Chapter 311: Chapter 311- Brother Byeong-Ho, Will You Marry Me?

"Brother Byeong-Ho!"

Yuji yelled as he entered the large training hall.

In the center of the training hall was a stage that was around one hundred meters wide.

In the middle of this stage seated Byeong-Ho in a cross-legged position with his eyes closed. In front of him laid an unremarkable sword, however, the white aura that surrounded it would make anyone’s heart shudder.

This sword and Byeong-Ho seemed to be connected as there was a light pink glow around Byeong-Ho’s body that would pulsate at the same time as the white aura around the sword. Like two hearts becoming one.

Despite Yuji’s call, Byeong-Ho remained silent.

Yuji smiled and clasped his hands behind his back and took a step. The distance between the doors and the stage was around eighty meters, but Yuji reached the center of the stage in the blink of an eye.

After he appeared in front of Byeong-Ho, Yuji squatted in front of him and waved his hand in front of his face while whispering.

"Brother Byeong-Ho, I’m here for our spar."

After not getting a reply, Yuji suddenly looked down at the sword in front of Byeong-Ho. His mouth began to water, and even though his pride as a true swordsman told him he should never lay hands on another person’s sword, Yuji just couldn’t help himself.

Slowly, Yuji’s hand reached for the Immortal Sword.

Just a single touch, that’s all he wanted.

However, just as Yuji’s fingers were about to reach the Immortal Sword, Byeong-Ho’s voice entered his ears.

"What are you doing?"

Yuji froze and looked up to see Byeong-Ho glaring at him.

Yuji smiled awkwardly and said.

"I was just-"

However, Yuji’s hand suddenly shot out and he grabbed the sword. His figure then flashed, and he appeared ten steps away from Byeong-Ho. Only then did he finish his sentence.

"-want to feel the Sword Intent."

Byeong-Ho didn’t get angry that Yuji interrupted his meditation or that he picked up his sword. He only used one hand to prop up his chin while he tapped his right leg with the other.

With one tap, the sword in Yuji’s hand trembled.

Yuji acted like he didn’t notice Byeong-Ho tapping or the sword trembling as exclaimed.

"What a great sword! I still can’t get enough of it. Brother Byeong-Ho, can’t you lend it to me for thirty minutes? I’ll be your slave for twenty years in exchange!"

"No."

Byeong-Ho was casual and blunt.

Yuji paused, then said.

"Brother Byeong-Ho, I’m serious."

"I know, but I am in no need of a slave."

Tap.

There was a slight pause in Byeong-Ho’s taps, but after his second tap, the trembling of the Immortal Sword in Yuji’s hand became more intense.

Yuji’s face twitched ever so slightly, but he sighed and turned to look at the Immortal Sword in his hands.

"If only I had this Immortal Sword, I’m sure I would be able to improve my Sword Intent by leaps and bounds. I might even be able to contest against you."

Byeong-Ho’s eyebrows raised as he asked.

"Are you sure about that?"

Yuji scoffed and said.

"Don’t think you’re invincible, I just need to have a fortunate encounter and I might surpass you! But I would need to convince my father to let me explore Jianghu so I can find it."

Yuji sighed and was about to speak again, but Byeong-Ho cut him off.

"Stop stalling."

Tap.

Byeong-Ho’s pause for his third tap was delayed a lot longer than his second tap.

After the third tap, the trembling of the sword doubled.

Yuji’s heart skipped a beat when he felt the Sword Intent flare up in the sword. If it was unleashed, then his entire arm would turn into dust.

He unhesitatingly let go of the Immortal Sword, but instead of falling to the ground, it floated in the air with the hilt pointing to the sky and the tip pointing to the ground.

Yuji then silently watched as it floated back to Byeong-Ho and circled him before stopping next to him. It acted like a puppy that had been kept from its master for too long.

Yuji sighed once more.

"Your control over it is beyond anything I could have achieved if I had it for the same duration as you. If you were to unleash an attack with just the remnant Sword Intent inside it, I would probably need to use four of my Void Strings to block it."

Byeong-Ho had turned to look at his Immortal Sword, but upon hearing Yuji he turned to look at him.

"Didn’t you tell your Clan that you’ve only formed three?"

Yuji scoffed at that, but he seemed to recall something, and his face turned dark.

"I merely threw out a random number because my father kept questioning me whether I’ve mastered the Void Severing Scripture or not."

Yuji’s face became gloomier as he suddenly yelled.

"A bunch of fools the lot of them! How can it be that in all of our Clan’s history, the highest someone has learned this Sword Art is the Mastery Realm and have only formed one Void String?!"

Yuji stomped his foot in frustration.

"And you would think me being able to form three Void Strings would make Father let me leave the Clan since I can now protect myself, but no! After I told him the number, he completely forbade me from leaving the Clan, saying I’m the first one in the Clan to form more than one Void String so my safety has to come first! Imagine if I had told him the actual number?"

Yuji suddenly shivered at the thought, but he was still fuming in his heart.

Meanwhile, Byeong-Ho had turned back to observe his sword.

After a moment, he suddenly asked.

"How many Void Strings have you formed?"

Yuji paused, instead of answering Byeong-Ho he released a mischievous smile and asked.

"Why do you ask? Are you afraid I could defeat you if the number is too high?"

Byeong-Ho nodded.

"Yes, it would be an issue."

Hearing Byeong-Ho’s blunt response, Yuji sighed.

"You’re no fun. How about you guess the number?"

Byeong-Ho hadn’t taken his gaze off his Immortal Sword as he frowned at Yuji’s words.

"Then just forget I asked anything."

"Aye, you really are no fun. I actually formed a dozen Void Strings, but don’t worry the Void Severing Scripture seems to have a downside since the more Void Strings I formed the lesser their strength."

"Should you be telling me something like this?"

Yuji suddenly blinked but he soon said dismissively.

"Eh, what’s the big deal? It would have been revealed if I fought you anyway."

After saying this, Yuji looked at Byeong-Ho who was completely engrossed in observing his sword and immense jealousy rose in his heart. Soon, he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.

It seemed like he was about to make a decision that was going to change his entire future.

Yuji suddenly squatted in front of Byeong-Ho once more, and with a dead-serious expression on his face, he asked.

"Brother Byeong-Ho, will you marry me?"
