Chapter 112: Chapter 112- An Outsider In The Hundred Plants And Herbs Dimension

With Sol’s words, Yoon-Jae could no longer keep his skepticism.

"Damn it, if that’s the case why is you still standing around. Hurry up and activate the runes!"

As Yoon-Jae said that he flipped over his palm and took out a transparent oval disk.

He sent a bit of Aether inside and then threw it up in the air.

The disk shone with a bright white light before it expanded to cover the entire hole.

Afterward, it slowly vanished.

Now it looked like there was never a hole dug here.

Sol watch as this happened with fascination. He saw a few defensive runes on that disk, but everything else about it was a mystery.

"What is that?"

"It’s a type of Spirit Treasure created by the Sakrians in the Land of Shadows. They have a few weird devices like this. As for this one, it’s strong enough to withstand at least one strike from a Spiritual Realm cultivator."

Sol was amazed when he heard that.

"But how does it remain activated? I don’t see a core or anything."

"It absorbs the Aether Energy in the surroundings to activate. But enough of this, activate the rune!"

Sol stopped admired this strange device and turned his attention to the small iron rod.

He sat down crossed-legged and then began forming hand seals.

He was lucky.

If he hadn’t learned Runes Inscription from his master as well as the overlapping and linking method of the Jeagal Clan, he wouldn’t have been able to activate a teleportation rune like this.

But what was more important than those two things, was that he had witnessed his Master creating a teleportation rune from scratch.

Even though he almost had his head turned to mush back then, he now found that it was worth it.

If even one of these things were missing, Sol would have been stumped as to how to activate this teleportation rune.

After only a few seconds of forming hand seals, Sol placed his hand on the iron rod. A dark ominous light then emanated from it and cover Sol, Yoon-Jae, and little Zeel’s figure.

A split second later, the three vanished from the hole.

The soil covering the stone the iron rod was embedded into was revealed, but on its surface, scratch marks could be seen.

It was a strange language that was not the Barbarians’, the Sakrians’, or even the Arkadians.’

It was ancient.

Though even if one could not understand it, the way how it was wildly carved onto the stone would make one instantly realize they were frantic warnings.

A few faded red spots were on the stone as well.

Those spots were blood stains from who knows how long ago.

Meanwhile, an alchemy disciple suddenly sneaked out of the Palace and approached the hole.

He looked at the missing hole and he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

After looking around to see no one was in the area, he turned and dashed off to a secluded area in the forest nearby.

The youth stopped abruptly inside the forest before he flipped over his palm and took out a jade slip.

"Young Master, something strange is happening in the Alchemy Pavilion safe zone. There is a hole and-"

"What are you doing?"

The disciple suddenly jumped, and he spun around to see a youth leaning against a tree behind him.

"You-What are you doing here?"

The suspicious youth took a step back.

The youth who was leaning against the tree looked at this traitor with a placid expression.

He was wearing a headband around his forehead and a sword was strapped to his waist.

This was the same youth who had given Sol that strange warning back on the ship.

"I suspected you were a spy from some other Pavilion from how you were looking at that hole earlier. The Supreme Elder should be more careful, but it was a good thing I followed you."

After saying that, the youth pushed off the tree and started walking toward the nervous youth.

"Wha-What are you planning to do, get away!"

The youth who was a spy turned and tried to run away, but his body suddenly stiffen before he fell to the ground.

A chain made of flames had wrapped around his body, burning his clothes and skin.

The other end of this chain was being held by the youth with the headband as he walked over to him.

"How-How is this possible, this is a Tier 8 Innate Dharma! Who are you? I’ve never heard of you being in the Alchemy Pavilion before!"

After yelling that, the boy suddenly looked at the youth with the headband and saw killing intent in his eyes.

He was frightened and he yelled shakily.

"You-You aren’t from the Martial Alliance Academy!"

The youth with the headband froze. He then frowned and asked.

"How did you come to that conclusion?"

"If you are a disciple of the Martial Alliance Academy then you can’t kill me. We aren’t allowed to kill fellow disciples!"

Realizing that the youth was just saying that to beg for his life, the youth with the headband shook his head.

"And here I thought you figured out my secret somehow."

When the tied-up youth heard that, he looked at the youth with the headband with a confused look before his eyes suddenly widened.

"You aren’t a disciple of the Academy?"

"Nope."

The youth with the headband replied as he shook the chain.

The chain of flames flared up and the youth’s screams of pain due to being burnt alive echoed out in the forest.

In an instant, he was charred black.

The youth with the headband pulled his chain Innate Dharma and it shattered the charred corpse of the youth into dust that scattered in the wind.

There was no evidence of this brutal murder.

The youth with the headband was about to turn and leave, but...

Snap.

A small snapping sound echoed out, and his head instantly swerve around to look at a large boulder nearby with a frown.

After looking at it and listening for a moment, the youth heard nothing so he turned and left.

Several minutes later, a girl who had some colorful flowers neatly created into a necklace and bracelets, removed the hand she was using to cover her mouth before she peeked out from behind the boulder.

She had entered the forest to collect these colorful flowers because she thought they were beautiful, but she ended up being the only witness to this murder.

’That person killed was actually a spy from the other Pavilion. But that person said he wasn’t from the Academy, then where is he from?’

"I-I need to tell someone."

The girl shakily tried to stand up while leaning on the boulder, but a voice suddenly echoed behind her.

"Now why did you go and say that... I almost spared your life."

The girl’s body shook, and she spun around to see that the youth with the headband had appeared behind her.

His expression looked sad as he stared at her, but his eyes contained unprovoked killing intent.

The girl was scared.

"HEL-!!"

She immediately tried to scream for help, but the youth took a step and appear in front of her to cover her mouth.

The girl’s body trembled in the youth’s arms and tears fell down her cheek. Her eyes were pleading with the youth to spare her.

The youth looked at her silently, but his Innate Dharma in the form of a fiery chain suddenly appeared behind him.

After a few seconds, the youth stepped out from behind the boulder and fixed his clothes.

Before he left the area, he turned to the boulder and sighed.

"I didn’t want to do this, but I have to keep my identity a secret for a few days... you probably won’t starve in those days."

After saying this, the youth turned and walked out of the forest.

Behind the boulder, the girl could be seen tied up buy his chains and gagged. Tears poured down her cheeks as she did everything to resist the chains’ flames. It was because of this that she was not able to muster up the energy needed to escape.

Nonetheless, she still struggled and screamed through her gagged mouth.

However, this was an isolated part of the forest that no one would visit due to a lack of medicinal plants.

So no one would be able to hear her muffled screams for help.
