Chapter 1236 - Chapter 1236 Chapter 1235 Buddha Head

Chapter 1236: Chapter 1235: Buddha Head Chapter 1236: Chapter 1235: Buddha Head “White-haired Old Man, it seems that last time didn’t make you realize my prowess,” a bold voice rang out as the Yuan Emperor, draped in a green robe, stepped forth from the void.

Emblazoned on that green robe was an incredibly ferocious black wolf, and the Yuan Emperor himself was as fierce as a wolf, his aggressive aura completely undisguised.

At this moment, the rulers of the Upper Three Countries, all three emperors, appeared together, standing side by side as if there were no other beings between heaven and earth.

Since the last great battle between the two regions, the Three Emperors had not been seen together, but now that the fires of war reignited and more masters from the Seven Seas arrived, the Three Emperors finally made their joint appearance to confront the top experts of the Seven Seas.

The emergence of the Three Emperors thoroughly roused the many Martial Artists of the Nine Countries, boosting morale to an unprecedented level.

For the numerous Martial Artists of the Nine Countries, the Three Emperors were like deities; as long as the Three Emperors were present, the land of the Nine Countries would not fall to any invader.

Now, with the Three Emperors making their move together, it was clear that they intended to settle the score with the top experts of the Seven Seas, and the outcome of this grand battle would affect the course of the conflict between the two lands.

The Martial Artists of the Nine Countries had immense trust in the Three Emperors, and with these three sovereigns joining forces, who in the world could contend against them?

The white-haired elder looked at the Yuan Emperor and cracked a smile, “So many years have passed, who knows if you’ve gotten any stronger than before.”

The Yuan Emperor had a rugged face and an unrestrained, heroic demeanor in stark contrast to the courteous Tang Emperor.

“Don’t worry, beating you, White-haired Old Man, will still be a piece of cake,” the Yuan Emperor glanced at the white-haired elder and said with disdain.

The white-haired elder didn’t get angry and said with a smile, “That remains to be seen, maybe this time it will be this old man who beats you.”

The Yuan Emperor let out a sneer, completely disregarding the white-haired elder, seeming to look down on him.

“Situ Yue, Cangyunzi, since you’ve now revealed yourselves, shouldn’t the Buddha Head make an appearance?” said the Qin Emperor with an air of authority.

“The Buddha Head will arrive shortly,” said the white-haired elder.

“Since he is not coming, I’m not in the mood to wait for him, so I’ll start with you two,” declared the Qin Emperor, and instantly, his aura erupted as he boldly made a move.

The Tang Emperor, with his Longsword in hand, too struck down without the slightest hesitation.

The Yuan Emperor unleashed both fists, not going after Situ Yue but directly attacking the white-haired elder Cangyunzi.

Three against two, the Three Emperors were unquestionably the apex experts of the Nine Countries, any of whom alone could be deemed the strongest of the era.

As for the two from the Seven Seas, Situ Yue and Cangyunzi, they were also top masters from the three sect and Taoist Sect respectively, with exceptional strength, having participated in the last great battle between the two lands and having clashed with the Three Emperors.

If it were one on one, the outcome might be evenly matched, but now with three on two, with the Three Emperors having the numerical advantage, the battle immediately tilted in their favor.

The contest between ultimate experts was far too frightening, completely beyond the imagination of ordinary Martial Artists.

They could not see clearly how the battle unfolded, only feeling the world grow pale, with terrifying auras sweeping in from the sea.

Had this battle not been at sea but on the lands of the Nine Countries, it might have brought about tremendous disaster, affecting countless lives.

It was only at sea that such high-caliber experts as the Three Emperors could engage in an uninhibited battle to the fullest.

“Why hasn’t the Buddha Head appeared yet?”

“At this rate, how can the two seniors withstand the Three Emperors?”

“Without the Buddha Head, who among us in the Seven Seas can suppress the Three Emperors?”

Many from the Seven Seas grew anxious, because Situ Yue and Cangyunzi, after all, were just two people, and though their strength was formidable, it was still not a match for the Three Emperors.

With the Three Emperors joining forces against the two of them, it was clearly a case of the majority picking on the fewer, but without the Buddha Head, the two of them could only confront the Three Emperors–there was no possibility of them retreating just because the Buddha Head was missing.

After a long and fierce battle, Situ Yue and Cangyunzi looked to be unable to hold out much longer, when suddenly, a grand Buddha Light illuminated the entire boundless sea.

Feeling the emergence of this Buddha Light, the Three Emperors immediately showed a hint of seriousness on their faces and stopped attacking, turning their gazes toward the direction from which the Buddha Light had appeared.

Situ Yue and Cangyunzi both secretly let out a sigh of relief. The appearance of this Buddha Light meant that the Buddha Head had arrived, and they no longer had to face such immense pressure from the Three Emperors.

“Buddha Head, now that you’ve arrived, why not show yourself? What’s with all this mystification?” Qin Emperor said with a cold voice, his eyes brimming with boiling fighting intent.

“My three friends, it’s been a long time.” A gentle voice sounded, and they saw a middle-aged monk wearing a golden kasaya, stepping on a banana leaf, cutting through the waves from above the sea.

The middle-aged monk possessed a dignified and solemn face, with a red mark between his eyebrows, wearing a Buddha Statue Crown on his head, holding purple prayer beads in his hand, and also wearing a string of vermilion Buddha beads around his neck.

Upon this person’s arrival, those from the Seven Seas belonging to the Buddhist Sect immediately chanted the Buddha’s name, and for a moment, the Buddhist energy surged to the heavens.

“The Buddha Head has finally come!”

“With the Buddha Head here, even if we face the Three Emperors, we will not lose.”

“Three against three is fair; our top warriors of the Seven Seas will not lose.”

Many people from the Seven Seas were filled with excitement, seeming to hold the Buddha Head in great reverence, and even those who were not part of the Buddhist Sect, hailing from the Confucian and Taoist sects, also had extraordinary respect for the Buddha Head.

The Buddha Head stepped on the banana leaf and came, his gaze calm and gentle, seemingly untouched by the mundane world, as he looked at the Three Emperors.

“This humble monk did not come here wishing to clash with the three of you,” said the Buddha Head.

Qin Emperor laughed, “If you don’t wish to fight with us, then what are you here for? Don’t tell me you want to use your so-called Buddhist teachings to convert us to your Buddhist Sect?”

The Buddha Head smiled faintly, “Qin Emperor jests. The three of you are still entangled in worldly affairs and are not ready to enter the monastic life.”

“Then quit your prattling and resolve our grievances sooner,” Qin Emperor said.

The Buddha Head shook his head, “This battle is meaningless. The Nine Countries are doomed; it’s destiny. No one can stop it. The three of you are the mightiest in this era and yet fail to see through the workings of fate. It’s truly lamentable.”

“Haha, you people of the Buddhist Sect sure like to spout nonsense,” Yuan Emperor scoffed, swinging his foot toward the Buddha Head below.

The Buddha Head remained indifferent, without the slightest reaction, and as Yuan Emperor’s foot came down, the Buddha Light suddenly burst forth, ensuring that Yuan Emperor’s kick did not harm the Buddha Head at all, stopping it three zhang away.

“The Nine Countries will fall, and the three sects will rise. This is the natural order, fated by the Heavenly Mandate, just like the end of an era cannot be halted by human force. The vast lands of the Nine Countries will become the site for the growth and expansion of our three sects. We come to fulfill the Heavenly Mandate, in accordance with the will of the heavens,” the Buddha Head declared, his presence dignified and splendid, leaving the many Martial Artists of the Seven Seas utterly mesmerized.

The Three Emperors above, however, furrowed their brows, feeling that the Buddha Head had become increasingly eccentric over the years.
