Chapter 32: Touch and Kisses

Alaric kissed her lips just long enough that he could inhale her breath and feel the warmth of her lips. This was the first time he kissed her tenderly, surprising Eve.

She should have pushed him away but she couldn’t. Instead, she closed her eyes instinctively as she angled her mouth over his.

The soft kiss deepened and became more sensual. The heat rose in her cheeks the moment she felt Alaric’s tongue capture her own tongue, gently sucking on it.

His mouth settled more firmly on hers. The tip of his tongue slid past her teeth, stroking and licking the inner walls of her mouth.

As he continued kissing her, his hand gradually began to explore. His palm slowly made its way down, pushing up the hem of her dress.

In that brief moment, Eve’s rationality won over her. She tried to push his hand away. But Alaric captured her wrist, pinning her hand over her head.

"Shhh. Stop resisting me. Let me show you how much I want you, to the point that I won’t even think of getting rid of you... my dear wife," he whispered sensually, his hot breath tickling her earlobe.

Eve quivered at his words. ’Is this true? Or just another lie?’

Alaric started licking her face, brushing away her tears. He could still see the doubt in her eyes.

"Don’t believe their lies," he purred, his lips constantly touching her cheeks, trailing kisses down her jawline.

Wanting to have more physical contact with her, his free hand found her chest, palming and feeling the softness of her breast.

She could only bite her lower lip to muffle the sound of her moan. ’No! I shouldn’t make any sound. I can’t let him know that I can finally speak and my voice has returned.’

Despite Alaric’s words, Eve was still wary of him. She couldn’t trust him completely.

In her moment of contemplation, Alaric’s head descended further down. He brushed his nose against the soft skin of her neck, smelling her intoxicating sweet scent.

She gasped in surprise when she felt his lips nibbling on her collarbone, biting and sucking on her flesh. He made sure to leave her some love marks.

Eve struggled to endure his ministrations. Every touch of his calloused hand set her body on fire.

This feeling was different from the very first moment he had claimed her. Tonight, he was surprisingly gentle as though he was trying to coax her.

In one swift motion, Alaric managed to tear her thin dress, revealing her nakedness.

Reflexively, Eve covered her breasts using her two hands while she pressed her legs together, her cheeks blushing from embarrassment. She still couldn’t get used to the feeling of being so exposed before Alaric’s heated gaze.

On the other hand, Alaric paused for a moment, staring at her with a deep frown.

"Stop covering yourself. I’ve seen them already. I’m your husband, Eve. There is no need to feel embarrassed."

Eve could only chew on her lower lip, looking away. ’How can I stop him? Do I still need to fulfill my duty as his wife? Is he telling the truth? Should I give him another chance?’

While she was debating in her mind, she suddenly felt Alaric remove her hands that were covering her breasts.

Before she could complain, Alaric’s mouth had already captured one of her crowns. His moist tongue flicked her nipple, licking and sucking gently.

Eve struggled to muffle her moan, her fingers clutching his hair. Her breathing became ragged as she arched her back.

His other hand moved further south, parting her legs apart. While he kissed and licked her nipples alternately, his fingers began to explore her most sensitive part.

Eve had to cover her mouth using her hand to suppress her moan. She glanced down at him with her anxious eyes.
