The moment Eve unmasked, the banquet hall was filled with loud gasps.

"Oh my god! She is absolutely stunning!"

"Angelic voice, amazing talent, and a beautiful face. She got it all!"

"Who is she? Is she really a member of the Siren Ensemble?"

Queen Amara was silent, clenching her fists while eyeing Eve with a deathly glare. She saw the face she hated the most!

And what angered the queen the most was the fact that Eve had recovered her voice. She even sang before them while playing the zither expertly. No one had taught her how to play instruments! How could this happen?

’Damn it! I’ve been deceived by her! She is no longer mute! She even revealed her real face tonight! What is she planning to do here? She must be removed from this banquet as soon as possible.’ Queen Amara felt threatened.

Queen Amara signaled her royal servant to take Eve away. However, she glanced at the stage anxiously. How could she take her away if Crown Prince Cassian was standing there with her?

Eve didn’t answer him right away. She deliberately glanced in Queen Amara’s direction.

Queen Amara met her gaze. She narrowed her eyes on Eve. Then she shook her head, giving her a warning. ’Don’t you dare say your real name!’

"We must take her out of the stage now!" Princess Aliyah whispered to her elder sister, Alessandra. "Please do something!"

Princess Alessandra nodded as she stood up. She strode toward the stage, aiming to prevent Eve from introducing herself. However, before she could reach them, Eve finally spoke up, her gaze still fixed on Queen Amara’s face defiantly.

"I’m Evelina Valemont Stormholt, the third princess of Kingdom Averion... and the wife of General Alaric Stormholt," Eve declared, shocking everyone most especially Alaric.

The banquet hall was once again engulfed in a deafening silence.

’Third Princess Evelina?’

’Is that true? Wait no! This is crazy!’

’Haha. She must be lying!’

The noblemen from Kingdom Averion who heard her didn’t believe her words at first. They always believed that Princess Evelina was the ugliest princess among the three princesses.

’What? What did she just say? My wife? Princess Evelina?’ Alaric instinctively rose from his seat, staring at her with shock and disbelief.

He shifted his gaze back and forth between Eve and the members of the royal family, his eyes seeking clarification. For a long moment, realization dawned on him. No wonder the members of the royal family reacted that way... they had recognized Eve instantly the moment she removed her mask.

He was the only person who was left in the dark. There were lots of things he didn’t know about his wife– her real face, her voice, her talents... and everything about her.

Alaric let out a humorless chuckle, shaking his head as he stared at Eve. ’I feel like a fool... Am I truly a joke to her?’ A cold glint flashed through his eyes as he gritted his teeth.

Unable to bear everything, Alaric turned around, storming out of the banquet hall without looking back.
