Chapter 188: Chapter 188- You’re On Time Out

"Ah, why does my head hurt?"

"Damn it, did someone hit me over the head with a rock or something?"

"Hey, can you guys stop talking for a bit, I think my head is going to explode."

Cheong-San, Heon-Tae, and Yoon-Jae could be heard individually complaining while clutching their aching heads.

Mar-Dule clutched his stomach and cried out.

"Wah! Why do I feel so hungry now?! It feels like I haven’t eaten for days?!"

Yoon-Jae immediately cursed at Mar-Dule for yelling.

Sol hurriedly moved from Byeong-Ho over to Yoon-Jae and said while healing his migraine.

"That’s because we’ve been here for nearly two weeks!"

"What?!"

Byeong-Ho, Cheong-San, Heon-Tae, Yoon-Jae, and Mar-Dule all cried out simultaneously.

Sol moved from healing Yoon-Jae to the others as he explained the situation to everyone.

When he reached Mar-Dule to heal him, he was turned away. Mar-Dule instead took out a few dakkochi and started scarfing them down.

Sol beeline for Abdu who had woken up along with the others.

"Shit, we need to leave now. What if we get caught by the Elders of the Academy?"

Yoon-Jae said, but Heon-Tae immediately said next.

"We can’t, Eldest Brother, and Fifth Brother is still in the illusion!"

Everyone turned to look at Cheong-Su and Ji-Hoon.

"Can’t we just get them out somehow?"

"I wouldn’t do that if I were you."

The little boy suddenly said in response to Cheong-San’s suggestion, and everyone turned to look at him.

"Right now they’re in the process of finding their Innate Talent, this kind of opportunity doesn’t come every day. And there’s no telling how pulling them out of the illusion now will affect their minds."

"You say they’re finding their Innate Talent. What does that mean?"

The boy turned to look at Abdu and his entire demeanor shifted. He politely responded.

"Senior-"

"You can just call me Little Abdu."

"...Little Abdu sir, to find one’s Innate Talent means to find the source of what makes your power unique to you, and your future potential."

"Little Abdu, did you see a tree as well?"

Abdu frowned.

"No, I saw an empty void."

"I saw food! Several mountains worth of it! I thought I was in Heaven, but after eating all of it I was back here feeling like I’m starving to death!"

Mar-Dule yelled as pieces of food escaped his mouth.

"I saw my blade."

Heon-Tae said while holding up his Immortal blade.

"I saw my soul."

Byeong-Ho said, and everyone turned to look at Cheong-San and Yoon-Jae.

"I saw my Brother."

Everyone titled their heads at that.

Everyone else’s made sense somewhat, but Cheong-San’s own was the strangest one yet.

"I saw myself. Try and explain that to me because I don’t know how that’s relayed to my talent."

"It probably means your talent comes naturally from you."

Sol offered an explanation, before the boy added.

"What everyone saw in the illusion will be different. It’s what you do with that knowledge that’s important."

Yoon-Jae suddenly sighed and then said.

"Since this is a separate pocket dimension, I can’t tell if the Academy already opened the dimension or not."

"We just have to hope that Eldest Brother and Fifth Brother wake up soon."

Despite the unease and looming sense of danger, the boys were forced to wait.

Yoon-Jae suddenly turned to look at the little boy.

"With everything aside, can someone explain to me why a little kid is in here?"

Flames immediately bellowed out from the little boy’s eyes. However, as Yoon-Jae approached him with Little Zeel in hand, the boy gained a hesitant expression.

"Why are you dressed as a boy?"

Yoon-Jae stopped and placed a hand on his hip.

"Well, that’s because I am. Do I sound like a girl to you?"

The little boy frowned.

"You don’t, but it’s obvious you’re faking it. No one’s going to buy that you’re a boy with that appearance."

Yoon-Jae smirked when he heard that.

"Fine, you want your proof?"

"Wah! Stop, stop, stop, stop! What are you doing in public?!"

The little boy immediately covered his eyes and tried to stop Yoon-Jae who was preparing to strip.

Yoon-Jae cackled at the boy’s reaction.

"What’s with your reaction? You think I’m into little kids?"

"I’m not a kid! I’m old enough to be your father thousands of times over!"

The boy snapped, but mid-sentence his voice cracked a bit and everyone almost burst out laughing as a result.

"Fuck, damn it. I hate this body, if someone calls me a little kid one more time, I swear I’ll-"

"Hey now, should a little brat like you be cursing like that?"

The little boy’s body physically trembled from rage. He glared at Yoon-Jae and suddenly lunged at him.

Sol immediately appeared next to the boy and held him back.

Yoon-Jae quickly took a step back from the boy and looked at him as if he were a wild animal.

"What’s with this kid?"

"You-!!"

The boy was completely enraged. Sol smiled bitterly and held him under both his arms.

"Okay, let’s say I believe you’re not a kid. You don’t seem to have a cultivation base so how are you even alive if you’re that old?"

Unable to get free from Sol’s strong grip, the boy stopped fighting back and folded his hands with a huff.

"Unlike you sacks of meat and bones that can grow old, I’m a plant-based lifeform. I’m Immortal so long as I have an energy source to keep my roots nourished."

"So basically you’re a parasite that can’t die."

"Fuck you! Who are you calling a parasite?! Your Mom’s a parasite you fucking butthole!"

Yoon-Jae picked his ears due to the boy’s loud shouting.

"Mom?"

A voice suddenly cut into the boy’s cursing.

Little Zeel opened his eyes and looked around.

"Mom?"

Little Zeel stood up in Yoon-Jae’s hands and looked at Sol with wide eyes.

"Sol, Mom was here!"

Yoon-Jae was confused, but Sol nodded with a smile on his face.

"She was here briefly."

"You met her?"

Little Zeel was surprised.

Sol nodded once again.

*Snort!*

"So you’re the offspring of that old hag."

Little Zeel frowned and turned to look at the little boy.

"Huh? Who the fuck are you looking at beansprout?"

"Fuck you, you old shriveled-up grass, don’t call my Mom that!"

"Ha! Are you going to do something about it beansprout? Your Mom’s a fucking old hag!"

"Fuck! You think I won’t do anything?!"

Little Zeel suddenly lounged at the boy with a vicious expression.

Yoon-Jae was listening to this back and forth in a daze, but he snapped out of it and quickly caught Little Zeel mid-lounge.

The little boy was about to start another round of cursing but Sol covered his mouth.

What was this situation?

"You’re on time out."

Sol walked over to the side of the hall and plopped the boy down on the ground.

"What? You think I’ll just sit here because you told me to?"

The boy was about to jump up from the ground, but Sol suddenly said.

"Little Abdu, can you watch him so he doesn’t move?"

The little boy immediately froze when he heard that.

Abdu nodded before leaping from Sol’s head onto the boy’s own .

The boy reluctantly chose not to get up, and his shoulders slumped as Abdu laid down on top of his head.

He could look down on everyone here, but Abdu was different. The boy could tell he was way older than himself.
