The hivemind is conquering for me? -
Chapter 443 - 443: Binge Eat Incoming
After giving the chonkasauras her scratch tax, I opened my eyes and immediately felt something was wrong. Wiping my cheek, I immediately said. "Ugh, how did I friendly fire? Turning to where the clean up crew usually was, I got my answer, a loud ball of fighting at the bottom of the bed between four figures who wanted to lick up the spilt goods.
The fact I woke up and they didn't even notice left me to not wait around as I got up and walked to the bathroom. Waiting for me inside was Sol who was causing the bathtub to become a hot tub.
"My Kindled, I thought it would be best to introduce myself to the new figures in your company, I wouldn't want my form gaining damage now would I?" After quickly washing my face in the sink, I walked over and entered the bath, curiosity on my face.
"You can get injured in that body?" I asked, causing Sol to chuckle as she casually picked up a scrub and waded towards me. "Of course my Kindled, how do you think I lost the last body I had? I think I took out an entire galaxy with the supernova from that discorporation."
Sol must have noticed my shocked expression and put me at ease. "Worry not my Kindled, our current agreement is much different. Since a piece of myself exists inside of your Origin and its potential can withstand my being, my energy will not cause mass extinction of life, I will simply return to your Mindspace for a time while I forge the body again, this soul energy from the Ares fellow is quite potent after all and has a few... Hacks I can take advantage of."
"Sheesh, no wonder the dude's energy seeping into my body caused the start of my Psionic decay, if it's useful to an entity such as yourself... I can only imagine how powerful he was." Sol nodded her head. "Yes, for one born within the confines of the universe, Ares is incredibly powerful, just a fragment of his soul was enough to help me create this body after all, but you my Kindled, I can already see it, the love you have for those close to you will pave way for heights unknown."
I felt like Sol had just said something important, but the thought of Jewel and I 'strolling' around the universe together kicking names and taking ass... 'No, wait, that's not right...' Anyways, the thoughts of us being equals showing our love to everyone that dared look towards it had left me in such a good mood that I activated my Farsight instantly as I wanted a sweet treat before breakfast.
...
Jewel felt a fluctuation in front of her main body and a wave of elation passed around her entire body. Apollo's last use of his power was over thirty hours ago and she was starting to get withdrawals.
As soon as she saw Apollo's face, it was like light had returned to the universe. Just staring at him rejuvenated her brain, making her even more efficient than she was for a short time.
As Apollo placed his hand up against the rift, she too placed a claw up against the rift as she leaned down to get as close to Apollo as she could in this moment. Oh how she missed him. His touch, his thoughts, his love. All of that was through a small rift in space.
One that she could breach through, but with a great deal of effort and if she did Apollo would stop opening the rift so she couldn't hurt herself. There were positives and negatives for all of the decisions she could make, ultimately leading her to just gaze at her everything for as long as his Psionic energy held up.
She knew it was an incredibly taxing ability, so she felt a delight that Apollo was willing to go through with it just to see her. It truly made her love him even more, something she keeps on thinking impossible, surprising herself everyday with the infinite growing emotion.
Ten minutes later, I felt my mind begin to get a little hazy. I could still go on for a while longer, but thought it best to end soon. Positioning myself, I leaned forward and kissed the rift, receiving the vision of a giant tongue licking the other side, causing me to chuckle before I stopped feeding the rift with my energy, it closing instantly afterwards.
The moment the rift closed, Jewel observed the place before her for multiple seconds afterwards before the feeling of being alone returned to her. She loved Apollo with her entire existence, which is why she allowed him to leave. If she was a selfish hive, she would keep him locked up all for herself, but Apollo would no longer be Apollo in that scenario, a thought she hated with absolute intent.
The fact she could miss him, the fact she could feel alone, the fact her Apollo, her everything was out there, getting stronger so one day they would never need to part again, that made the temporary solitude trivial.
That and of course she was now going to binge eat, both with her body and she was going to send another twenty-six- no make it an even thirty as she was particularly famished today after all, fleets through multiple Psionic tendrils towards the Ker'min buffet.
...
As I got out of the tub, I felt Psionic energy pouring into my body as though wanting to devour me, I noticed the particular abundance that was heading my way and smiley. "Thanks for that Sol, you didn't need to do that." I said as I walked over to the mirror.
"It is like breathing to me, Apollo, replenishing your energy in a hot zone with my concept is the least I can do." Sol said cutely, her clothes appearing on her again as she stood behind me in the mirror.
Looking in the steamy reflection, I smiled at Sol before I checked on the imperfections I noticed last night. They were fine so I would stop worrying about them. "Come on then Sol, let's get me dressed as I am starving."
...
As the elevator dinged open, Elias had a radiant smile upon his face. Not only was it his first day back, but he got to share the ride up with Sophia and some pipsqueak. "I must say my Lady, It is good to be able to cook for you, the month off, despite it being a relaxing time, was also anxiety inducing. I felt the need to cook for you despite being on Ecumenopolis three in leisure."
"Mhm. That is good to know, Elias, I have guests here, make enough food for... Meh, twenty four should be enough." Sophia said before walking away towards the living room. "Twen- Of course my Lady, I shall prepare it with my all! You shall not be disappointed."
Elias knew there were not twenty-four people present, but his one and only asked. It must be a test so she knows he had not lost his touch in the months absence. 'Oh dear Sophia, I have even been to a few culinary seminars whilst away, with the new techniques I have picked up, I shall have you all to myself soon enough!'
Elias knew in his heart, just tasting his food after so long will ignite something in his ladies heart. The love he will pour into every crumb of the meal to come would be felt by her entire existence.
Elias then entered the kitchen and put on his apron, looking around the pristine clean room with a determined look on his face. 'Let's do this!'
...
Lele stepped into the living room and was curious about the four women who Sophia just sat next to as they were arguing about something. She knew Jinx, but there was a woman with purple hair, a woman with red hair and a woman with a skin tone that was much darker then the rest.
Lele stared at the darker skinned woman curiously, she had never seen someone with such pretty skin before. She wondered why it was so dark, the darkest she had ever seen was close to olive in colour so this made her curious about where the woman came from.
Onyx felt the innocent and inquisitive gaze of the child and smiled. The smile was very pleasant, but Lele felt like the woman wanted to eat her up for some reason. "Sharp instinct child, come, let me take a look at you." Onyx's words caused the bickering about who elbowed who in the cooch to come to an end as the other three noticed Lele.
"Oh hello again child. Did you sleep well?" Kathrine said, remembering the way she slept in Apollo's lap last night, promptly causing her ovaries to kick her in the womb at the mental image."
Lele nodded her head and then there was a silence, causing Jinx to say, "Well don't just stand there you little cretin, go to Onyx, she is trustworthy. Lele's brain almost broke at that sentence. 'Jinx trusting someone?'
Prompted by her protector, Lele walked forwards towards the green eyed, dark skinned woman and looked up at her sitting form.
The woman looked her up and down like she was appraising an item before smiling and saying in a playful tone.
"Well, aren't you a surprise."
