Chapter 1355: Chapter 1356: Fainting from Anger
"You—!"
Su Yunjin was dumbstruck.
She could not find the words to speak.
Gu Ya?
How did Gu Ya get in here?
She had bolted the door tightly, hadn’t she?
How could Gu Ya possibly have gotten inside?
She thought she must have seen wrong.
Su Yunjin blinked hard, and then rubbed her eyes with her hands. Not only was Gu Ya still there, but he seemed even closer to her than before.
"Yunjin, you’re not seeing things wrong," Mrs. An said with a shocked face. Gu Ya knew what Mrs. An was thinking and deliberately spoke out to remind her.
Once Su Yunjin confirmed that Gu Ya was really inside, she ground her teeth in frustration. Looking behind Gu Ya, she saw that both windows behind him were wide open.
It was obvious that Gu Ya had jumped in through the window.
This shameless man.
He even jumped through the window.
Su Yunjin muttered a few words, sulking as she went to sit by the table. Gu Ya followed her over, and Su Yunjin turned her head away as soon as she saw him.
It was just a sulk, refusing to look at Gu Ya.
That’s how Mrs. An was.
Gu Ya sighed helplessly beside her ear, "Yunjin, come on, stop being silly." Why hadn’t he realized before that Mrs. An was so difficult to deal with?
She was impossible to soothe.
Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya, and the gaze that had just softened, suddenly turned cold again, "Being silly? Husband, do you think I’m being silly today?"
Mrs. An had gone too far, and it was one thing for Gu Ya to defend his mother, but now he even thought Su Yunjin’s actions were all just silly antics? Su Yunjin was even angrier.
A wave of nausea hit.
Su Yunjin began to retch violently.
Initially, after becoming pregnant, Su Yunjin had suffered from severe morning sickness, but afterward, with her own treatments and as her pregnancy progressed, Su Yunjin rarely experienced it.
It was unusual for her to have such sudden and intense morning sickness now.
Gu Ya hurried to pat Mrs. An’s back while she retched. Su Yunjin wanted to push Gu Ya away, but the severity of her morning sickness left her without any strength to do so.
So she let Gu Ya pat her back.
Gu Ya gave Mrs. An a few pats.
Then, seeing that Mrs. An was a bit better,
he hurriedly went to pour her a glass of water.
Handing her the warm water, he coaxed softly, "Yunjin, here, take a sip to moisturize your throat." While speaking, Gu Ya brought the cup to Mrs. An’s lips.
Su Yunjin looked up at Gu Ya, gave a cold laugh, and knocked the water from the cup, "Take it away, I don’t need it! Ha! Since you think I’m being silly, just leave me alone."
Su Yunjin stood up and moved to sit back down, holding onto the table for support. She had been agitated just moments ago and now returned to being sick, her stomach also feeling uncomfortable. Su Yunjin covered her stomach with her hand.
Because of the discomfort,
her little face scrunched up.
Gu Ya noticed something was wrong with Mrs. An.
He asked anxiously, "Yunjin, what’s wrong? Where do you feel uncomfortable?" Gu Ya’s face was filled with concern, fearing that something might happen to Mrs. An or their child. Su Yunjin pushed Gu Ya away, not letting him touch her.
Worried about Mrs. An and the child’s safety,
Gu Ya couldn’t let Mrs. An act out. He picked her up and started walking out of the room, "Yunjin, where does it hurt? Is it your stomach? Bear with it, don’t be afraid. I will take you to the market to find a doctor right now."
Gu Ya’s voice was gentle,
soothing his little woman like a child.
Su Yunjin stared at Gu Ya.
Suddenly, a rush of blood surged to her head.
Her eyelids fluttered.
And she fainted.
"Yunjin, Yunjin!" After shouting twice, Gu Ya’s face turned pale with fright.
