The Invincible Full-Moon System
Chapter 1561 - 1561: Before He Killed Himself

Countless supernatural beasts threw themselves at Kyran.

Enraged by his arrogance for barging into their city that swarmed with their people, the Werewolves did not hesitate to attack him. As the world's awakening has settled down, all of them have fully recovered their strengths from the past era.

None of them was any weaker than the seventh-rank realm.

Most were even at the eighth-rank realm, which would be a mythical army before the world's awakening.

But that meant little to nothing in front of Kyran.

All who dared to attack were mangled into pieces or devoured.

Realizing how strong Kyran was, the Werewolves began to coordinate, using their signature, primal method of hunting—through circling the prey. Instead of attacking head-on, they chipped Kyran down with small attacks from his blind spot.

Even then, it was futile.

Roar!

One lunged from behind, claws opened to hack Kyran's back.

An inch away from reaching, Kyran's body twisted quickly and sliced him with precision.

Before the Werewolf realized, his body was already split into three pieces.

Another one attacked from the side.

However, he lost his head even before he was able to bite Kyran's arm.

Finding that attacking one by one doesn't work—the Werewolves changed their plan and attacked in a sequence of three. But even then, Kyran was able to kill all of them before they could touch him. Instead of using his claws, the innate ice power from his bloodline did the work.

Kyran was akin to a meat grinder.

Anyone who dared approach him was reduced to a crimson mist and scattered fragments of flesh.

Blood was splattered everywhere, pooling beneath his feet, and made the ground slippery.

Blood was splattered in every direction.

Oblivious to him, it pooled beneath his feet and turned the ground into a slick, crimson mire.

Even compared to the other Werewolves, his reflexes were levels above theirs.

Not only that, with each flesh he devoured, his aura swelled.

He was actually getting stronger as the battle continued.

Splash!

Luckily, four Werewolves were able to bypass his defense and drove their claws into Kyran.

Savagely, each one of them opened their maws and latched onto Kyran with their sharp fangs.

All of them infused their moonlight energy into Kyran, causing the puncture wounds to spread.

Instead of shaking them off, Kyran's crimson eyes glowed with an unnatural light as he crossed both of his arms across his body. Each of the Werewolves could sense moonlight energy flowing out of Kyran's core and seeping into the ground.

Just then, a sudden stillness enveloped them.

Almost as if the entire world was paused for a few seconds.

All four of the Werewolves raised their brows in confusion before the ground suddenly exploded.

Crack!

Countless ice spires that emanated heat stabbed out of the ground like the bones of a colossal monster hiding underneath the earth's surface. All four of the Werewolves were stabbed and killed first, their corpses turning into azure ash.

But the ice spires didn't stop there.

It kept expanding in radius, decimating the entire area.

Hundreds fell and turned to ash.

Some were even stabbed multiple times across their bodies, killing them in an instant.

All of them were able to level cities—and caused immaculate damage to any place, but against Kyran, they were turned into harmless puppies—that died from a single hit. Looking around at the devastation he caused, Kyran laughed.

Around him was turned into a garden of ice spires.

Each of their tip was glazed with blood where the corpses were seconds ago.

Due to the heat radiating from the ice, the corpses were turned into ash, leaving only their blood.

Boom!

Just then, Krynda landed across Kyran once again, a low growl rumbling his throat.

His wound was already healed, and he was now ready to fight again.

Kyran was about to say something, but his ears perked up when another figure landed—at the edge of the crater he was in right now. Another Alpha Prime, beaming with insurmountable power. His King Mark of the Dark Moon was already activated, showing that he was not any weaker than Krynda.

Then, Kyran snapped to the other side.

Another Alpha Prime appeared.

Then another.

It didn't take long before five total Alpha Primes surrounded him, including Krynda.

Since the opposing army hadn't attacked, these Alpha Primes came to make quick work of Kyran—and return to their station. None of them could comprehend how Kyran was able to bypass their senses, but it doesn't matter.

Now that it was five against one, it should end quickly.

"A silverstar pack member…"

One of them uttered when he noticed the mark on Kyran's chest, shaped like a silver star.

Another Alpha Prime with a massive body and crooked jaw smiled excitedly when he realized that.

"Hah! He saved me the bothersome travel! I have always wondered—how I will fare! Leave him, he's mine!

On the opposite side, a very lean Alpha Prime crossed his arms and shook his head.

"We're at war. This is not a game. We should attack him together."

Kyran swept his bloodlit gaze across the five Alpha Primes, then slammed both fists into the ground—not to summon a spell or ability, but out of sheer, uncontained excitement. The ground cracked beneath him, but to the Alpha, it wasn't excitement they saw.

It was a predator's warning, raw and thunderous.

A gesture that challenged their authority as the Alpha Primes.

This is their territory, and around them are their people.

So, this kind of behavior is not tolerable.

Roar!!

In unison, all five Alpha Primes spread their arms to the side and spread their chests, unleashing a howl that reverberated through the air—like lightning. All of their aura skyrocketed, stabbing the night sky with relentless fervor, drawing the attention of many.

A collective pressure that even weighed down heavily on the berserk Kyran.

Despite the huge pressure, Kyran scanned his gaze fearlessly.

He also unleashed his aura and returned the howl, trying to dominate five Alpha Primes at once.

Meanwhile, back in the main camp.

Evelyn sweated profusely when she heard the news that came out of Gelmar's mouth.

Out of the entire Silverstar Pack, Kyran has the most sensitive senses, matching Rex—or even stronger, despite not having a King Mark. Gelmar said those words lightly, but it was certainly loud and clear to Kyran, who probably already noticed him along with Vivian and the Queen visiting Evelyn's hut.

Running out of the hut, she noticed one thing instantly.

All of the people around her hut were gazing ahead.

She followed their gaze's direction and realized they were gazing at Imla City, where a vicious spectacle of power could be seen flashing under the midnight sky. Flashes of crimson moonlight energy sparked ahead, along with towering ice spires climbing skyward.

One look is all it takes for her to recognize that it was Kyran against another Alpha Prime.

A groan escaped her lips as she clutched her chest, as if she were holding back pain.

'Kyran! Come back!'

Evelyn tried screaming inside her head, drawing in her connection with Kyran to call him back.

But it was futile.

On the other end of the connection, a suffocating numbness pressed against her—that did not allow her voice to go through, to reach Kyran. Biting her lower lip—her body shimmered with a violet hue as her Luna energy surged through her, causing her form to flicker, shifting between her normal self and her Luna form.

She focused.

Pressing through the numbness that would lead to Kyran's consciousness.

From the onlookers' gazes, her Luna energy swirled violently.

Splash!

"Arggh!"

Suddenly, her Luna energy was violently repelled, the backlash striking with such force that it hurled her physical body backward. Fortunately, Gelmar was standing right behind her and was able to catch her before she could fall.

"Your Majesty, are you okay?!"

He exclaimed, worried.

But then, his eyes widened when he noticed a trail of crimson.

"You're bleeding…"

Evelyn reached for her nose and realized she was bleeding.

Suppressing a pack member who went berserk has always been hard, but since it wasn't Rex, who was the Alpha, she thought that it would be a lot easier. But she was wrong, it was still extremely difficult to handle.

"Yes, I'm okay…"

She assured Gelmar that she was fine, but she was a mess inside.

'If I had more Luna energy, I could've reached Kyran…' She bit her lower lip in frustration.

Had the small portion of Luna energy that was now inside Calidora still hers, she would be able to reach Kyran earlier. It wouldn't be this hard. But complaining wouldn't get her anywhere—she needed to do something.

Just then, her moon earrings glowed.

'You have to get close to him. A lot closer. It would be more ideal if you had the Female Alpha's help, but you have to work—with what you have. Try it again when your scent managed to reach him.' The voice inside the earrings instructed.

Evelyn nodded her head and climbed to her feet again.

"Kyran is consumed by rage," She informed gravely.

Upon hearing this, the others sucked in a cold breath as this was going to be bad.

"Shouldn't we attack? If Lord Kyran is on a rampage, we should help him end the opposing side."

"I agree, that would be our best course of action."

Hearing Gelmar's and Vivian's input, Evelyn knew that they were not wrong.

Despite wanting to give Imla City a chance, this situation has gotten too messy already.

No choice for them other than to destroy the city.

"Yes, but we need to act quickly," Evelyn said with a tinge of worry in her tone. "Kyran is consumed by rage, and there are a lot of Alpha Primes there. We need to reach him before he kills himself. But that would mean going through the frontline."

Gelmar and the others believed in Kyran's strength.

Not a lot of people could match him, and that's for certain.

But the Werewolves inside Imla City weren't exactly ordinary Werewolves.

A lot of them have made a name for themselves in the past era, a fearsome beast that has killed many.

And the Alpha Primes are certainly at the ninth-rank realm, boasting a King Mark of their own too, so Kyran could probably fare well against one, even win—but against multiple, there was no way he could win or even survive.

His moonlight energy wasn't a match against kingly energy, which was the main reason.

All he has going for him is his icy power and insane regeneration.

Other than that, he'd be outclassed.

Saving was the priority, but that would also be quite a challenge.

From their scouts, Evelyn knew that the walls were already reinforced.

Not only by countless packs of Werewolves, but there were multiple Shamans casting powerful spells.

Clashing directly from the front would cost immense casualties.

One that would hurt the main army.

But it wasn't the time to hesitate.

"You stay here," Evelyn faced the Queen and said before he turned to the other two. "As for the two of you, follow me. Both of you, along with Gistella, will sneak me into Imla City while the army attacks the main gate."

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

"I'll do my best, Your Majesty."

Hastily, Evelyn commanded the rest of the main army to attack the main gate of Imla City.

Most of them knew that this instruction would come, mainly due to the spectacle ahead.

Clearly, the enemy was dealing with an internal problem, which made this a good moment to attack.

Since all of them were ready to attack anyway, with most being Supernaturals who were more active during the night, the main army departed in under ten minutes, which was extremely impressive when their numbers were somewhere north of ten thousand.

But the soldiers were surprised to see Evelyn riding with them to march.

As Evelyn rode her own mount, she gazed ahead with a troubled face.

'Now, it's only a matter of whether I can get inside. If something happened to Kyran…' She gritted her teeth, dreading the worst-case scenario. 'No, I'll make sure it won't happen. Rex has lost enough. I don't want to add to his sorrow with my mistake.'
