Chapter 808: Chapter 808: Why Are You Suddenly Being So Nice to Me? Chapter 808: Chapter 808: Why Are You Suddenly Being So Nice to Me? Gu Ya’s throat suddenly tightened.
He felt parched and his tongue was dry.
This little fox.
He truly had no resistance to her.
Gu Ya stared at his little wife, not speaking but proving his answer through actions. He took charge, pinning his little wife beneath him, and sealed her lips with his mouth.
Afterward, Su Yunjin lay on top of Gu Ya, too lazy to move an inch, her body feeling completely spent. Gu Ya wrapped his arms around his wife’s waist, filled with contentment, “Yunjin, why are you being so good to me today?”
The way his little wife was today had taken Gu Ya completely by surprise. Su Yunjin just wanted to sleep, not wanting to move while lying on Gu Ya.
As lazy and cozy as a little kitten.
With her cheeks flushed red from fatigue, he knew his wife was tired, and so, without asking her any more questions, Gu Ya held her as they both fell asleep.
The fruit wines that Su Yunjin bought yesterday were not yet finished brewing. She spent the next two days focusing solely on making the fruit wine.
As for Gu Ya! He remained at the forefront in the shop, selling wine. When the fruit wine was done, there were still plenty of fruits left over, including the shriveled ones that hadn’t been used last time.
Su Yunjin transformed them all into fruit candies.
Green plums, yellow apricots, pears, and loquats were all excellent choices for making fruit candies. The finished products were fragrant, sweet, and perfect to eat as snacks.
After making candy out of the remaining fruits, Su Yunjin found several small jars and placed different types of fruit candies into separate jars.
Of all the finished fruit candies, Su Yunjin loved the green plum candy the most. It was sour and sweet, with a satisfying chew–ideal for snacking on.
Gu Ya had never seen these fruit candies before. When Su Yunjin offered them to Gu Ya, he tasted a few pieces and disliked them, thinking they were too sweet and something women would enjoy.
So, he stopped eating them.
Su Yunjin encouraged Gu Ya to eat them, but he didn’t even want to try. Such tasty treats, and Gu Ya wouldn’t eat them–he just didn’t know what was good. She didn’t make a fuss about it and left him be.
Gu Ya wouldn’t eat.
She would.
However, Su Yunjin made a lot of fruit candy, about five or six jars of those neither large nor small clay pots. With so much fruit candy and Gu Ya not eating any, she couldn’t possibly finish it all by herself. Though the candies could be stored for a long time, they were better fresh; they’d lose their flavor if kept for too long.
After some thought, Su Yunjin decided to send a few packs to her parents.
She planned to send some to her father-in-law and mother-in-law as well, and also to her sister-in-law, Mrs. Chu, and her husband, wanting everyone to have a taste.
Su Yunjin grabbed several handfuls of fruit candies and wrapped them in advance with wax paper.
Her brother-in-law and his wife sold steamed buns in the market and would sometimes bring leftovers for Su Yunjin and her family to eat. It was possible that the Chu couple would come by today.
She wrapped the fruit candies in advance.
If her brother-in-law and his wife came to deliver buns, she could give them the fruit candies to take back and try. The fruit candies for her father-in-law and mother-in-law could also be sent with them.
After all, they went back to the village every day.
To give them the fruit candies.
Conveniently, it would be delivered to her father-in-law and mother-in-law.
