Chapter 233: Chapter 233: The Lion’s Abode
Nan Yu watched the swift action and a trace of shock passed through her eyes.
"Uncle Qi, are you always this fast?"
Qi Ming chuckled and said, "Young Madam, it’s just cleaning out a pet room, not too difficult a task. The most important thing is for you to be satisfied. If it’s not okay, I can contact someone else tomorrow to do it."
After pondering, Nan Yu said, "Why don’t we go have a look now?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Nanny Wang’s voice came from the kitchen.
"Young Madam, you’ve been busy all day, eat something first, and then go have a look after the meal."
Qi Ming also said to Nan Yu, "Young Madam, let’s go have a look after eating."
Nan Yu thought for two seconds and nodded, "Okay."
She walked into the dining room, quickly ate a few bites and drank a bowl of soup, then had no desire to eat more.
Standing up, Nan Yu turned to Qi Ming and said, "Uncle Qi, let’s go have a look now."
It took her all of five minutes to finish the meal.
Seeing her rapid pace, Qi Ming stood there, distressed, and immediately said, "Young Madam, why are you eating so little? Are you not feeling well?"
Nanny Wang also looked at her with concern. "Young Madam, should I call the family doctor over?"
Nan Yu, not wanting them to worry too much, made up an excuse, "I’ve already eaten outside, I’m not hungry at all right now."
Both were relieved to hear this.
Nan Yu put on an obedient smile and said, "Uncle Qi, let’s go take a look at the house."
Qi Ming nodded and led Nan Yu to the villa next door, leaving Nanny Wang to tidy up the dining room alone.
"Young Madam, after the old lady bought these three villas, she intentionally had them connected during the renovation by making two inconspicuous doors."
Qi Ming stood with Nan Yu in the backyard and opened a door that blended seamlessly with the surrounding wall.
Nan Yu raised her eyebrows in surprise, "No wonder I hadn’t noticed there was a door here."
Qi Ming led her through to the brightly lit neighboring villa.
Upon entering, they were greeted by the tall trees and colorful flowers and plants in the yard.
In the center of the yard was a small bridge and rockery with a clear pond beneath, filled with goldfish, and several lotus flowers blooming above.
"Young Madam, considering the lions’ explosive power, I had them raise the walls and add some protective nets to ensure that the lions cannot get out, and no one else can get in, guaranteeing safety."
Nan Yu looked at the wall, which was much higher than normal. For Xiao Ba’s size, he probably couldn’t jump over it.
She nodded with satisfaction, "Uncle Qi, you’ve done a lot of work."
Qi Ming laughed and said, "Young Madam, let’s go inside and have a look."
Following behind, Nan Yu saw not only cameras in the yard but also inside the house, providing a full view of all of Xiao Ba’s movements.
Qi Ming continued, "All the rooms upstairs are empty; later on, you can buy some toys that lions like and put them there for them to play with."
"Downstairs, I’ve chosen two rooms: the biggest one for the main lion’s bedroom, and a slightly smaller one converted into a lion cub’s room where the little lions can be raised."
Nan Yu followed him inside and saw the largest bedroom had a big bed and many animal toys scattered on the floor.
Next door, the smaller room had two cribs, which were very warmly decorated.
She gave a thumbs up to Qi Ming, "Uncle Qi, you’ve done a great job!"
Qi Ming said with a smile, "Young Madam, you’re too kind; this is all part of my job."
Suddenly, he seemed to remember something and added.
"Young Madam, considering that lions are wild by nature, I’m afraid they might lose their ferociousness by being raised here. So, every weekend, we could send them to Huo Family’s deep mountains on the outskirts for a couple of days to experience life in the wild."
