Chapter 579: Chapter 579: The Powerful Bullying People (7)_1

Pei Qin was ready to do something with her share of the profits, but who knew that the wretch, in a fit of anger, would take the silver away again. "That’s my money! At least give me some of it!"

"I have some here." Mo Heng handed her three silver notes.

Pei Qin saw that they were three one-thousand-tael silver notes. "Where did you get these?"

"Ji Bingchu sent them," Mo Heng said. "There’s a small share of dividends from the mine for me." He instructed her to take them and use them. "If it’s not enough, I’ll withdraw some more."

"But didn’t you already give away the mine... So, these dividends were given by Prince Yong’an?" Ji Bingchu is Prince Yong’an’s man!?

Mo Heng nodded.

Pei Qin frowned, thinking back to the first time she met Ji Bingchu and the man beside him who had a restrained but undeniable presence.

Realizing her hand was being tightly squeezed and it hurt, Pei Qin drew a breath, looked down and then glared at him. "What are you doing!?"

"If anything unexpected happens to me, I will ensure your and the child’s safety in advance." She and the child were everything he cared about in life.

Pei Qin rolled her eyes at him. "As long as you don’t rebel, my daughter and I will be fine!" With Mo Heng exiled from his family and still carrying such a stigma, no matter how brilliant his talents or learning, he had no chance for a successful career in officialdom. He should choose a path with a greater likelihood of success.

"I won’t!" Mo Heng kissed her forehead.

Pei Qin pushed him away, her face darkening, "When is that male prostitute leaving? I really want to beat him up when I see his annoying face!"

"He’ll be gone in a few days!" Mo Heng had also started to resent Ji Bingchu.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. In the bitter cold, with small snowflakes drifting down, here he came holding a folding fan and putting on airs, his smile roguish and unruly. "Xiao Qinqin! Are you summoning me!? I can feel the intense longing and heartfelt call!"

"Kiss my ass! Stay three yards away from my family from now on!" Pei Qin swore at him outright.

"Three yards is too far! I prefer three feet! Or even closer!" Ji Bingchu, smiling lecherously, approached, followed by a little Radish. "Come here, Little Radish! This is your auntie!"

That Little Radish wasn’t very big, but not small either, about eleven or twelve years old, and quite familiar.

"Sister! Isn’t he the young master you taught to skateboard? The one who was with Yonglin!" Pei Qian’s eyes were sharp, she recognized who it was.

Pei Qin remembered too. This Little Radish didn’t have pale, tender skin but a wheatish complexion that, complemented by his sharp features, was quite memorable, especially since she had taught him for a while. But, "Whose Radish is this?"

"From now on, he’s yours! I’m giving him to you for free!" Ji Bingchu laughed heartily, urging the Little Radish to call out to his ’auntie.’

But Little Radish didn’t listen to him, instead bowing to Mo Heng and then to Pei Qin. "Sister Qin!"

"Don’t mention it! Whose Radish are you?" Pei Qin had a bad feeling and looked at Mo Heng, seeking confirmation. This Little Radish was no ordinary child!

Mo Heng nodded at her.

"I’m Xiao Yong." Little Radish introduced himself.

A surname of Xiao, surely a gilded one! And with that name... Is it supposed to signify ’embrace a realm’!? Ha, Pei Qin glanced at Xiao Yong, the Little Radish, and then at Ji Bingchu. "Out with it! What’s this about?"

"He’s here to learn skateboarding!" Ji Bingchu said with a sly grin.

Pei Qin scoffed at him, "Do you think I’m a three-year-old kid?"

"Since you already know, just take him in," Ji Bingchu instructed the servants behind him, "Go move his luggage over."

"One Radish, one hole! All the holes in my house are already full! Whoever has Radishes should grow them in their own field!" Pei Qin didn’t want to take him, her opposition was strong. Bear children were already hard to handle, let alone a gilded bear child, which she was even less inclined to deal with! Besides, "Why should I raise someone else’s Radish! I’m not even done with my own Little Radish!"
