Chapter 1324: Chapter 1423: Tiger-headed Man Chapter 1324: Chapter 1423: Tiger-headed Man Within the mountain ravine, Fang Lin walked alongside Yin Wuyan, the golden-haired puppy perching on Fang Lin’s shoulder, idly yawning out of boredom.

From time to time, Yin Wuyan reached out trying to play with the golden-haired puppy, however, the puppy seemed indifferent towards Yin Wuyan. Even when Yin Wuyan stretched her finger to touch its nose, the puppy would just tilt its little head away, apparently not fond of Yin Wuyan.

Yin Wuyan did not mind much, though. The more she looked at the little creature, the more charming she found it. If not for the fact that the golden-haired puppy belonged to Fang Lin, she would have taken it for herself long ago.

Upon hearing this, Fang Lin just chuckled disdainfully twice, not saying much more, but the mockery in his laughter was evident even to a fool.

Yin Wuyan snorted and stopped paying attention to the golden-haired puppy, but she couldn’t help stealing glances at it, her fondness growing uncontrollably.

Walking for a while, the two had delved deeper into the mountain ravine. There was a particularly conspicuous stone pillar standing there, which seemed suspicious regardless of how one looked at it.

Fang Lin did not speak, his eyes blazing with an intense sharpness as his unease grew stronger still.

A gentle breeze blew causing the little bell at Yin Wuyan’s waist to chime, its crisp and pleasant ring seemingly carrying a warning.

A sudden gust of wind swept through, causing Fang Lin and Yin Wuyan to sway slightly. Both released their energies to resist the fierce wind.

Fang Lin attempted to catch the golden-haired puppy to prevent it from getting hurt, but the puppy dodged Fang Lin’s hand, baring its teeth, which were not particularly sharp, and growling towards something in front.

“Be careful, something powerful has shown up,” the Old Dried Corpse spoke up at that moment, reminding Fang Lin to be cautious.

Fang Lin nodded. The golden-haired puppy’s peculiar behavior along with the Old Dried Corpse’s warning confirmed that indeed there was something unusual about this place.

Once the gust of wind had passed, there stood a figure in front of the stone pillar.

To be precise, it was not a person, but a monster.

This monster had the body of a human but the head of a black tiger, and its limbs were exceptionally sturdy, exuding a powerful aura all over.

Upon seeing this tiger-headed man, Fang Lin’s face changed instantly. The tiger-headed man looked at Fang Lin, Yin Wuyan, and the golden-haired dog, the craziness evident in its tiger eyes, and suddenly charged towards them.

Fang Lin wanted to take action, but then the golden-haired dog let out a sky-shaking roar, making the ground tremble violently.

The tiger-headed man was stunned for a moment but then became even more frenzied as it charged towards the golden-haired dog, its tiger claws fully revealed.

The golden-haired dog showed a ferocious expression, completely devoid of its usual silly demeanor, as a terrible aura burst forth from it.

The tiger-headed man reeled back as if struck by a heavy blow, letting out a deafening roar.

Fang Lin and Yin Wuyan both covered their ears, feeling extremely uncomfortable. Both were out of sorts, especially Fang Lin, whose injuries hadn’t healed. The tiger roar had shaken him so much that he nearly spat out blood.
