Chapter 1376 - Chapter 1376 Chapter 1474 Burning the Giant
Chapter 1376: Chapter 1474: Burning the Giant Chapter 1376: Chapter 1474: Burning the Giant Zhong Wuwei’s Beast Heaven Cauldron was not only a top-tier Pill Furnace for Pill Refining, but it was also a rare treasure cauldron that could be used against enemies.
The extraordinary aspect of this cauldron lay in the fact that it had gathered the essence and blood of numerous Demon Beasts, and when activated, it could unleash the power of various Demon Beasts.
The stronger the user, the more formidable the Demon Beast’s power that could be drawn forth.
Zhong Wuwei, being a martial arts expert of the Minor Longevity realm, naturally made the power of this Beast Heaven Cauldron exceptionally awe-inspiring under his command.
Four ethereal projections of Demon Beasts, each one massive in size, not at all inferior to the four Yellow Earth Giants, toppled these giants; Zhong Wuwei waved his hands continuously, and a burst of purple flames flew out, falling upon the bodies of the four Yellow Earth Giants.
Amidst the rising purple flames, the four Yellow Earth Giants were quickly burned, their bodies crackling open, utterly defenseless.
Zhong Wuwei alone dealt with these four formidable Yellow Earth Giants, making Fang Lin seem somewhat redundant.
However, Fang Lin was happy to conserve his strength.
“Don’t be complacent,” Zhong Wuwei said, with a wave of his hand he retracted the Beast Heaven Cauldron.
Just as Fang Lin was about to speak, the ground began to rumble and shake as if thousands of horses were galloping.
Both Zhong Wuwei and Fang Lin looked ahead, their expressions becoming incredibly intense.
They saw more Yellow Earth Giants surging forward like a tide, the vibrations of the ground stemming from these charging giants.
At a glance, there appeared to be dozens of these Yellow Earth Giants, each one possessing immense strength and a tough body.
Moreover, what made Fang Lin and Zhong Wuwei feel especially wary was that among the multitude of Yellow Earth Giants, there was one that was particularly special. The others were all formed from yellow earth, but this one alone radiated a silver-white light, holding a silver longspear in its hand, distinctly different from the other Yellow Earth Giants.
Both Zhong Wuwei and Fang Lin saw the grave look in each other’s eyes. With so many Yellow Earth Giants and the addition of that formidable-looking silver giant, they had really encountered big trouble this time.
Fang Lin glanced back at another battle situation. The Demon Puppet would not be able to overcome the man in the black robe anytime soon, especially since the latter’s bronze longsword was exceedingly tricky to deal with.
Without the help of the Demon Puppet, they would have to face this on their own.
The shaking of the ground intensified to the point where it was difficult to stay upright. Both Fang Lin and Zhong Wuwei flew up into the air, readying themselves.
The silver giant, faster than its Yellow Earth counterparts, charged at the forefront. Before even reaching them, it hurled the mighty longspear in its hand directly at them with brutal force.
Boom!
The longspear came whistling with the sound of cutting through the air, turning from one spear into thousands in an instant, densely packed like a torrential downpour, covering all possible angles for Fang Lin and Zhong Wuwei to evade, leaving them no choice but to confront it head-on.
Zhong Wuwei let out a sharp cry, and the Beast Heaven Cauldron suddenly enlarged as it spun, mouth facing downward, enveloping both him and Fang Lin within.
There was a cacophony of clashing sounds from outside, like a volley of arrows being fired, countless spears striking the surface of the Beast Heaven Cauldron.
Sheltered underneath the Cauldron, Fang Lin and Zhong Wuwei were quite safe, and the cauldron, being a rare treasure, was so sturdy that it could even withstand attacks from the Long-lived Ones.
Hearing that the noises outside had stopped, Zhong Wuwei and Fang Lin flew out from the cauldron, only to be immediately met with the silver giant sweeping its longspear directly at them.
Zhong Wuwei unleashed a palm strike, purple flames engulfed the sky, colliding with the silver longspear sweeping towards him.
Just then, Zhong Wuwei was sent flying, his face unmistakably filled with shock.
Things weren’t much better for Fang Lin, who had been standing right next to Zhong Wuwei. Although he wasn’t hit by the silver longspear, a powerful force still struck him, blowing him to and fro and causing the blood and qi within his body to roil.
“This silver giant possesses the peak strength of the Minor Longevity Realm!” Fang Lin exclaimed in shock as he kept falling back, not daring to clash directly with the silver giant.
“Don’t joke,” he thought. With strength comparable to the peak of the Minor Longevity Realm, his own third level of Spirit Source wouldn’t stand a chance; if he were struck by that silver longspear, he would probably be killed on the spot.
He decided to leave the silver giant to Zhong Wuwei–after all, as a Minor Longevity expert, Zhong probably wouldn’t have too much trouble handling it.
As for Fang Lin, he would take on the relatively weaker Yellow Earth Giants.
Even these giants proved to be quite a challenge for Fang Lin, given their large numbers and massive builds. If he were to take them down one by one, his arms would probably give out before he finished.
He opened his Heavenly Eye and a daunting presence descended, immediately slowing the movements of the Yellow Earth Giants.
Then Fang Lin took out four Ancient Lamps of Flame God and began absorbing their power.
Unlike before, when he had merged the Ancient Lamps into his body, Fang Lin this time chose not to do so. He wanted to concentrate the power of the lamps to deal with the Yellow Earth Giants all at once.
Such a feat would have been impossible for the old Fang Lin, but now, having merged with the Ancient Lamps of Flame God, he could easily harness their power.
The power from the four Ancient Lamps flowed into Fang Lin, his aura rising with each passing moment.
Many Yellow Earth Giants charged at him, but Fang Lin’s expression remained calm. He lifted his right hand, and a ball of flame emerged from within.
The flames expanded rapidly, and within a few breaths, it grew as large as a hill. Fang Lin held the immense ball of fire aloft, looking somewhat small by comparison, but none could overlook him at this moment.
When the flames became as large as a mountain, Fang Lin felt he had reached his limit. If he continued to absorb power from the Ancient Lamps, he wouldn’t be able to hold on much longer.
At the same time, the Yellow Earth Giants had reached him, and they lunged at Fang Lin with a menacing force.
With a wave of his hand, those mountainous flames thunderously crashed into the Yellow Earth Giants.
In that moment, the entire formation was turned upside down.
A figure in a black robe, who was battling a Demon Puppet in the distance, cast his gaze over and showed a look of surprise, and Zhong Wuwei, locked in combat with the silver giant, also stared at Fang Lin in shock.
The Yellow Earth Giants were almost instantly submerged in the terrifying flames.
The sound of cracking filled the air; the Fire Giants were unable to resist the power of the flames–their bodies successively crumbled.
The entire earth seemed enveloped by a sea of fire, the boiling flames promising to burn a new lease of life into this barren and desolate land.
