The Hunter’s Lively Wife
Chapter 683 - Chapter 683 Chapter 687 Stay for One Night

Chapter 683: Chapter 687 Stay for One Night Chapter 683: Chapter 687 Stay for One Night Apart from some tables and stools, the shop didn’t have any other furniture, so Su Yunjin had to furnish the room with necessities like a bed and a cabinet that she would have to buy separately.

Fortunately, the shop was located in the market, so it wouldn’t be too inconvenient to make additional purchases. Su Yunjin found the place where she had bought furniture before, and there she picked out a simple wooden bed that wasn’t too large, since the room was small and couldn’t accommodate a big bed. After choosing a bed, she also needed a cabinet.

Su Yunjin picked out a small one to take back to their room, where it could hold both her and Gu Ya’s clothes. Their room also had a small window, and since Gu Ya could do bookkeeping, Yunjin thought it would be nice to buy a writing desk to put under the window, so both she and Gu Ya could sometimes write on it.

Once their wine shop opened, they would need to keep accounts, and with Gu Ya, an actual Accountant, at home, Su Yunjin entrusted the bookkeeping to him.

When the shop opened, she would have Gu Ya help her with the accounting. As she was familiar with the vendors, Su Yunjin quickly purchased what was needed, and the Shopkeeper agreed to deliver them for her.

This time Su Yunjin didn’t buy much: a bed, a cabinet, and a writing desk. The items were simple and were soon delivered to their shop.

When Gu Ya returned, he saw his little wife busily tidying the room alone, surprised to find that the space where the wine jars used to be had been turned into a living area.

Gu Ya was curious; the little wife had come to the market today to brew wine and he hadn’t expected her to clear out one of the back rooms to make space for living.

Yunjin was spreading out a new bedsheet, one of the items she had bought that day. Hearing footsteps coming in, she knew it had to be Gu Ya and no one else. Without turning around, Yunjin continued her task, “Husband, have you returned?”

Gu Ya approached his little wife, voicing his confusion.

“Yunjin, why did you turn the wine brewing room into a living space?” This place was always used for storing wine jars; did the little wife intend to live in the market?

After Yunjin finished spreading the bedsheet, she turned to look at Gu Ya, but instead of answering his question, she smiled and asked his opinion of her arrangement. “Husband, what do you think of my tidying up? Is it good?”

Gu Ya looked around the room that his little wife had tidied, noting it was clean and simple, and well-arranged, with a pot of lush bamboo on the writing desk by the window.

Overall, the room, as arranged by his little wife, was quite nice.

Gu Ya nodded honestly.

Having received Gu Ya’s affirmation, Yunjin smiled and shared her rationale with him, “Husband, I’ve set aside a room here so, once the shop opens, if we’re too busy or can’t make it back home, we can just stay over at the shop. What do you think?”

Understanding his little wife’s intention, Gu Ya also thought it was a good plan. Embracing her, he suggested, “Yunjin, why don’t we spend the night in the shop tonight? What do you say?”

Gu Ya was joking with his little wife, but Yunjin really liked the idea, “Okay, husband, then let’s not go back tonight.” Anyway, there was a small kitchen in the backyard, complete with pots and pans, and also an old well, which made getting water convenient. Before, Su Yunjin had always used water from that well.

It tasted sweet and refreshing.

Perhaps it was because the environment in ancient times hadn’t been polluted, but Su Yunjin thought that the water from the well was as clear and sweet as spring water from the mountains.
