Chapter 344: Chapter 344- Girls Behaving Strangely

Soon, Sol and the others reached the top of the mountain and landed. They then walked towards the gate leading into the Administrative Division.

"After you two register your breakthroughs, why don’t you come to the Martial Hall Pagoda?"

Normally, third-year disciples who enter the Spiritual Realm would need to register their breakthroughs with the Academy to become an Apprentice Elder and receive new identity jade slips. They would also be moved to the Inner Academy where the Elders’ courtyards were.

However, with the rumor of changes coming soon, that might not be the case with newly registered Spiritual Realm disciples.

"Sure, I have time."

Yoon-Jae said with a nod.

Hearing this, Mar-Dule glanced at him.

Yoon-Jae normally avoided the Martial Hall Pagoda and clashing with other disciples in general. But it seems things have changed about Yoon-Jae more than he thought.

Yoon-Jae, to Mar-Dule, had become more reserved, but it was in a way that felt like he was a bow that was tightly drawn back and was ready to be released, or a crouching tiger waiting to pounce on its unsuspecting prey.

Mar-Dule then turned to Sol, who thought for a moment and then said.

"I want to head to the Alchemy Pavilion to see Little Zeel first."

Mar-Dule nodded.

"Speaking of which, where is Senior Little Abdu?"

Yoon-Jae suddenly asked.

In response, Sol lifted his right hand and a blue rune appeared on it.

"He’s still in seclusion."

Looking at the blue rune fading away on the back of Sol’s hand, Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule looked at it with curious expressions.

"Is that the rune you got from that place? Is it similar to the separate spaces for taming beasts like what the Beast Taming Pavilion has?"

Yoon-Jae asked again, but Sol shook his head.

"No, it’s like a storage ring, but bigger."

Upon hearing that, Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule were so shocked that they suddenly stopped walking and turned to stare at Sol with stunned expressions.

They were now at the gates leading into the Administrative Division, and disciples could be seen and heard walking as well as chatting with each other.

Seeing their reactions, Sol was confused, but Yoon-Jae explained in a whisper.

"Sol, it’s extremely rare for storage rings to hold living things. Unless it’s some rare Immortal treasure or someone cultivated a Spirit Beast Taming Technique, it’s impossible to store living things in separate spaces. Not to mention the origin of that rune, if it merely had that ability alone, the Holy Sects and Great Clans’ desire would stir greatly."

When Sol heard that, his guard went up. He then nodded seriously and said.

"I’ll be careful."

The three then continued on their way and stepped through the gated entrance.

A familiar scene of numerous disciples walking about appeared in front of Sol, and he slightly reminisced how he had attempted to join the flow when he first came to the Academy.

It was also the day he had first met Mar-Dule.

"Speaking of that rune, I wonder how the others who entered the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dimension with us are doing."

Yoon-Jae suddenly asked, and Mar-Dule replied.

"They left the Academy after returning. As for where they went after that, it’s as if they’ve vanished from Jianghu."

Sol smiled and said.

"They’re probably just in seclusion digesting their fortune. They might even be trying to break through to the Spiritual Realm. If that’s the case, then it would make sense to do it in secret. I’m sure they’ll be back soon."

Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae nodded in agreement with Sol’s theory before they weaved through the various disciples and headed for the main administrative building to register their breakthroughs.

After a moment, the three youths reached the large entrance of the main administrative building.

Compared to the other buildings in the surrounding area, one could tell just by its enormous size that it was special. Disciples in different colored robes were seen going in and out.

Mar-Dule decided to wait at the entrance while Sol and Yoon-Jae headed inside.

After they made their way inside, the two waited in separate queues that went up to the front desks where there were a few Worker Disciples.

Though something was weird as Sol waited in line, he could feel several pairs of eyes on him.

When he turned to see who it was, he realized it was a group of older girls some distance away behind him.

The girls in response to him suddenly turning towards them, turned beet red and immediately scurried off.

Sol’s face became weird. However, even though he thought those girls were behaving strangely, he focused on his current task. He knew about the process of registering his breakthrough, and how long it would be. Though what Mar-Dule said was at the back of his mind.

Upon reaching the front desk, Sol told the female disciple that he wanted to register his breakthrough before handing over his identity jade slip.

The girl took Sol’s identity jade slip but was eyeing him as she did. Though, after she looked at Sol’s information inside the jade slip, she quickly looked up at Sol with a dumbstruck expression.

"You-Your name is Solovin?"

Sol was slightly confused by her reaction but still nodded slowly. Perhaps even after all these months in seclusion he still had a bit of popularity?

When the girl saw Sol’s nod, she suddenly blushed. She was around her late teens, and though her appearance wasn’t anything otherworldly, she still looked quite beautiful.

Coupled with her blushing expression, she gave off an innocent and bashful demeanor that added to her charm.

Sol was once again confused by this, but he suddenly sighed internally and thought.

’how come Mar-Yue wasn’t blushing like this?’

Averting her gaze from Sol’s handsome face, the girl softly said.

"Senior Brother Sol, the normal procedures one would go through after registering their breakthrough into the Spiritual Realm has been halted by the Academy. You won’t be moved to the Inner Academy or become a Apprentice Elder, you’ll only be treated as normal disciple. However, your allowance will increase from a hundred mid-grade Aether Stones a month to one thousand Aether Energy stones a month. It’s not the same as an Apprentice Elder but it’s still quite a lot."

After saying that, the girl handed Sol back his identity jade slip, still avoiding his gaze.
