palm again.
"Decree..."
Before he could finish, Amoli felt as if a heavy hammer had struck his head; his vision suddenly darkened, and stars burst before his eyes.
If it weren’t for his strong mental power, he would have almost passed out.
"This... This is the Shock Decree?"
Amoli looked incredulously at Rod lying on the ground.
His palm was facing him.
"Impossible, this can’t be!"
"Why would you have the Giant Decree? It’s a characteristic only those with a Giant lineage can possess! Who... who exactly are you?"
Rod slowly stood up, trying his best to maintain his composure, and lightly smiled, "Well, to tell you the truth, I am the King of Giants, Ehaius."
Amoli’s face instantly turned red with rage and he roared, "How dare you insult my ancestor?"
Rod coldly said, "Your existence is an insult to your ancestors. I’ve been dormant in the darkness for a thousand years, waking now only to have a look at my descendants, and to think it turned out to be incompetent fools like you!"
Amoli, seething with fury much younger than Rod’s supposed grandchildren, yelled, "You... you’re seeking death!"
Rod opened his palm, targeting him.
"Would you like to feel the King of Giant’s Decree again? Although I’ve been dormant too long and my power isn’t what it once was, it still far surpasses that of you unworthy descendants."
In his rage, Amoli failed to notice Anna escaping, as he used one of the most powerful abilities of the Giant Decree.
"Decree, Giant’s Sword."
A huge, several hundred yards long Spiritual Energy giant sword appeared in the sky, slashing towards him.
But the next moment, another equally long Spiritual Energy giant sword appeared, blocking it.
The two giant swords clashed rapidly in the sky, each collision sending out a large circle of Spiritual Energy ripples.
But neither sword could overpower the other.
Amoli’s eyes bulged out.
This wasn’t an illusion or a similar ability.
This was indeed the Giant’s Sword.
But without a Giant’s lineage, it was absolutely impossible to use the Decree.
And a human with Giant’s lineage could only produce a descendant with the Giant’s lineage; the rest would be ordinary humans.
Every descendant of the ten Chief Judges was clear, it was impossible for there to be an extra person!
Amoli trembled and asked, "Are... are you really the King of Giants?"
Rod coldly said, "Of course!"
Of course, he was deceiving him.
When he had fallen just now, Rod had immediately entered the Dream Realm.
While observing the situation outside the dream, he looked for something within the dream to cope with the situation.
There were still many powerful items in the storage, but none were quite right.
"Flesh Armor" was of no great use.
"Soul Defense" to fend off fatal injuries also wasn’t useful.
"Pioneer of Destruction" was somewhat useful, but it would lead to death, and without the Resurrection Stone, it couldn’t be used.
