Chapter 321: Chapter 321 Zhe Jue, Check! Chapter 321: Chapter 321 Zhe Jue, Check! However, the nanny she was currently dealing with was leading her forward while meticulously instructing her about what she should pay attention to when meeting the Elder Princess.

She didn’t seem to notice anything odd.

Suddenly, the nanny in front of her stopped and turned to look at Lin Caisang.

“Miss Doctor Lin, we are almost at the main courtyard of the Princess’ Mansion. Once you go in, remember to keep quiet and focus on diagnosing the Elder Princess, so as not to draw unwanted trouble.”

“Yes, thank you for the reminder, nanny.” Lin Caisang responded.

She looked up at the pavilions before her, her confusion deepening.

“Nanny, isn’t the ‘courtyard’ ahead typically used to entertain guests? Why would the Elder Princess live there?”

Saying it was a courtyard, it seemed to be more like a garden with some long corridors and pavilions, quite fitting for entertaining guests or hosting banquets, right?

Were they trying to deceive her into thinking she had never seen what a main courtyard looked like?

“Miss Doctor Lin, you can’t speak like that. Our Elder Princess loves it here the most, she…” The nanny started to explain but quickly glanced at the two maids behind Lin Caisang.

Lin Caisang stared at her with confusion, then suddenly felt a chill running down her spine, sensing something was wrong.

The real intent of the two guards behind her revealed itself as they drew their blades targeting her back. Startled, she hurriedly lunged forward.

“Your life is mine!”

The nanny’s voice was full of viciousness. As Lin Caisang straightened up, a glint of silver light from the nanny’s weapon darted across her chest, at which she tripped the nanny over.

A sharp pain surged through her, Lin Caisang got up and with a swift kick, she knocked down the two maids who were trying to attack her.

She touched her chest and her hand was stained with blood.

“Damn it!”

She had never thought that someone would dare to take her life in such a reputable Princess’ Mansion. This time, she had been careless and that’s how she got wounded.

“You’ll pay for this!”

Knowing that she was alone and injured, against three people likely wanting to kill her, she couldn’t afford to stay.

She cast a sharp glance at them, memorizing their faces before shooting off into a deserted path. The next second, a loud noise erupted, startling Ya Molian who was working in the courtyard.

“I…”

Lin Caisang halted, and remembered that in her panic, she had entered the space of the Golden Beads, which transported her back to Ya Molian’s bamboo hut in the forest.

“What happened to you, are you hurt?”

Ya Molian paused his work, his face turning pale.

He promptly threw down whatever he was holding, rushed over, and saw the blood on her chest.

“What happened? How did you get injured?”

He reached out with a somewhat stiff hand to examine the wound on her chest but refrained from touching it for fear of causing further harm. He bent down, scooped her into his arms, and rushed towards his room.

“Master…”

Zhe Jue, hearing the commotion came out to check and saw his Master’s back retreating into the room with Lin Caisang. He also noticed the blood droplets where Lin Caisang had just stood.

“Damn! What happened?”

He was baffled. How could Lin Caisang be injured from just taking a break?

“Zhe Jue, investigate.”

While he was still stunned, the furious voice of his Master echoed from the room.

“Wait, wait, please don’t.”

As Lin Caisang was gently placed on the soft bed, she hurriedly spoke out to stop him.
