The little thing dared to fool him last night while he was drunk.

Gu Ya’s gaze on her grew even brighter as he waited for Su Yunjin to bring up the promise about consummating their marriage–a matter from the previous night when, indeed, Gu Ya had been drunk.

Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya, her eyes wide with shock–wasn’t that man supposed to be drunk last night? How could he possibly remember what she had said to him?

Could it be that last night Gu Ya was just pretending?

With this realization, Su Yunjin glared at Gu Ya with wide-open eyes and directly asked him, “Are you saying you were pretending last night?”

“Pretending what?” Gu Ya feigned ignorance.

Su Yunjin gritted her teeth, “Pretending to be drunk!”

Gu Ya smiled, “Yunjin, in that case, I truly wasn’t pretending, I was indeed drunk.” He had indeed been quite drunk last night, and there was no need for him to pretend.

Gu Ya had finished the accounts for Fuman Building, and today Ding Wang from Fuman Building was going to come over. In addition to picking up the accounts Gu Ya had prepared, he would also bring Gu Ya’s wages.

Coming back to his senses, Ding Wang was still incredulous, “Brother Gu, are you really alright now?”

“Yes, Brother Ding, I’m truly fine now! In the future, I won’t have to lie down anymore,” Gu Ya said with a smile. Ding Wang walked over to Gu Ya and looked him up and down.

Seeing that Gu Ya was indeed fine,

Ding Wang couldn’t help but beam with joy, saying, “Brother Gu, it’s great that you’re alright.”
