Chapter 253: Chapter 253: Water Wood Seven Evil Spirits
When Yang Yu picked up the Turtle Shell, he noticed a cold smirk on Nicole’s female bodyguard’s face.
Yang Yu didn’t mind and merely responded with a light smile.
If it were his past self, seeing someone by the roadside using a Turtle Shell for Divination would elicit the same expression. It was perfectly normal.
Nicole’s face still wore a serene smile, but there was an inexplicable sense of anticipation in her eyes.
Yang Yu knew she must be facing tremendous trouble, or else she wouldn’t have come so far to seek him out.
Since that was the case, he might as well try his best to figure out her troubles!
Several seconds later, ancient coins from the Turtle Shell scattered across the table.
Yang Yu examined the arrangement of the coins, focused on his calculations, and soon came to a conclusion, "Lady Levin, this divination is quite strange! You’re here not for your own issue but for something concerning your family, correct?"
"Isn’t that very normal?" Nicole’s female bodyguard scoffed coldly, "If it’s not personal, it’s family-related. A random guess, a fifty percent chance, and you still need to use Divination..."
"It’s related to ships," Yang Yu said. "It should be about ships and sailing issues, right?"
The bodyguard instantly looked at Yang Yu with a face full of astonishment, unable to speak for a long while.
"Mr. Yang is indeed remarkable," Nicole chuckled. "Then I’ll just say it, I am from the Levin Family of M Country. You might not know this, but my grandfather was the Ship King of his era. Even now, our family is still the world’s leading shipbuilder and controls most of the maritime logistics business."
"But in recent years, our family has encountered great troubles. Previously built ships were fine, but the ships built in recent years haven’t lasted beyond forty-nine days."
"It’s not that the ships suddenly meet with accidents, but they encounter extremely severe weather conditions. The most absurd thing is, a ship, without any external force, just suddenly fell apart."
"Our family hasn’t found any technical defects, and we’ve consulted experts from various countries, but no one has been able to resolve the issue."
"I heard that Sin Ning’s future brother-in-law is very capable, so I thought I’d give it a try. As you Xia Country people say, it’s like trying to revive a dying horse as if it were alive."
"Seventy-four days, correct?" Yang Yu quickly thought of a corresponding Spell. "May I ask if all the ancestors of the Levin Family are buried in the same area?"
"Yes," Nicole nodded. "Our family has been nobility since ancient times and is quite particular, so our ancestors bought a mountain where every family member, regardless of gender, is buried. We also hired people specifically to look after and maintain the cemetery."
Yang Yu said, "Call your family and ask if there are seven pools dug near that mountain, each surrounded by seven different types of trees, with the largest being a willow."
"Okay." Nicole immediately called home and, soon after, received photos of the Levin Family cemetery from her family.
Nicole projected her phone onto the television in the private room, and several photos were displayed.
"It really is so!" Nicole’s smile vanished immediately, replaced by immense shock. "Mr. Yang, why is this?"
"No reason, just plainly someone wants to harm your family," Yang Yu said. "Tell me, what do ships and the trees by the pools have in common?"
"Ships are wood that sail on water!" Nicole promptly pointed out the key issue, "And then?"
"Then, someone utilized an ancient Witch Clan Curse Technique of Xia Country called ’Water Wood Seven Evil Spirits,’ targeting your family’s cemetery, thus creating this curse effect that is very hard to trace."
Yang Yu patiently explained, "To solve this curse, it’s not as simple as just destroying those pools. The impact of this Spell on Feng Shui has fully integrated into your family’s gravesite, and forcefully demolishing it would only worsen the curse."
Nicole was thoroughly convinced by Yang Yu and quickly inquired, "Then what should we do to solve it?"
"Two methods," Yang Yu said. "One is to relocate the graves from the past century to a new Feng Shui treasure land and rebuild the family’s Feng Shui."
"The second method is to construct a Feng Shui Array on the original site, activate it, and ensure its protection for a total of forty-nine days. After forty-nine days, all curses will naturally disappear."
"Mr. Yang, could you please help us?" Nicole’s expression became very sincere. "Money is no object."
"No need for money, as long as you trust me," Yang Yu laughed. "Lady Levin previously helped me greatly. Return your favor with a peach, repay with a plum. Call your family now and see which method they prefer; I can start designing for you."
"Okay." Nicole nodded repeatedly and immediately called her father.
Although Nicole communicated in English throughout, Yang Yu understood every word.
To put it simply, the Levin Family did not trust an unknown Magician from Xia Country.
Nicole hung up the phone, her expression slightly unnatural: "Yang Yu, my dad said they found someone who can help. Let that person try first, and if it doesn’t work, we’ll come back to you."
Nicole showed great respect to Yang Yu, and of course, he wouldn’t point out the discrepancy and make things awkward: "No problem, I just looked at the photos of your family cemetery. I can start by helping you draw some design plans for the Feng Shui Array; it’s best if they’re not needed."
"If needed, you can start on them right away, and I can activate the Feng Shui Array when I go there."
Nicole, aware that Yang Yu didn’t hear what her father said on the phone and seeing his enthusiasm, felt even more guilty.
She initially wanted to refuse, but after thinking it over, she nodded: "Alright, then you make the drawings first, and I’ll take them back."
Yang Yu had someone bring paper and a pen, and he immediately started drawing.
Nicole was astonished to see someone hand-craft such precise, flawless designs that looked as though they were made by a computer for the first time.
Even Nicole’s female bodyguard watched as Yang Yu drew on the spot, completely engrossed.
If not witnessed personally, she would indeed assume these designs were computer-generated.
To say nothing of the rest, Yang Yu’s skill in hand drawing was explosively brilliant in the art world.
"Mr. Yang, I had no idea you could draw so well," Nicole sincerely praised. "I really want you to make a portrait for me."
"No problem at all!" Yang Yu said. "If Lady Levin isn’t in a hurry to leave, I can draw one for you now."
"Sure," Nicole immediately agreed, "Sketch or watercolor?"
"Ink painting!" Yang Yu smiled lightly, "I want to use our Xia Country’s traditional painting method to showcase the beauty of Lady Levin to the world."
