Chapter 351: Chapter 351- There Was A Problem

Bai Yin and En-Ho’s aura caused the disciples who were planning on jumping onto the stage as well to retreat a few steps.

While in the air, Eu-Ho threw out a punch that caused pressurized winds and a horrifying force to fly through the air toward the third figure. At the same time, Bai Yin performed a hand seal and used a Sword Art that caused pink Sword Energy to converge on her index and middle finger, which she then ruthlessly slashed toward the figure.

In response to the attack, the figure snorted and used a mysterious skill that allowed him to step onto thin air and dodge En-Ho’s punch. His robes flapped uncontrollably as the pressurized wind shot past him.

Bai Yin’s attack was a bit tricky since even though it was a low-level Sword Art, she had mastered it to the absolute limit, the Completion Realm.

However, the figure expertly managed to draw his sword and deflect Bai Yin’s Sword Energy.

Whether by coincidence or on purpose, this Sword Energy was deflected towards En-Ho, whose expression changed, and he had to throw out a hasty palm strike to destroy the Sword Energy.

At the same time, the figure sent out a palm strike toward Bai Yin, and like En-Ho’s attack, pressurized winds and terrifying force shot through the air towards Bai Yin.

Without drawing the sword on her back, Bai Yin expressionlessly lifted her hand and brought down her right index finger and middle finger. The Sword Energy from the Sword Art that looked to have dissipated after her first attack, suddenly appeared on her fingers again, allowing her to cut through the pressurized winds and the force of the attack.

From this, it could be seen that Bai Yin had anticipated the figure’s counterattack... or perhaps, something deeper was at foot.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

Both En-Ho and Bai Yin landed on the stage along with the third figure landed.

Bai Yin and the figure landed steadily; however, En-Ho faltered a bit upon landing.

After recovering, En-Ho had a slight look of embarrassment appear on his face, but he soon turned to glare at Bai Yin who still wore a cold and indifferent expression.

As it turns out, Bai Yin had made her first attack knowing that the figure would deflect it toward him. After that, she had planned to attack the figure once again thus killing two birds with one stone.

Even though it took a while to explain everything, this altercation had happened extremely fast.

So in that short moment, she had plotted to have both of them knocked off the stage.

This made En-Ho’s guard go up against this girl. She was extremely scheming, and her methods were ruthlessly vicious. Perhaps if he had battled her like he originally planned, he would have fallen for one of her schemes and lost to her.

En-Ho, Bai Yin, and the third figure hand landed on each side of the stage.

En-Ho was to Sol’s left, Bai Yin was directly in front of him, while the third figure was to his right.

Sol couldn’t help but smile upon seeing the brief exchange between these three. Just from this, he could see how skillful they were despite being in the Mortal Realm.

However, there was a problem.

Sol’s gaze landed on the third figure whom En-Ho and Bai Yin had joined forces to attack.

He had short brown shaggy hair and a sword with a golden scabbard strapped to his waist. He wore the Weapon Innate Dharma Pavilion’s black robes like Bai Yin, but from his appearance, it was obvious he was someone from the Western Region.

The boy’s freckled face was twisted into anger while his light green eyes glared daggers at both En-Ho and Bai Yin.

En-Ho glared back at the boy, but Bai Yin calmly cupped her fist and bowed towards Sol as she introduced herself.

"Senior Brother, my name is Bai Yin from the Weapon Innate Dharma Pavilion. I’ve already opened the acupoints in two of my limbs and have become a second-rate Martial Artist by starting on the third."

En-Ho quickly cupped his fist and bowed as well before saying.

"Senior Brother, my name is En-Ho from the Runes and Formations Pavilion. I’ve already opened a few acupoints in my third limb and settled into the level of a second-rate Martial Artist."

Sol nodded, but his gaze hadn’t left the freckled boy.

Seeing this, the freckled boy paused, but ultimately bowed his head and cupped his fist. He then opened his mouth to speak, but once again paused. Eventually, he tried introducing himself.

"My name... is Arwin from the Ga-On Church. I’m a... Paladin Warrior... in the middle stages of the... Beginner-level."

It seemed like this Arwin fellow hadn’t learned Jianghu’s language fully. He spoke and paused like he was thinking of the correct words to say, but even then, some of his words were slightly mispronounced.

En-Ho snorted when he saw that, and even though Bai Yin was still wearing an indifferent expression, if one looked closely, one would see a slight furrow between her brows.

When Arwin heard En-Ho’s mocking snort, he was both angered and embarrassed. Especially, when the snickering of the disciples around the stage drifted into his ears.

However, Arwin didn’t say a another word and clamped his mouth shut. He secretly promised himself that he would never try to speak these bastards’ language again.

However, Arwin suddenly heard Sol say.

"Arwin was it? Jianghu’s language is quite difficult to learn with how many characters you have to memorize. Not only that some characters look similar but have completely different meanings, with only a small difference in pronunciation to differentiate them. So, it’s good that you come this far in learning it."

"Thank-"

Arwin was just about to say thank you, but realized he was speaking his original language. He looked at Sol somewhat dumbfounded, because Sol was speaking his language extremely fluently.

En-Ho, Bai Yin, and the disciples below were taken aback as well.

Arwin soon came out of his surprise, and suddenly smiled before cupping his fists towards Sol.

"Thank you, Senior Brother."

Arwin had said this in Jianghu’s language, and even though his pronunciation was off, no one mocked him for it. It was obvious from his reaction that Sol was praising his efforts to speak their language.

Now that they think about it, it truly wasn’t easy to come to a foreign land and instantly know how to speak the local language fluently. At the very least this Arwin fellow was trying.

As for them, they did learn the Barbarian Race’s Language as well as the Land of Shadows’ as it had become somewhat mandatory for children, but they didn’t even consider learning the languages used by the Church or the Royals.

Perhaps they should start so they can be as fluent as this handsome Senior Brother of theirs.
