Chapter 133: Chapter 98 Justice Execution
With a whoosh, a black double-headed blade sprang from the Black Priest’s hand.
Her Spiritual Energy boiled over, the powerful fluctuations nearly obscuring her soul.
"Did you think we didn’t know you were bait? Did you think we wouldn’t dare to deploy our strong just because the ’Big Eyes’ are present?" she sneered.
She burst into wild laughter, brown contaminants spewing from her ears, nostrils, and mouth, surging upward.
"What you stole, it’s time to give it back!"
Merely witnessing this bizarre, incomprehensible scene, Rod knew he was likely no match for her, but a strange black curtain had enveloped the area.
He had already tried; there was no escaping it.
In the view of the Eye of the Soul, Lauren and twelve team members were entangled by dozens of dark shadows; it seemed unlikely they would break through this barrier anytime soon.
Indeed.
When the mountain falls, lean on the river when the river is dry.
He could only rely on himself now!
Rod took out a whistle, blowing it sharply.
A towering phantom materialized from thin air.
He wore a blue-gray robe, held a long magic wand, sported a long white beard, and wore silver rimmed glasses, with blue eyes that, even as a faint phantom, radiated wisdom.
It was none other than the pillar of the Trolian Kingdom, the cradle of human hope, the Dean of Jinworth Academy, rumored to possess the strongest "Spell Talent".
Sir Theodore Clement.
The phantom.
The phantom descended from mid-air, surveyed the surroundings, and fixed his gaze on the Black Priest and the rising contaminant, his expression serious.
Rod shouted, "Lord Phantom, quickly engage her, she is a Doomsday believer!"
The phantom nodded slightly, lifted his magic wand, and cautiously moved towards the Black Priest.
Rod replaced all the bullets in his gun with Sealing Spirit Bullets, one hand grasping a Thunder Stone from the ash bag.
The Black Priest scoffed, utterly indifferent to his actions, as a huge triangular symbol formed of contaminants above her head, emitting intense Spiritual Light.
"Contaminate!" she exclaimed.
"Infect!"
"Your spirit will decay!"
"And it will belong to me!"
"For I am the Queen of Contamination!"
The Spiritual Light turned from white to brown, filled with indescribable eeriness and terror, the entire area turning a grim brown, countless mournful cries overlapping in the air mixed with piercing noise, driving people mad.
Space started to warp, the ground cracked, huge abscesses grew on the cobblestones, copper lamps shattered, residual light extinguished.
The phantom silently descended into the ground.
The Black Priest laughed maniacally, "Become my favored, obey my command, offer your power!"
Rod quietly watched her, as if looking at a madman.
The ominous brown Spiritual Light illuminated him, yet he felt nothing, not a hint of discomfort.
Rod tried to raise his gun, his Spiritual Energy functioned normally, the Spirit Pressure Gauge skyrocketed, Sealing Spirit Bullets firing, striking her right in the forehead.
Bang!
The Black Priest staggered a few steps, her Spiritual Energy disrupted for several seconds, and although it quickly resumed, her shocked face did not recover.
"What? Why? How has the Contaminating Spiritual Light not infected you?"
Rod smiled and said, "Maybe it’s because your Spiritual Light is too weak. Why don’t you go back and train for a few more years?"
The Black Priest’s face twisted, "Little bastard! What did you say?"
Rod suddenly pointed excitedly behind her, shouting, "What is that?"
The Black Priest sneered, "Those tricks of yours, I stopped playing them twenty years ago..."
Boom!
The massive figure of the phantom burst from the ground, both hands holding the magic wand, crashing it heavily onto her head.
The force was so immense that a visible circle of ripples appeared in the air.
The Black Priest’s face crumbled; blood spurted from every orifice, and her body shrank a bit.
Yet, her soul remained active, her Spiritual Energy still working, and the Contaminating Spiritual Light on her head did not subside.
In just those few seconds, the phantom appeared to fade significantly.
Clearly, the Spiritual Light was highly damaging to him.
The phantom raised his magic wand a second time, crashing it down again.
But the Black Priest had recovered, spun her double-headed blade, channeling her Spiritual Energy, and raised the blade to catch the descending magic wand.
Boom!
As the weapons collided, invisible ripples spread out, Rod only felt a suffocating sensation, the ground directly collapsing, dust and sand flying within a radius of several hundred yards.
Rod was shocked; this person’s strength indeed far surpassed his, a mishap last time like an elephant upturned by ants.
No wonder she harbored such resentment towards him.
As the dust settled, the two remained in a standstill, their weapons flickering with Spiritual Light, clearly, it was not a test of strength but a clash of Spiritual Energy.
Seizing the fleeting opportunity, Rod immediately raised his gun and fired furiously at her, charging towards her, hurling the Thunder Stone filled with energy from the ash bag.
A thick mist rose around the Black Priest as she scoffed, "I haven’t feared bullets for thirty years..."
Bang.
The Sealing Spirit Bullets didn’t penetrate the thick fog, but the sealing effect disrupted her Spiritual Energy through the mist, a flash of Spiritual Light on the double-headed blade, the blade faltered, and the magic wand, pressing down heavily, crashed down on her face.
Following this, the fully energized Thunder Stone landed beside her, intense Thunder Light blasting out, engulfing her.
Rod did not let his guard down, continuously shooting at her figure, not ceasing to charge the Thunder Stone with his left hand.
Thunder Light fell, the Black Priest’s broken body lay on the ground, the Contaminating Spiritual Light in the sky ceased flickering, the brown contaminant fell to the ground like a turd.
