The Growth of a Titan
Chapter 273- What’s Going On Here?

Chapter 273: Chapter 273- What’s Going On Here?

"So, what if you haven’t awakened our Ancestral Bloodline? You’re all still talented!"

"That’s right left your heads up. Our Barbarian Race should be known for never lowering our heads!"

As these yells were aimed at the youths, Sol was busy staring at the stone monument with confusion.

When the circular runes lit up on it, he realized they created a larger formation.

It was a formation formed by three circles within each other.

’Why does that look familiar?’

As Sol was thinking this, Mar-Amato suddenly whined.

"I can’t see the stage!"

Both he and Mar-Tai were struggling to see past these tall adults.

Sol snapped out of his thoughts before he reached down and picked up Mar-Armato to place on his shoulders.

"Thanks, Uncle Sol."

Mar-Armato said excitedly, but Mar-Tai suddenly frowned at this.

Sol forced a smile and spoke.

"Sorry, I only have one pair of shoulders."

Mar-Tai huffed before he denied:

"I never said I wanted to be carried!"

He then turned and pushed through the crowd to head for the front.

Sol chuckled before he went back to look at the stage. However, it was then that he realized something.

’Have I grown taller?’

Everyone in the Tribe was at the lowest 5’8" and at the tallest a few inches over six feet.

Sol could see the stage just fine, and looking around he was almost on the same level as few adults here.

With that, he decided he must have grown a few inches over the past four days without him realizing.

Maybe it was a sudden growth spurt, but then again it might be something else, after all his hair had similarly grown by quite a bit.

After thinking about it, Sol concluded.

’I can only think of my transformation when I used Total Eclipse. It seems it had some effect on my body. Eh? Wait, it influenced my body without me having to hurt myself?’

This was new for Sol; the energy formed by his crescent moon would only ever strengthen his body after he was grievously injured. But now something had changed.

"Uncle Sol, have you ever been to the Land of Shadows?"

Sol was brought out of his thoughts by Mar-Amato.

"No, I haven’t been yet. Why did you ask?"

"Well, our Miura Clan has a similar ceremony like this that tests our bloodline. But it’s done one month after we are born. Everyone in the Clan would gather and anticipate who would awaken our Ancestral Bloodline. But if someone didn’t awaken it, they would be treated badly by everyone. I like the Barbarian Tribe’s Ceremony instead. They’re happy even though no one awakens their Ancestral Bloodline."

Sol hearing this smiled.

"What about you, did you awaken your Ancestral Bloodline?"

Mar-Amato nodded his little head, but then a sad expression appeared on his face.

"Even though I did, I’m not happy. I wished I had awakened the Barbarian Race bloodline like Mother did."

Sol went to comfort Mar-Amato, but he paused and mulled over his words just now. It made him realize something.

’So that’s the reason.’

A complicated expression then formed on Sol’s face, but he soon released a sigh before he asked Mar-Amato.

"Do you know Ushi?"

Mar-Amato looked surprised when he heard that.

"Uncle Sol, you know Big Brother Ushi from our Miura Clan?"

Sol nodded.

"Yeah, I met him a few days ago in the Martial Alliance Academy."

Mar-Amato’s expression turned into a stupefied look.

"Ah, you met him in the Martial Alliance Academy? No wonder the Clan Leader couldn’t find him. Almost everyone in the Clan is now searching for him after he disappeared suddenly. To think he would go to the Martial Alliance Academy."

Mar-Amato couldn’t help but laugh after finding out where his Big Brother Ushi had disappeared to.

From Mar-Amato’s words, Sol could tell Ushi wasn’t someone ordinary in the Miura Clan. His disappearance actually caused the entire Clan to panic.

At this point in the Coming-of-Age Ceremony, the kids were now leaving the stage to prepare to head out into the Eternal Desert.

Mar-Amato asked to be let down and Sol did so.

After waving at Mar-Amato off, Sol caught a glimpse of a rotund figure in the crowd.

"Mar-Dule!"

He immediately called out; however, Sol’s expression became weird when Mar-Dule suddenly looked at him with a shocked look before covering his face and acting like he didn’t see or hear him.

"Why is everyone avoiding me?"

Sol pouted.

But he could kind of understand Mar-Dule’s avoidance because of his feud with Mar-Du. Perhaps he didn’t want to get involved and chose sides until the issue was resolved.

"Where’s Brother Yoon-Jae? Did he come as well?"

Sol asked as he looked around the crowd. He chose to use his Heavenly Eyes.

As two dark ghostly lights appeared in his pupils, he shortly spotted Yoon-Jae’s figure a few tens of meters away.

Sol suddenly floated upward and drifted toward his location.

Before he got there, how called out.

"Brother Yoon-Jae!"

Yoon-Jae’s head snapped toward him, and a terrified look appeared in his eyes.

Sol tilted his head in confusion when he saw this before he landed in front of him.

"What’s with that look? I’m not mad at you or anything so why do look so scared?"

"Shhhh!"

Yoon-Jae suddenly covered Sol’s mouth with his hand before his eyes darted around the crowd.

After a moment, Yoon-Jae sighed and glared at Sol.

"Next time don’t yell my name so loudly."

Sol scratched his cheek.

"Is it those girls?"

Yoon-Jae nodded solemnly.

"After the Festival more of them started ganging up on me."

Sol smiled in amusement when he heard that.

Yoon-Jae, seeing his smile, paused and spoke.

"Nothing happened. So pretend you didn’t see anything."

"Okay."

Sol nodded, but the amused smile didn’t leave his lips.

"Ah, I mean it Sol, nothing happened. They just forced me to watch them try on some dresses they wanted to wear for Mar-Yue’s birthday. But after that, the news spread, and the other girls wanted me to do the same for them. I-"

As Yoon-Jae was trying to explain himself, his expression suddenly changed and without another word, he turned to disappear into the crowd.

"Ah! Yoon-Jae how can you run after seeing us?"

The girls who were stalking Yoon-Jae in the crowd said after they were caught.

Sol immediately turned to leave as well, but the five girl’s gazes landed on him.

"Ah, Sol, could... could you be a substitute for Yoon-Jae?"

Sol was taken aback by that. He turned around to look at the girls. The one who said that was blushing a bit, a stark contrast to their attitude towards Yoon-Jae.

"Yeah, can you help us choose a dress for Mar-Yue’s birthday party?"

The five girls approached Sol, and Sol took a step back while lifting his hands.

He was quite confused; it should be known that he was already in a relationship with Mar-Yue. They weren’t exactly being discreet.

However, these girls were asking him to watch them try on dresses they wanted to wear to his girlfriend’s birthday.

Either they were shameless, or something was going on.

Just before Sol could answer, a voice was suddenly heard saying.

"What’s going on here?"

Sol upon hearing the voice turned to his left to see Mar-Yue standing there.
