Special thanks to my editor, Bing Gan Da Da. When I first started this book, it didn’t do too well, to the point of despair. However, with the help of my editor, we managed to change the title and the book’s performance started looking promising.

Despite my shortcomings as a writer, I did not win the promotional slot battle. My editor kindly arranged for my book to launch at the optimal time. I am truly grateful since I got a full attendance bonus of 1500 RMB!

Had the launch been a bit later, I would’ve missed out on the September full attendance bonus.

That’s a whole 1500 RMB! It smells absolutely delicious!

However, I only knew about the launch yesterday, so I didn’t have drafts ready. Please forgive me.

Just kidding, but seriously, I am quite poor. To be as specific as I can without going into unnecessary detail, I am as poor as a hermit living in a remote mountainous area. I don’t want to delve deeper into it, lest it turns into a pity party or self-mockery.

Everyone has their struggles in life. Being alive and happy is already a blessing.

Now, about the book. Xiao Bai’s book is a slick, feel-good novel. The main theme is about maintaining a light-hearted and joyful mood, with no major conflicts. The ending won’t disappoint. As an average person, I don’t write profound content – just an entertaining novel.

The author has a sense of avoiding litigious topics - the knowing would know what I mean.

As for the protagonist. Is he neurotic? Perhaps, perhaps not.

Given how stressful reality is, I wanted to create a joyful world and a perfect ending in this novel.

If you still enjoy it even if my writing isn’t the best, I appreciate your understanding and hope to bring a little joy to your lives.

I would like to recommend a few books.

"Looking Over Thousands of Years From the River Of Time" by Jiang He Zai Yue. This author, much more experienced than me, has better literary skills, plot design, characterization, and has a refined taste. He has a book nearing ten thousand subscriptions, a link to which has been attached below. His books are polarizing – you either love them or can’t bear to read them, so it’s easy to determine whether it’s your cup of tea.

"I, Jiajing, Joined The Ming Emperor Chat Group" by Juzimao Detective. It’s a novel with tens of thousands of subscriptions, and it’s quite good, light-hearted, and interesting.

"Grandmaster of Ten Thousand Sects" by Baigugou Mountain. It’s a high-quality novel with a fantastic storyline – the author has a cheeky wit.

"Starting Invincible from Xuanyang Big World" by Aimei Zhiqu. This novel is a three million word long masterpiece that contains elements from Eternal Life, Covering The Sky, and it’s a perfect homage piece. His prior work was also a successful homage to Eternal Life, with word count matching the original.

"Master of Everything in Swallowed Star Universe" by Tianyufei Frost. This close to four million words long spectacular homage to "Swallowed Star" is written by an author who I believe understands "Swallowed Star" better than I do. There’s plenty to read and it could fill you up. Give it a read if you’re interested!
