The man just accepted his crimes. If Yang Chen hadn’t known any better, he would have been quite surprised. However, knowing that the Dark Ghosts he had been killing these past few days were all villagers, he was already accustomed to the piece of news.

That was not all; he also activated the Second Change. Orange light burst out of his spear, turning into a magnificent dragon that swept its tail at the incoming sword slash.

CLANG... two attacks collided, the power behind each of the attacks surged out, destroying one another in a huge blast of storm and energy.

BOOOM... a powerful aftershock hit the area and everything within dozens of meters was blown into smithereens. The foot soldiers that were nearest to the periphery of the collision directly puked out a mouthful of blood and were blown back.

As for the others, they all retreated in horror, not wanting to become a casualty in the aftermath of the battle between these two powerful practitioners.

CLANG.. CLANG...

the dragon tail and the sword slash clashed. Even though the two attacks had nearly unleashed their full energy, neither was able to gain an edge over the other.

Even though his cultivation was much stronger now then when he was dealing with the elders of the major sect back in the ancient domain and his mastery over the [Soaring Dragon Spear Arts] has increased, with him being able to perfectly execute the first technique now, the enemy he was facing this time was also much stronger.

Three Star Battle Overlord Realm... if he wanted to take out such a character, he needed to get serious.

BANG... a dull noise of something erupting echoed out. Followed by a drastic change in the dragon’s aura. The emerald green light coming out of Yang Chen suddenly turned a faint crimson.

At the same time, there was also a great, almost berserk spike in strength. The orange dragon swelled, reaching fifteen meters in size. It then gave a piercing roar, the dragon tail that was locked in a stalemate with the sword slash forever, finally broke with the dragon tail gaining complete advantage.

"Kill him!!" Lai Zemin shouted.

The dark ghost reached with its claws once again. Those devastating claws that were even able to subvert the tail of the dragon came targeting Yang Chen’s neck.

However, right before the claws reached him, the latter activated [Crimson Golden Wings]. Two baby winglets of crimson and gold colour protruded from his back, raising his speed and saving him from the clutches of death.

ZAP... like a bolt of lightning descending straight from, Yang Chen appeared on another part of the land, scorching and burning the place he was standing at. He turned around and looked at the thing that just attacked him.

At a glance, it appeared just like all the Dark Ghosts he had fought so far. However, there was something definitely different about this one. Not only was it bigger, but the dark smoke surrounding it was also extremely dense to the point of even affecting the environment.

The moment this thing appeared, the dark world became even darker. Then there was the skeletal body of this thing. The other dark ghosts had at least some flesh or resemblance of being human.

However, this thing had completely transformed into a demonic beast. A larger than ordinary skeletal body, long, elongated tail, barbed back spines and horns. The thing was the very manifestation of chaos.

"Yang Chen, be careful of that thing, it has completely assimilated with the demonic beast essence blood within it. Not only that, I feel like it has even gone a step ahead and formed its own core".

To form its own core, wasn’t this like saying that the thing has completely turned into a dark ghost demonic beast?

Yang Chen wanted to complain. An actual Dark Ghost demonic beast wasn’t something that could be compared with the cheap knockouts created from the [Blood Sacrificial Demonic Fusion] skill.

Whether in terms of power or mysteriousness, the former was on a league of its own. As could be seen from the mysterious way it appeared and disappeared, the thing could easily kill a Battle Overlord.
